I decided to get in.

After we get 69 members, we start brainstorming.

I'm fairly adept at making stages (except the shadow system. Still confused by it honestly). I can also kind of make animations. They aren't particularly the best, but I can make some if need be.

F*ck yes an experienced, Brazilian, and sexy Stage hacker.

This is starting to look real good.


The Shadow System is just like any other model that you have to position, and give it an animation.

One of the easiest things to do, that I thought was the hardest.

1. What stage will we base it on that'll allow swimmable water?
2. The stage in then end result must be a really big stage(bigger than Osohe Castle, but still platforms for the mountain hills.
3. We need a mountain view background then a cool mountain model.

this is how you do:

First things first,

Post as many words as you can that come into your mind when you read "sexy".
No Stallion, no copy-pasting the dictionary!
Do the same with "mountain".

Mountain: Goat, Flag, Mountain Bike, Clouds, Snow, Skiing, Hikers

We'd make a censored and an uncensored version, then. XD

Mountain:
High peaks, icy tops, fresh green grass just a few miles away, Hot Tubs near cabins on high tops. Hot race cars racing around a looped/swirly track go all the way up/down a mountain, loop-horned goats(mountain goats), Himalayan abominable snowman, Penguins sliding down the mountains with an avalanche trail behind them, Snow Rabbits.

Sexy: Hot girls, Cool guys with sunglasses(maybe Kanye), Fireworks, Cool variety of colors, parties, Cool cars like a Lamborghini Reventon, and more...

Hot tubs is a must. Who's gonna build one? I can, it's no problem at all.

About the girls, it doesn't matter what game they're from, as long as they're sexy, hence the name of the stage, with nice bodies and juicy chicken breasts.

Eevee, no. That's not gonna happen. I hate that annoying little dog that I just want to kick on the face.

No animals or furries, that isn't sexy at all.

Make the water swimmable.

JoJo's song reminded me that someone needs to get morgan's model from TvC and use that on the stage.

I finally got around to making a copy all of the characters' files from TvC not too long ago and ended up extracting them, so I have Morrigan's model if it ends up being a good idea. Same goes for anyone else. And as far as ideas for the stage goes, there's no one concrete way to make something sexy: there's a good number of ways to pull it off, but it has to be done tastefully. Though a hot tub full of women is a good start...

On another note, thoughts on having a lake? From personal experience a lot of things sexy happen on a lake and on boats (especially awesome boats). Would it clash too much with a mountain, though?

I've never actually built over Pirate Ship, so tell me if this is stupid or not, but why not build it over Pirate Ship? Pirate Ship has a good amount of modeldatas and swimmable water. Unless of course it'd be hard to build over.

Then again, getting every model to work with the same amount of frames might be tedious.
However, Jungle Japes has more ModelDatas than Final Destination, so we should be good!
(because FD is annoying ModelData-wise)

Also, why an Icy mountain? It could very well be a normal mountain, much like the one seen in the Smash Skiff stage.(hey, we could import that one!)

For a lot of people to contribute to one hack since it has really been done before(on purpose).
"To put all our heads together to make one great hack". So basically trying to make "the best" or an awesome stage.

I think it should be a much larger version of the KKMM club stage. With a bunch of video game girls from everywhere dancing in cages XD

And of course the backdrop on the stage would be a uh...MOUNTAIN XD

This is going to be a Stage hack, it's written all over these pages. There's gonna be 4 different versions.

There is a specific member who is known for trolling, deleting things, and pulling stupid jokes, they like to call pranks. He will not be added on this collaborated stage.

This is gonna be a collaboration between 69 people, and I'm not about to work my ass off on this stage, and have a troll be added and just pull a "prank" delete the thing, and just get a "warning" on it because he's in the KC MM Family.

That's just not gonna happen, I know better. It's nobody that has posted here, but I think I made it obvious on who I'm talking about.

About the stage, my main view was an icy mountain with snow, for some reason. Then br3compactor showed these pictures, and completely opened my eyes:



That's when we all decided it was for the best to have alternate versions.

One of my ideas was to have the night time version of Sexy Mountain with a snowy feel to it. I have something up my sleeve that will go great with this night version I'm speaking about. They should also all have their own respective lighting.

We have some of the best of the best all around hackers on the Sexy Mountain project, so there's no reason for us not to over achieve on this ;)

One of the versions will be most likely nighttime, I believe we should have fireworks in that version.

Just make it a gaint slope so it doesn't be a walk off.
Also, yes I want this stage to be big because it should also be unique. It'll also be like exploring if it's really big. We should put a lot of easter eggs if you use the camera and walka around.

We have a bunch of fitting models. Any model we don't have can be built with vertex and things like the capsule mdl0. We also can use 2D models like Mewtwo, who's in, after all.

@SmashClash I also like big stages, but while they're interesting to play in, sometimes it's annoying because of how long it takes to kill the opponent.

It's possible for it not to be walkoff. I actually just had an idea.

But I originally thought about a lakeside stage, which is tough to make not walkoff and realistic at the same time.

