Title: Beta Twilight Princess Ganondorf w/ sword. update.

newest update: hey guys! im back from working on midterms/college applications.
heres a version with many of the necisary fixes:

however, expect a new one in the upcoming week or so that has brand new animations (not just stolen ones) and doesnt need the sword codes (ur welcome PAL brawlers)

NEW UPDATE: now works, but requires ALL 3 OF the codes listed below (phantom wing's sword codes).
changed ALOT of the moves. this is how i imagined him being represented based on twilight princess.

keep in mind these have NOT been playtested. PLEASE try it out and tell me how it worked/ what u did/ what happened. thanks!!!

im worried about it. it is so not done on alot of levels, but its gonna be a while before ill be able to finish with school and all. and ive been focusing on my master cheif project. i havent tested alot of things in this. hope ull enjoy playing him! :)

btw check out his >^smashes. you charge a side smash, and while charging hold up or down. i put diff moves in. B move now has range. new up throw. new taunt. new victory poses (kinda), new up tilt, crouch animation, wait 2, side smash (sword)., a jab (sword. forgot if i did that yet), the whole beamsword throw, new intro, new up Air. new dash attack, down arial, Down B (counter attack. i sooo hope it works), new up smash. lots of new here.  

PLEASE tell me what happened when u played it and what worked well / didnt work. PLEASE. im relying on u guys cuz my wii is out of comision and im working on master cheif @ a friend's. pics or vids would be loved.  (my name is MaRRoK on smash boards). :af:

I don't think it's Gannon's fault. Actually, I'm 95% sure it isn't.
Did you try is without the hack?

Is your Brawl copy burned?

actuially. ive tried out my other games. the disk drive is the thing that got fried. i dont even know.
no it wasnt in a hot place or previously broken.
ive been modding him alot and hes been working beautiful. i gave him his sword and it worked ok. then i tried to use phantom wing's sword code and reverse grips codes to give him a double ended sword. then things got wierd. the sword was on his foot, but it played like normal. i paused to take a snap  shot then the wii error and the lights went.

i think what happened was that I used 2 out of the 3 phantom wing's sword codes.

unfortunatly, considering the fact that my usb ports were previously fried. my wii is junk now.
any1 know how to repair a disk drive? that would be soooo helpful

btw the secter to getting ganon's sword to work is to have it synked to a beamsword, not bone40 or whatever his hand is. generate item, turn item inviisble, allow double items, generate article, synk article to sword, fill in missing hitboxes (there will be some). thats how i got mine to work. but keep in mind that my wii just kamakazied so u might want to try another way.

need help on the topic of the disk drive!

This would not damage the Wii. If it encountered buggy coding, the Wii would not fry itself, it would lock up. Your Wii simply had other issues that coincidentally caused it to fry when you were testing some codes. The codes themselves were not the issue.

Get your lense cleaned...
official wii lense cleaners are 9 bucks.. or somethin like that..

Dual Layer'd disks like brawl can sometimes "magically" make ur lens dirty.
otherwise if its not under warrenty its a 75 buck trip to ninty

Without reading more than the first post I can tell you that your disc drive just died. Nothing to do with hacks, the wii's disc drive just sucks major balls and playing brawl too much will eventually kill it. Happend to me twice so I decided to not send it in again and just use USB Loader.

as long as you dont reeeeaallly screw around w/ homebrew, no explosions will take place.

...and what will be the fate of mah wii if the only thing i played for the past... lets say year... was brawl?

It kinda depends on the wii..
happens with Dual Layer'd Disks... like brawl and Metroid prime trilogy..
if your wii is super loud you should probably try a lazer drive thingy cleaner..
my old wii went out.. and i just fixed it with one of those.. now it plays smoother than a greased up pig in a bacon factory

Iv'e added so much crap that has crashed my wii, nothing yet.

(I have disk read errors, the wii overheated because I accidentally left it on at night :( )

Homebrew doesn't killyour console either, unless you do something that's just plain stupid. It's always pretty clear  what you should and shouldn't do, and things that aren't clear alwas have tutorials.

Your disc drive died. It's not the homebrew, not the hacks, probably not even your fault - your Wii just bit the dust.

every1s right. it wasnt PSA. it was just coincidence that my disk drive died while modding gannon. im getting my usb loader working either today or tommorrow so i can post mah ganon. i feel like a supersticious noob now. sry to scare everyone.

can u teach me how to install a usb loader. if ur gonna say look it up on youtube or google it, ive tried that, i tried all methods. i have wii menu 4.0 so i dont know if that affects it. if you or anyone has a usb loader and installed it while having wii menu 4.0., someone please tell me their method step by step!!!

