You should be more precise about the bugs of Zihark. Anyway, your vertex are really good, and very interesting. I already made the Nephenee moveset, I don't know if I will make for them, I will see, it will depend of my inspiration.

actually, i was kinda hoping that you would make each character in a certain class group (example: wyrmidon, sword master, true blade) over the same slot so that 1. more fire emblem 10 characters could be used at once 2. the characters will be more organized in the selection screen 3. all characters in a class group will have the same moveset like in the game. i know this is not my project so obviously this is not a request, just a suggestion/preference.

suggestion for characters making use of the clone engine:

sword master cg (class group): marth
male magic using cgs: marth
female magic using cgs: zelda
warrior cg: ike
halberdier cg: link
sniper cg: link (use of sword would be minimal)
general cg: link
rogue/assasin cg: ike
mounted cgs: marth (or whoever has the largest filesize)

I have remove polygons and it is because of it

I have cleaned Sothe to 100 % and am trying to modify the MotionEtc

I don't like that one. The coat is not properly vertexed (make bigger each "line" of polygons instead of just the last one, it makes it look bad). Also, what the hell is that sword?
if someone could send me a .obj model I would work over it. I just don't have all the stuff to vertex those models.

The armplate looked good, just make it bigger and longer than the original. The "breast armor" should be made like in this image, with the belt going vertical instead of going horizontal, like in this picture:

I have a question, how did you get these models like this? They look like a lot like models which are in Brawlbox... Are they in mdl0 format?

He extracts them from the iso i suppose.

They're in obj and other 3ds max formots, but not mdl0.

Oh, I see, it explains absolutely all. Thank you for your answer, because I wondered if this game had mdl0 as this game isn't in any list, of games that have mdl0, have not Mdl0 or probably haven't mdl0.

Marcia and Jill would be nice to have in Brawl, though... They fight on their mount, it'd be weird. xD But even so!

I actually hack the game's animations so that I can get them T-posed. I replace edwards animations and model, and I rip them with dolphin. I think I can get every single model, i will try to get as much as I can because they are very useful for a lot of things (basically for drawing and for papercraft, when you have some practice you can make something like this:)

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, and I don't want to bother anyone, but it's the only thread I've found for this specific game.
There are a few radiant dawn models I want to use for papercraft, and it's unlikely that anyone else wants to rip them, as they aren't very popular. Are there any good tutorials on ripping models like this? What kind of program would I need to get? I'm new, and I have no experience in this kind of thing at all.

I use 3dripperdx, but you need a good pc to run the game.
What models are you interested in? I'm on the nintendo papercraft blog as well, and some nice models were made. I never released my Mia because I haven't made the left hand yet, but I'm working on some map models, like the mist I released.

I was looking for Sephiran, Rafiel, Reyson and dragon-form Deghinsea. I can make my own papercraft patterns, I just don't know how to get the models. is 3dripperdx easy to use?

The Black Knight interests me a lot... But why don't we see the cape of the Black Knight? It's too bad that these models doesn't have any bone... To use them, I suppose we would have to make a lot of work... Oh, Vert092, I will send you a private message, I hope I won't disturb you...

Yeah, hopefully when SDo0m starts working on the Black Knight someone gets into perfecting the his Vertex.

Though, other than the Black Knight, I want Soren and Nephenee's Sentinel to be Vertexed, mostly Soren, now that Mr. N popped back... Now that I think about it, I gotta dig up his thread. lol

About Soren, I think the problem is that it would probably be much easier to have the true Soren in brawl, so a Soren that would be posted here, but not for Mr N unfortunately because it would probably make all his animations messed up...

About the Black Knight...

You cant see the cape because of the rigging the model uses, but it's there.

I haven't finished her halberdier model yet, the belts and the scarf keep making errors because some weird double-sided faces, like oliver, nolan and lord ike. I'll see if I can fix it.