Morrigan should stay in her standard outfit. Anything else would be blashemy :srs:

I think we could do it Icicle Mountain style, too. Camera/boundaries moving up or something, no walkoff. Even through it's stupid to think about srs playing(ie no walkoff) if you plan on making it a huge stage. I think walkoff isn't an issue :srs:

Also, about all those girls...You're gonna need models or vertexes, so don't go too far if there aren't pre-made models for you to use >.>

Also as a suggestion, why don't we have some sort of path around the mountain and you progressively get higher as you play (maybe you ride something on the way up).

Guys I have a nice idea for the water.

If there is animated water, let me do it (I want to experiment with translucent g(http://i0.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed/000/143/193/cad-20080602-358b1.jpg?1309710446) and animated textures).

Fine with me, i'll be focusing on the textures of the mountain and such more then the models and stage collisions and such. Unless i learn them insanely fast within a few minutes XD

There is animated Water in Delfino Plaza, Rayquaza's Lake, and many other places in the Subspace Emissary.

I figured out a way to edit the color of the water, and it's not by editing the texture or materials.

Also, the different waters, have different animations.

If you want to save yourself some time, I have quick access to all those different water models. You can probably tell by looking at a lot of my stages, they have water in them.

Be sure to be using a good model for water, cause the one in Rayquaza's Lake (which I used in some water stages of mine) is completely transparent to players. Delfino's water is meant to be used with characters, so that one should be the best I suppose.

I can't work on this.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the primary reason for this to celebrate Beyond's success?  I'm making my Travis Touchdown moveset for that exact purpose.

Sorry I'm a complete noob with the Metal Gear series.

The Snake Eater song, EVA, both appear in MGS3: Snake Eater. EVA is somone who appears as a spy to help you. In MGS3, you play as Big Boss(Known as Naked Snake during the time.) The game also takes place in 1964. I really don't want to give away spoilers or the plot to the game, but let's just say EVA and Snake fall in love...          

The Brawl Version of Snake Eater is actually Instrumental (As you notice by the name.)

Anyways, Italian, I have a texture hack for ZSS that makes her look like EVA. The texture and model are done, but with a strange texture glitch that appears to change colors. Her body texture seems to do this. On a side note, her textures were ripped from MGS3. If somone can PLEASE fix the texture glitch it's possible I could use her in Sexy Mountain.

Just so you know guys, we can't have TOO many characters on screen (IIRC did 8 brawlers on screen lag the game).

We have  about 50 characters lined up to be on screen and a big stage, I don't think the wii will  be able to handle it.

Those are just models not the actualy brawlers. I think we ARE doing it right.(Notice the other pro stage makers aren't saying it's too much >.>)

Well with characters alone you will be hitting 400 000 triangles, on top of that you have their textures (about 1 or 2 256^ - 512^ each) AND everything that is necessary to make a stage. I'm not completely knowledgeable on the hardware for the wii, but this is probably a lot more intense than anything brawl has done, so just be careful.

EDIT: Also "pro" stage builders most likely don't know about stage limits (most of these stage makers just get models from other games).

We'll just see how this prances along.

Well textures take up most space in Stages, not the models.

Textures could always be resized. Specially the ones that aren't needed.

The plan was to have about 5 girls in Sexy Mountain. Hence the many versions, different girls, for different types of themes.

Well I mean the only one I see is the Bridge of Eldin Cliff. I know MarioKing64DS is also very knowledgeable with Stages, he taught me a lot of things that put me where I am today, yet he doesn't have any stages himself.

I guess the stage should be able to work over many stages, having the water as an option. I mean, having water only when Jungle Japes is used, and no water in the rest of cases.

When I say 'able to work over many stages', I don't mean having multiple versions, if you were refering to my quote. I mean having a stage with a different way to work depending on the base stage used. Some extras not able to be seen when played in certain stages, for example, some objects only there when played over 75m, or water to swim only when placed over jungle japes. All in just one file. It would make it more interesting.

How about instead of having a night and day version we use battlefield's background or something and let it shift through the times?

Or we could do one stage, with this kind of background...

I was referring to Italian's previous posts about having multiple version with different girls in each one :p

To make it clear for everyone that might be confused out there, and likes to make accusations of their comments being ignored, cause they don't know how to read.

There's gonna be about 4 versions of Sexy Mountain. Not just for the lighting and day time, it will include changes in the sky, mountain, lighting of course, hazards such as snow will be in the Night version for example, and most importantly, the girls.

When I said 5 girls that was an average guess. Maybe we can have 7 girls, maybe we can have 3. Depends on the size limit.

These different versions, will have different girls.

For example, you will find Morrigan in the Night time version, while you find Tomb Raider in the Dusk version.

It's best to pick a stage with a large file size. If we exceed the size limit, the screech of death will occur. Having special loaders such as Riivolution may allow you to exceed the limit by a bit more than usual.

I don't think thats possible...you'd some how have to be able to tell the game that someone was standing on the collision to activate the GFX
