*EDIT* yeah i should have been more descriptive. anyway, i'm using riivolution, and wtf's a file patch code? anyway, the stages work perfectly, no glitches, and it's all great, but the characters are just the same. no matter what I do. The purpose of a file patch code is to properly call up your downloaded hacks into your hacked version of the game (it's a much easier alternative to modifying iso's).
Sometimes, in order for hacks to be properly called up, "codes" need to be added to your RSBE01.gct file. Try downloading a program called "Code Manager" to create your .gct file. I also use for the stages, X:/brawlmods/stages/STGStageName.PAC That works for the stages, but not the characters. I've also tried to change fighters to fighter, Fighters, Fighter, all the capitalization and spelling errors that could possibly happen i fixed. it just doesn't work. You don't need it. Also, you may need to reformat the SD card. Take all the files out and format the SD card. Then put the files back in and see if it works. :P NINJA'D Oh btw, you do need XML's for Riivolution to work. There are many different kinds of XML's for loading brawl. Post by: The Corrupted one on March 03, 2011, 06:56:37 PM Riivolution is hard to use and still a little glitchy, if you really want your mods running now, use gecko, if you want to be able to run better stuff later, just switch back to Riivo, (and after using gecko, you will understand the concept much better)