I am 99.99% sure it wasnt ganon, when brawl encounters an error that feels like it could damage your wii, it locks itself up (as someone said before). On the other hand, it could have been ganon (you never know, brawls coding isnt flawless), but i doubt it.

IF YOU REALLY WANNA TRY FRY YOUR WII, make an attack with 0 lag, a huge endless animation and have rapid fire, my wii just turned off on me when i did that, but my wii didnt fry (it took a couple of minutes before it would turn on again, though, i probably jjust shorted its circuit temporarily).

I just find it weird that my disc drive only broke when I used Phoenix Mario... and too S.N.E.S.S. its very easy but first you must own a USB that is capable of hold alot of memory like around 320 GB and has  nothing on it cause after you use it for your wii you can't use the thing on your computer anymore

go to subaction thrown item. (might be called throw item). it should have weak medium and strong versions of them. if u look it shows the weapon collission values vary. make them a single collision point. once u do that, ull have the hitbox working
as for the animation of the spin (ive only tried it on hard throw so idk if itll work with others. and ive only tried it on ganon. just warning), u have to make it custom (takes a long time. it was only worth it because i was already in the process because im putting ganon's sword in).  u generate item, rotate 90 degrees, set as projectile via thrown item projectile. make sure theres no x y or z rotations. (altho  a z rotation would be very very baddass.) when ajusting frams and all that, just copy the values from the normal ranged projectile values (the throw beamsword specific isnt named. ill get that for u this weekend. in the mean time, take the values from something we know, like snake's greneades)

keep in mind you have to custom make the hitboxes (make sure its a weapon collision, not offensive collision if u want it to not have custom effects or whatnot). the animation itself is a hastle. it doesnt behave like pit's arrows where they're not affected by gravity. swords still fall to the ground via normal brawl physics. they just dont rotate before they hit the ground. once they do, theyll bounce like norm and be a norm beamsword again.

throwing items variables are character specific. its kinda cool like that.
o almost forgot, set y offset to like 18ish (ganon is tall)

my wii's disk drive is still spazing to say the least. and to be compleatly honest, im not sure how far the sword was when i last edited this. i think i might have messed things up when i was trying to make it better. ill have a pre pre beta up for download tommorrow, assuming i have time.
yeah. use that download with extreame caution cuz it was stoped mid-tweaking, and it hasnt been 'proof-read' and its some dangerous [censored] im doing. ur more than welcome to try it out tho. in fact i would encourage it. im just worried that the wii disk drive phail might be contageous via ganon. if ur disk drive phails while using this, please tell me. i will accept no responsibility tho.

he takes out both his sword AND a beamsword. that way, you only have to use two out of 3 of phantom wing's codes. his up tilt, side smash, and intro all spawn beamswords as well. this is in connection with his unique sword-throw ability and phantom wing's code to make him hold his sword. i got the sword working on its own earlier, but it was amazingly unstable. i literally had to custom write every action of the sword independent of ganon and independent of hitboxes. it worked, but it seems much safer to use the code.

Ok I was just trying it out....it froze...it went like this:I started with my beamsword then did some attacks then did UPtilt and beamsword item appeared but Ganondorf's sword also appeared out of nowhere then I did an attack which was either Utilit again or some other 1 and it froze...I only used the 1st 2 codes...is it because I din't put last 1?

might be the wrong combination. im worried because it didnt work propperly last time i did it either. i would recomend trying it first without the sword code. then try a dif combo of the codes. so taht eliminates using 1 &2. theres still 2&3 and 1&3 to try. if none of those work, then ill have to fix my wii, then fix this.

k I tried 1 & 3 and it works but when I do side B he doesn't grab the enemy's face...I mean the animation still shows him normally but the opponent appears on lying on the ground but still gets hit while with 1 & 2 it didn't happen....BTW I thought instead of showing the bean sword, it was his sword...oh and when I throw the BW it still spins...

Edit:forgot but isn't he suppossed to have a new dash attack and kept his Sparta kick? he doesn't have Sparta kick anymore....

u know what i just thought of. the freezing may be the result of only the two codes working without the 3rd. come to think of it, the only time i used 2/3 codes, my wii esploded 30 minites later. try all 3 codes. (ill make an updated one for support with that tonight.) this just got me thinking because the only reason his moveset is so limited is because it relied on generating and eating beamswords. if i use wing's codes, i should be able to fix this. ok im kinda excited now. what ill do is get rid of the spawning beamswords and the beamsword throw thing. then ill have it work with Phantom Wing's codes (all 3). ill have it use his normal sword-code side smash (hopefully altered SFX), his Neutral A move will be the sword-code A also w/ modded SFX. his side tilt will be the Sparta kick. His up tilt will be the one I made. Then ill make a custom down B using the Dash attack animation with sword. (so u can use the new dash attack and to fill up my doubts about his down B. OMG that sounds great. ill have that update in a day or two :af2:

ok that means many things.
the first of which would be to never post a download link till uve actuially finished. the second would be never do a PSA with a nonfuncting wii. i can only try out things for like 30 minites every day/ other day. when i tried the beam sword it was working. mabe i forgot to update it or something. idk. ill take a look at this. oy this sucked.

how is the up Air move? working ok?
im also concerned about the up throw being over powered.

