hey there. I just thought I might post this. Feel free to give feedback.

It's a hamster vertex of pikachu. I changed the ears, snout, mouth, and puffed the cheeks out a bit. Not pictured: I made pikachu's tail a small stump like what a hamster has.

As for making whiskers, I'm not sure what to do. I could leave them out, and simply put some dots on Pikachu's cheeks to suggest them, or I could make a thin spike protruding from his cheek, and another whisker on each side from the vertexes for his tongue (I'm pretty sure DasDonkey Team did this for the Mexican Bicentennial Pikachu's mustache).

I do plan to further develop the texture. Specifically, I'm probably going to work a lot on its eyes to give a realistic, hamster feel. I might include another version with cartoonish eyes (not recolors of pika's, completely done by me).
That's pretty much it.

One quick question though; is it possible to texture pikachu's hands from the wrist outwards a different color? I'm not sure where the texture mapping is for his hands, and whether or not it's shared with some other crap like his back or stomach.

btw i know beyond is making him on snake but i dont want him on snake so i thought id make my own version over ike.

ShadowSnake : Take the model of Ryu from Tatsunoko vs Capcom.

The problem if you import Ryu from Tatsunoko vs capcom is that animations from brawl won't be compatible with him. If a Psa is made for him, it would have to be made from scratch... And totally from scratch for now as the animations from Tatsuno vs Capcom can't be used yet.

i think he meant for reference, but shadowsnake has the sf4 model i think...

Ah ok, yeah for reference it can do his job greatly! But if he has the street fighter 4 model, it can be good too!

it should be better with the sf4 model, since it has more quality ^^
although TvC may work better cuz its vertex count could be more similar...(for conforming)

yeah i used a rip of Ryu from street fighter 4 as a ref, and i used his textures.

This one wasnt that easy, especially the hat and hair. i put a lot of effort into it to make it look as close to the model rip as possible. i even gave him a brawl style texture. hope everyone enjoys.  ;) (though hes not done yet.)

i have the complete rip, but the textures are REAL low quality compared to brawl, textures arent bigger than say 20 pxs... so  i decided to just use the extures to guide me in colors and use brawl textures for him...
and for the sword, thanx, that'll be usefull  ^^

Dr Panda: I'm prety sure I know this character, because she is so hard to use in this fighting game, but if you know how to use her, you can be really strong. I won't reveal her name, but from the texture I'm sure of who she is, shame she won't probably have a Psa, but anyway, it wouldn't be so easy to make her a brawl character, because of her range, she can attack close and far of her... Ah, very deadly character! :laugh: I love her stage on the first game she appeared in.