Its over Ganon, and the sword is from a psa, not the model. (I was thinking if I can get Alondite from BK's trophy to use as the sword.)

I downloaded 3dripperdx,  and I managed
to get Rafiel's model ripped, But It's
stretched and distorted, and I have no
idea where to begin with textures. Are
there any particular programs or methods
you would suggest using to re-shape the
model? I'm using Wings3d to view right now.

I've also noticed 3dripperdx sometimes fails to capture all the textures for a model. Is this normal? I've Googled for tutorials and I can't find very much information on it .

Just extract the tpl files from the iso with wiibrowse or wiiscrubber and convert them to png.

Any progress on trueblade Mia?

Um....

I actually made a slight fix on her Swordmaster form and gotten more progress than her Trueblade form.

I'll also be releasing Shinon first, because I made more progress on him than anyone else.

The problem is that I can't fix those models, so the only possible solution is to re-rip them again.
I have lots of models that have problems:
 - Boyd as a warrior: problems on his shirt, everything else is fine.
 - Nephenee as a halberdier: problems on her cape and belt, everything else done.
 - Micaiah (Light priestess): Problems on JUST the cape.
 - Oliver as a god: problems on the whole main body.
 - Lord ike: more problems, I don't exactly remember where. But its a real crappy model, brawl model is MUCH better.

The next models I will try to get are Micaiah, the other form of heather and soren, so it may take a while. Also wolfric, if you really need Nephenee's model I can release a beta version

May I ask if you use the .3dr or .obj format? I can't open the .3dr files since I don't have 3ds max, but I have ripped both Boyd and Micaiah without problems using the .obj file. Sometimes they come out with double faces, but I just delete them, and it seems to work fine. Do you think the program you use may be your problem? I'm using Wings3d and Anim8or, and the only real problem I've had is distortion of the models.

This one isn't t-posed, as I have no idea how, but here's the Boyd model I ripped. Maybe you can look at it and see if it has the same issues?

Mia looks pretty good! She should use a wo dao. Also, her skirt, eyes and eyebrows could use more work, but she looks awesome.
shinon looks pretty good as well, but you should change the eyes and remove the armor, it makes the model look like a mixture of both classes.
I can help you with textures if you want.
Also, if you're going to make wo dao or vague katti, they look pretty similar to the sword Lyn uses in brawl.

Probably the hardest work I've done so far. you may need to change the eyes and some other things.

Ok so, what do you need fixed?

The Legs are very thin, even for a woman, note that she's wearing 2 tights. you also need to fix her hair a bit, specially on the front, and her headband. Also make the neck go inside the body and correct some symetrical problems on the body if you want.
I'd also like to see some in-game pictures of her, since i can't test her at the moment :S. I want to see how the face looks, since I retextured it completly, along with the eyes.

Mia is probably, and I'm even sure that she is made on Marth, look at the work done with the textures, there are some element that belongs to Marth, not Link.

Sorry about not having pictures guys, my computer just did a system recovery and stuff so I'd like to not bore you guys with the details. I didn't finish patching the sword but I did manage to get the dress some fixes.

Progress at your own rhythm, this is what you should really do, even if some people are impatient at the point to say something like "Do it now dammit!!!".

I you want to have her so badly try to do it by yourself. I won't release unfinished crap, so you'll have to wait a little longer. I'm sure it will be worth it, the vertex is pretty good and the texture is very high-quality, it almost looks like a direct import.

Don't let people rush you guys, so far, the previews look just amazing, and this was possible 'cause of the time you've put into it now and then. Keep doing these things at your own pace, it's worth it!

As I already said, Vert092 and Hax, progress at your own rhythm, you can't work on her all the time, and you work on her when you want, and you will release her when you will be satisfied of your work, but not before. I, along with some people like Wulfy, will wait all the time you need to release her when you will be satisfied with your work! It will maybe be long, but it will really worth all this time waited.

That DS marth looks pretty good so far, but he needs more work on the belts and the armor, and a better texture overall.