QS I got some sad news...Ganon doesnt work in Free for All etc...he only works fine in trainings and the reason he doesn't work in FFA etc. is because since he appears with the beamsword and not with his normal sword,since it's a beamsword that means he can lose it and so I've come to the conclusion that its because of that he freezes cause the moment he loses the beam sword it freezes...srry...but I tried him out on Training and the only overpowered move is his fully charged Side-smash since it does 36% damage while his warlock punch does only 32% which makes it more powerful than his WP....I'm srry QS but I'm confident you can fix this ^_^

ya schoolworks the whole reason i havent been able to fix my wii so i can do it myself. the disk drive is shot, but the usb loader is working. however, it seems like the wii doesnt like SSBB anymore. its odd, and ironic seeing how its my fav game.

K you have an awesome Ganon PSA and I've read through this thread, I've downloaded the newest version you've put up and I'll give you some feedback

-In brawl matches Ganon DOES spawn with his sword showing(won''t in training cause there's no spawn animation, NO BEAM SWORDS :af:
-The supposed AAA combo, well, it might be that the timing is too specific, I've tried many times and on occasion it seems like a second A attack started but canceled out, the timing is way too specific it's completely unusable, and the string simply won't work possibly due to that
-SideA smash is overpowered, a fully charged hit does 36% while his warlock only does 32%, tone it down to like 28% fully charged(it'll still be stronger than his fully charged DownA which is 26% on both hits)
-Another thing I noticed, if you hit on the tip of the SideA Smashes range, it does 39%, the range is ok, but the damge needs to be toned down, and hitting at the tip of the swrods range on the sideA smash has very little knockback, even at 300% I couldn't kill anyone by hitting them with the tip of the range
-Sparta kick is in and works but Ganon doesn't grunt when he does it, I think he does in his normal form but I'm not sure
-UpTilt does no damage whatsoever, simply it does not work, the animation is there but his sword goes right through the opponent
-His Up Throw is WAAAY Overpowered, it does 140%!!! and has no knockback at all, the enemy just sticks to the ground that needs to be majorly fixed
-DownB special, now I know you said it doesn't work yet, and I can't wait until it does cause It'll really up Ganon's playstayle, but when you do it in the air there's a cool graphics effects where wave dust cloud things circle around him but on the ground they're not there, it'd be better to have it on the ground only, it makes more sense and it'd be great to get the Down B Working
-DownAir and UpAir both have a weird glitch, when the attack animation ends for DownAir Ganon respawns or teleports up a little then falls, and with UpAir it's the same thing but he respawns/teleports down right after the attack animation ends
-Another thing about his DownAir, when I hit and enemy standing on the ground, they just stick to the ground, even hitting them at 300% they will not move, there's no knockback like his original DownAir
-Just a suggestion, how about making FAir spike down? since with your Ganon he no longer has any other spikes
-Another suggestion, the DownAir is cool and would be great if the glitch is fixed, but I feel the UpAir is just too similar to his UpB attack, how about reverting it back to the original or making some kind of upwards half moon sword slash like Link's UpTilt
-His running A is kinda weak, it's only a kill shot once the opponent gets past the 400% mark, the knockback is good at low damage for a follow up attack sometimes but it seems too weak IMO

XD sanity...anyway IDK anything about a new Brawl+ update...anyway I tried him and he's awesome....but like Sanity/Satiny said fix his SideSmash cause not only is it more powerful than WP but it also has long reach(IDK 3-5 feet?)....but I dont have problem with it...also his UAir and DAir...after they end he teleports to ground....

