Title: 3ds Max Vertexing help.
Post by: hughie on April 05, 2011, 02:30:22 AM
Alright, so I just finished vertexing, and then I clone the vertex, but when I try to add the clone into the morpher, it doesn't show up on the list of the compatible vertexs. I tried clicking on it by picking from scene, and just trying to add it by opening the list up.

Could anyone fix this or would I have to start over?

did you edit it right?

Did you remove any of the vertex's?

Did you add or use any different modifiers?

Sometimes it won't find it if the modifiers vary between models are different.

Hmmm...
For example, did you use the Editable mesh modifier at all?

I don't know why it is there, but it always comes up under 'Morpher' after fixing the model with Mk's script.
If you use that to edit the vertices, it doesn't like to co-operate with other models.

----
Maybe you are you trying to morph something into the same thing :-\
Are you trying to morph your original vertex into the clone?

I used the Edible mesh modifier.

Then I copied it, and tried to select it, but it wouldn't show up.
Fixing it didn't do much either. They still won't select each other. :l

Yeah, that's your problem.
I did the same when I made Jack Skellington... I couldn't find a way around it and had to start again :(