O my bad. didnt read carefully. yeah i only have the 4.1 . i didnt even know there was a 5.0 . id be more than willing to get that for you. in the meantime, heres a fix. i changed his up air to his old up smash. i think itll look cool. if not, ive got a really cool plan B in mind

fixed the down air, up throw, Fair, side smash, up tilt, AAAAAcombo (5 hit combo baby. i call it the Gerudo Razor.), and made sure the sound effects and whatnot are lined up.
im gonna take advantage of my minimal homework to focus on getting my wii up and running so i dont have to keep posting half-assed updates. btw thanks every1 thats been helping me. ull def get honorable mentions/ moves named after you

Disregard my last post, I got my stuff working, now I'll give you feedback on the new TP Ganon link

-Uptilt still does no damage at all, the sword goes right through the opponent
-AAAAA combo, well it needs work, if you hold down A it does the combo fine, but the timing is still too awkward to pull it off by tapping A because then the next jab cancels out and starts the first again which is very cheap because the opponent gets stuck in your combo
-AAAAA combo is overpowered, with all hits it does 25%
-AAAAA combo has no knockback, even on the last hit
-AAAAA combo, well, the second hit doesn't actually hit the opponent, it's like the uptilt, it just goes right through
-You can cancel out of the AAAAA combo at any time and start it over, it's almost an infinite, need to make it so you can't cancel out so fast
-Upthrow has too much knockback, it send the enemy off the screen upwards, doesn't kill them, but there's no combo potential, and you can't kill with it either
-Upthrow is a little too weak, it only does 3%, try around 7%, same as the down throw
-Fair spikes, awesome! :D
-UpAir has an isanely small hitbox and does very little damage with no knockback, and the animation seems weird, why don't you try your plan B
-Hittting with the very tip of the SideA Smashes range fully charged still does 36% and has no knockback, tyr to lower it to like 28% and give it some knockback
-DownAir still makes Ganon teleport up after he's finished with the attack animation, I think it's that the attack extends in range and then Ganon teleports back to where he would be falling if he hadn't done the attack
-DownB still doesn't work(I know your working on it ;))

WOW I PHAIL @ LIFE. lol. ok ive got like no idea whats going wrong with the up tilt. its being difficult.

lol ironic. Gerudo Razor was supposed to be slow and linking. not fast and cheezy. ill fix that tommorrow

i didnt know if the new up Air would look wierd of not. now i know. plan B is amazingly awesome, but i wanted something with less graphics tho (PSAs tend to overuse animations). Plan B is where he throws something upward while in the air, then right above him a large darkness explosion apears (like vBrawl's zelda's up air.).

down B was going to be a counter that let into the Gerudo Razor. but i cannot for the life of me get a counter-attack working.
so heres a new idea:

 its a teleport move. u know how his normal intro is him walking out of a darkness portal? im making him walk into it, then apear somwhere left or right of him. (inspired by Meta knight's down B move).

cuz teleports are difficult (invisibility + invincibility + prescribed movement on a timer), i have a plan B to this. He does standing animation 2, awesome lightning and energy effects, creates a ball of lightning inbetween his hands. the ball stays suspended in the air infront of him as he finished his standing 2 animation. he then does the Side smash animation. lightnig effect. the ball'o'thunda shoots foward and hits. the ball is similar to a fully charged Samus's B move. only faster. takes alittle bit to get ready, you cant save the chargup, and cant cancel the animation once started.

i want to make warlock punch more powerful. damage-wise
i want to decrease ALOT his side smash.
up throw needs to be weakened.
idk wtf is up with his down A. i literally made it go straight to his down B command. no tricks or anything.


I want his sword to do very little damage (5-10% each max). but i want them to have great knockback. conversly, i want to reduce the knockback of some of his other moves, and mega increase their damage.
 his sword is a light sword that he stole from the 6 sages. i want it have great knockback growth, but hardly any base knockback. he must damage them with his darkness before he can kill them with light.
in other news. i have tried 3 diff ISOs (usb loader burnt from origonal game disk, back-up downloaded online and put into usb loader, a diff backup downloaded online and put into usb loader, and a friend's ISO burnt from his origonal game disk)
nothin works.
heres the deal. MY WII HATES BRAWL.
im gonna try 1 last desperate attempt and try to use a JPN version game and see if it works.
btw in next update, sheild pose will be his up taunt animation. (Sword block)


besides that, it sounds like my Brawl days are over :( :(
i need a [censored]ing tri-wing screwdrive so i can take my wii apart. lol that 1 screw is preventing me from seeing my glitchtastic Ganon-baby!

btw, the last hit of the Gerudo Razor (AAAAA combo) is supposed to knockback alot with darkness effect. but guess what animation i assigned as the final hit? u guess it! the uptilt animation! the same one that still wont work! haza!

-The Plan B for the UpAir sounds good, I'd try to make it look more like a darkness blast rather than some random stuff being thrown upwards and then an explosion lol

-I'm sure if you request some help, you'll get some for that counter, because honestly a counter sounds awesome, try asking for help, sorry but I know nothing of this stuff, but your other plan sounds just about as good so no worries

-Ya, fix that AAAAA combo lol cause it seems like an awesome idea

-No No, keep his upthrow the way it is now, it's perfect IMO, the damage is good for a throw(8%) and the enemy gets stunned a little before flying up which gives enough time for a follow up move for an awesome combo, my advice, keep upthrow the way it is ;)

-Warlock Punch is already pretty powerful, adding more would probably be overpowering it, but if you do, I'd only raise it by 2% or 3%

-Actually, the damage on his sidesmash is fine now, it's 26% fully charged, it's just hitting with the tip of the hitbox, it's still 36% damage fully charged and has no knockback, that's the only thing that really needs to be fixed

-KEEP THE UPTHROW TEH WAY IT IS LOL, no seriously it's perfect the way it is now, actually, 1 thing that does need to be changed is the kockback, it stays constantly the same amount of knockback regardless of how much damage the opponent has, you can't kill with it because of this, you should make it so the knockback has some growth

-Yeah, the DownAir has a little glitch, it's a great idea, maybe if you just switch it with the animation with damage instead of the DownB command as a whole

-No offense on you idea for the sword, but that's very bad for combo potential, if you make the sword weak with great knockback, that means you won't be able to follow up with any other attacks, and your game plan will be reduce to slowly building up damage with weak sword attacks until the great knockback kills the opponent or just pulling off 1 stong melee attack and then let the knockback of the sword kill the opponent for an easy 2-hit kill, sorry but that would kill this Ganon and make him very boring if you did that

-Why are you using ISOs? Have you tried just using the homebrew wii channel with Gecko 1.9.2? That works great for me, and I use the cheat manager to choose which codes I want on and make a gct file right from the wii homebrew channel cheat manager application, it goes right to the codes folder on your SD card, try that, it's much easier than burning discs with ISOs

-Go to the support thread and ask for help with your wii, it is hacking related after all, I got help with my brawl+ problems there

-Yeah the AAAAA combo has no knockback, and the damage should be reduced, 25% is nuts for a simple A combo


Hope you don't mind but I have some suggestions/Ideas:

-Just a small idea for his BackAir, I mean the original is cool but Fair already has a great punch with a spike, how about making the BackAir a sword slash kinda like his sidesmash?

-I have 2 ideas for DownB, here's the first, remember Ganondorf's attacks from the boss fight in OOT? One of them was a punch to the ground which let out a huge shockwave that torn down some block platforms in the room, why not try and idea like that? Make it like a GTFO move and have it knockback opponents to the side, and doing it in the air would make him charge downwards and do the attack

-Second idea for DownB, well it's more of an alternate of the first, doing DownB in the air, an alternate for the idea I said above could be making Ganondorf float in air and charge up and shoot 4 energy balls downwards like he did in the OOT Boss battle, yes there was a point when he shot 4 at once, so his DownB on the ground would be his shockwave punch and in the air it would be the energy blasts

I think they home in on Link, you could do that for 1 on 1 fights for the DownB in the air


-His UpB in the air is good for recovery and a combo follow up in the air, but no one really just uses his UpB straight from the ground on an opponent who is also on the ground, it makes more sense to just do a regular grab, so I have an idea for making his UpB on the ground different, how about a Spinning Sword slash? He did it in the boss fight in Twilight Princess, it had like 3 spins and you couldn't block it because the first hit would knock away your shield and the second would hit you, don't make it a charge move though, cause then it'd be too much like Link's, just give it a little startup lag

-I like his SideB in the air, it's a great ending kill move when you and your opponent have 1 life left, and it's useful on the ground too because it lets you get another hit in right after you do it, but if you want to make it different, you could make Ganon shoot 1 energy ball like he did in OOT just sideways, Ganon with projectiles, now that's sacry >D

-Also his Running A, could you make it like his dashing sword strike from Twilight Princess? That'd be awesome

EDIT: I FOUND THE HITBOX ON THE UPTILT!! It does damage and knockback but the hitbox is insanely small, it's behind Ganon at his feet :srs: No really it's there, like the exact opposite spot you want the hitbox at, and it's very small

i should have elaborated. you cannot give characters diff movesets outside the hilariously unstable moveset swap code.

what you can do is give a character the Texture of another character. this literally means that the other character's texture is synked with the character's bones. i know what ur thinking but no, it actuially looks like the other character. legit.
the problem is that special animations (B moves, taunts, swim, and throw) are unstable atm. and literally all the hitboxes need to be redone cuz the positions have been changed.


its very easy to try for urself. i would suggest falco-snake. take a falco texture (a custom one), and rename it FitSnake00.pcs .    then put it in Snake's folder. it worked for me.



anyway thatnks alot for the imput! honestly, with so many other commitments in my life and a non-functioning wii, this will be my first and last peice of art. im not doing master chief. wayy too busy. but ill finish up this project till its perfect.  (obviously wont be PERFECT untill u no longer need the code)

yeah the reason im using ISOs is because my wii's disk drive is shot. and the JPN disk does not work. i have tried everything. therefore, untill i can open up my wii to fix the disk drive and use the origonal disk, i will make nothing else.

ok as for the updates. im throwing out the light sword idea. ur right. that was a dumb idea anyway.

new VB will be a Counter like origonally planned. he will go into a Gerudo Razor from it.
HOW IT WORKS: pres and hold down be. hell be locked in his sword-taunt animation. his cape will fly as wind spirals at his feet. this can be held for 11 Seconds max. then you go to a sheild-break animation (Ganon FORBIDS unbalenced cheapness)
while holding down B, he will ignore all knockback, flinch, or effects. he will take the % from any attacks. but he will be unmovable and indestructable (think gigabowser minus the PWNage). he stays like that as long as u hold down B until 11 seconds are up.
heres the spicy part. when u release B from holding downB, he launches his counter attack imediatly. his counterattack is a beefed up Gerudo Razor, with more things going on.

its not automatic like ur fancy-smancy fire emblem counter-attacks, but it gets the job done. ull manually have to trigger the attack tho. also, remember that he still takes % from this move.

because this animation is not an attack and the guard animation, i will removed it as a taunt animation and make his down taunt his old intro. (1% hitboxes. like WEEGEE's taunt XD)

i wanna have his down air working. i love the idea.
new sidesmash will be his dash attack animation.
new back air will be his sidesmash sword swing animation sped up.


also. i am gettig rid of the warlock punch and giving him a range move. its the same animationa as his warlock punch. special graphics and darkness spawns on his bones. he then does 1 of two things (depends if you change direction mid animation.)
efect 1: i described in a previous post only instead of a Win2 animation, its his warlock punch animation. its an electric ball. the problem is that it cant be reflected because its not technicly a projectile. THat will be hard to make

effect 2: win2 animation stoping 2/3 in. spirals of dark energy shoot foward and damage/ hit enemys. think vBrawl Mario's Final smash, only it doesnt knock them back as it travels. offers no knockback, but it stuns them in a dark-ness hit animation. . good set up to a side B or a smash attack.

at the end of the spiral, a Hog-beast's head apears. that, if hit, does 999% and a gazillion knockback. it has 1 1frame hitbox on the COMPLEATE opposite side of the field. wont work on most stages. will probably only work on a custom stage or on SSBM temple where ganon is on the compleate opposite side of the field as the person being hit.

btw. the spiraling darkness effect will only have hitboxes about as far as the length of final destination. teh graphic will continue tho. does .7% per hit (average 3 hits?). the meam travels slowly so its easy to dodge, but its still good.

It's sad to hear this will be your only piece of work, it's such an awesome PSA, but I understand how life goes

For your DownB counter idea, it's a great idea, but I see a possible problem, that counter-attack is gonna have to come out automatically and fast as hell just like Marths otherwise, the opponent will just hit you and block your counter-strike

Or if you absolutely have to make it that you have to initiate the counterstrike manually, then give the counter-strike very little startup lag so it'll be a guaranteed hit almost every time unless, you know, you're just terrible at timing, that's gonna have to be tested a lot, well I'm your guy, I'll give you feedback throughout upcoming updates

Another thing, if an opponent attacks with an aerial strike and you do the DownB counter, how would the counter-attack hit if their above you? Your gonna have to give that first strike in the counter attack a large hitbox otherwise you'll just be taking damage, then the whole idea of taking the damage but doing a counter will be for nothing, just be careful with this

That being said it's a good idea, especially the shield break after 11 seconds, however I'm worried about 1 thing, say someone initiates the DownB and holds it for 10 seconds, then lets it go, then immediately hits DownB again, what's going to happen? Will the counterattack-timer restart? If so then this idea isn't going to work out because people will just constantly re-activate the Counter when their percentage is high and spam counter attacks.

You need to make it like a gauge like the regular shields are in the game that will slowly refill as time passes while not using the DownB counter, and your going to need a way to make this gauge visible,whether it be a bar underneath you player icon, or have Darkness graphics while doing the down B resemble how much your darkness gauge is filled, If you gauge is filled completely, then when you do DownB, a lot of darkness will surround Ganon, and then fade as time passes, and say someone lets go at 10 seconds and reactivates the counter again immediately, the amount of darkness surrounding Ganon should appear as much as it was when they ended the counter at 10 seconds warning them they only have 1 second left, then the player will have to let the gauge refill

This is essential in balancing out the counter DownB move, if this can't be done, then I'll try to help think of some other ideas to balance it out, or come up with another move if it has to be done, as you've seen I already have one idea for DownB, one on the ground and a different one for in the air

I hate to ask but try to incorporate a spinning sword attack if it's possible for UpB on the ground, it would be so epic and faithful the the Twilight Princess Ganondorf battle

I'd like for the DownAir to work to, it's a great idea

Wait, for his sidesmash, are you going to change it to his running sword slash animation? Then what will the new running sword attack animation be? IMO the sidesmash sword attack animation is perfectly fine the way it is, I think a big swiping slash would be better than a stab, bigger hitbox to cover more ground

New BackAir sounds awesome, just don't make it so fast we can't see the sword slash lol

It'd be great if you could make the energy ball a projectile it would solve some problems, however I understand the limits of code editing, so one thing to note, if it's going to be an energy ball, would it be possible to have the hitbox only on the energy ball and not in the space between Ganon and the ball? Also, is Ganon going to be stuck in an animation until the energy blast disappears or would it be possible to have him fire it and then go do something else?

just some precautionary tips, just trying to help, let me know if I'm becoming a nuisance, it's just I love this PSA and want to help make it more awesome

Fair fixed. sorry its not a compleate spike. while it would make him good, im adding alot to this guy and i dont want him to be too good (ill have to do a few other things but i think im close to balanced.) its close to a spike, but not exactly. its a 240 degree angle. not a 270, but still damn good.

up throw fixeded. left an easteregg for you to find if u can. at the end of his animation, i hid a hitbox in his mouth. go find out what it will do!  :af2:
back air made alot weaker (worthless move anyway)
up air is now a evil eruption. its really creative. there are 4 hitpoints like so(spread out tho):

1: hits the opponent straight up. 7%. average knockback
2: hits the opponent down and to the left 225 degree. 7% average knockback
4: hits the opponent down and to the right 315 degree. 7% average knockback
3: SPIKES the opponent. thats right. thats right. but its not what ur thinking. it wont just hit them down. o no. itll hit them down the same rate that ur falling out so u get a free midair swing at em on their way down if u hit them with this hitbox. in addition. the attack deals 19%!?!?! awesome!!! theres a catch. the attacks are intant reaction, so u can only be hit by 1 hitbox, thus making it hard to be hit by. also, the hitbox is very very smalll. his hand essentially needs to touch the person. good luck getting it!

O! i think i fixed the up tilt. ive said that b4, but ive got a good feeling about this one :)

oh yeah. idk if itll work but his down taunt, he should have meta knight's voice clip of him saying: "fight me"

i had a spinning sword idea in mind. its hard to do tho but i have an idea. thats not gonna be for a while.

yeah 2 frames after initated, the counterattack begins. keep in mind that about 66 frames is 1 second. i think thats fast enough

no, the counter restarts every 11 seconds every time the down B is activated. i dont think i put that into the newest update. i just wanna see if it works. im new to button activations.


gerudo razor has comands on the button presses and the button releases. ull have to press slower in order to get more hits in. if u rush it, hell do a rushed attack.

made warlock punch stronger. it should've definitly been stronger in Brawl. it takes 3 seconds just to do!


i forgot to do a down B for the air. whoops!
ill make it something entirely different. im thinking he does the sword-taunt, lightning comes down from the top of the stage (pikachus down B lightning only it goes thru platforms. its an effect so itll do no damage or anything. just for show), when the lightning hits his sword, the sword will start to glow (already figures out how), and mini lightning (the light that comes when you throw a pokeball), will spray off his sword and hit opponents. this move will REFLECT PROJECTILES. however, it will do so at a 60 degree angle. sheild block baby. clowds will gather at his feet and slow hit fall when he does this.

more importantly: info on new project. while ive pretty much accepted the fact that i will never get the sword working w.o the code, im optimistic that i can sync the code to a diff character. that means that i can def give other characters permanent, invisible beamswords to hold in addition to other items. why does this matter? 2 words: dual weild. thats right.  link is going to get pimped out. 2 energy swords, no shields. its gonna be fun on a bun.
what i MIGHT be able to do (no idea one way or the other) is synck an article to hold permenently on the bone of the character's right hand. ex: snake always hold his rocket launcher, shiek always holding needles, peach always holding toad. ok it doesnt sound THAT interesting.

but heres the cool idea. falco having the arwing! just synk that to the dragoon ride animation. then have his final smash generate and pick up all 3 dragoon parts. falco will then say "personally i prefer the air", will then jump into an arwing, which he then flys into the enemy with (sry. no way to shoot yet). perfectly fair and balenced. and ACURATE. i HATE how he was given a landmaster.
ive got nowhere else to post this cuz its not thread material yet. i just wanted to share cuz my schedual is random and its random weither or not i can update ganon. at least ull know im looking out for u falco style.

I regret to inform you that the DownB counter works nothing like you said

-First off, you cannot hold the counter for 11 seconds, you actually can't hold it at all, I've tried holding Down and B, and holding just B, the counterattack comes out after a specific time automatically
-Second, the counterattack is automatic, you cannot control when it comes out, theres a timer set after you start the counter animation(there's about 2 and 1/2 seconds) and then the attack just comes out automatically, it cannot be controlled
-Third, the counter attack itself has no knockback at all, and during the time you attack the opponent, the opponent can just mash A and if they manage to throw a punch out, it'll negate your whole counterattack
-Fourth, damage cannot be taken during the invincibility frames of the counterattack

I'm sorry to say this but it needs more work, if you can't get a controlled counterattack, how about making it like Marth's? Since we know it's possible for the counterattack to come out automatically, all you'd need to do is figure out how to make it come out right when you get hit, then all you'd have to do is fix the counter attack itself

Now on to more feedback:
-DownAir still has that teleport glitch, nothing changed

-Fair, well the idea you have for it is fine, he doesn't need a complete spike, but the problem is you executed the angle wrong, the attack now actually drags the opponent towards Ganondorf, I've actually managed to hit opponents who were off the stage back on it! You put the angle in the opposite way you wanted :af2: It's alright, simple mistake, simple fix

-No offense but you completely screwed up his upthrow, it only does 1% damage and has way too much knockback(the opponent goes off screen and almost dies), it was perfect in your last update with 7% damage and less knockback

-I'm just curious, why did you nerf his BackAir? I can understand to balance him but I mean Ganondorf is supposed to be a powerhouse, how about making his BackAir a sped up side smash or make it some sort of sword slash so it'll have more range, and then keep it at the damage it is now so it'll be a weak strike with range, sounds more balanced than just killing one of his moves completely

-His Upair, GREAT IDEA, no I really mean it but, um.... It doesn't work.... at all, the attack animation is his regular upsmash(upwards kick) with his warlock punch effects attached to him, and then some weird green bars explode everywhere(it's an effect), the main problem is that THERE'S NO HITBOXES AT ALL, sorry but when I do the attack on someone they do not get hit anywhere

-Gerudor Razor, sorry but it's still the same, if you just hold A the combo comes out all fast and stuff and there's no knockback AND you can still cancel it out any time into another attack or even start the same A combo again for a cheap constant barrage of attacks, and the timing to get it working without holding A is still too small and weird that it's virtually impossible to do without just holding A

-Good news here, Uptilt works!... but it needs work, the hitbox is on Ganon's arm only, the sword just goes right through the opponent, you need to be pretty close to get it to work since the hitbox is only on Ganon's arm

-His down taunt does NOT have Metaknights voice effect, it's just him showing his sword and putting it away

-Try the spinning sword attack, it'll make him more unique and original

-Warlock Punch is overpowered, you only need to land 2 and the opponents dead, how about giving it more range and less damage on the outermost part and more damage if your closer

try this, make 3 hitboxes, one on the outermost part of the enlarged graphics effect(there currently is not one there, you still have to be pretty close to hit with the warlock Punch) and make it do 24%, then make another hitbox in the middle(closer to where the small ball of light is in the graphic effect) and make that do 32%, then give it one more hitbox basically on his hand and make that do 38%, if you get hit at that range with such a strike, you should be heavily punished, and vary the knockback between the hitboxes, obviously the weakest one should have the weakest knockback, this should make the attack more balanced

-DownB for the air sounds AWESOME :happy:, it sounds like his 4 energy ball atrike from OOT

-A Link with dualwielding swords sounds insane, I'd try to finish this project first though

wow. im an idiot. thats kinda funny acutuially
it got so messed up because i forgot to have my caps-lock on when i put in the code. sounds retarted but thats why everythings messed up (cept the down air, which is still a mystery to me)

everything that ive edited that didnt include copy/pasting got messed up in the last one. ill fix it for everyone tonight.
as for the gerudo razor, im changing it so you tap and then B consecutivly.
ill try to see if i can get Ganon to say "fight me"
and ill depower the warlock punch. that one was bad judgement on my part. im gonna increase the % given, but keep the knockback, # of hits, and physics and all that the same.
in addition, ill take a try at the sword code thing.
    ill do all that tonight. im sleeping at a friends house friday so ill actuially get to see my baby for myself for the first time. hope it doesnt suck as hard as i think it does.

btw. would any1 be opposed to having 2 diff final smashes? like if u hold L while doing it he does a diff move? his norm will be if u press B.

FS idea 1: i want to have a shadow-realm FS where he does a side be, darkness gathers around him. he grabs an opponent, and drags them inside a darkness portal, both dissapear, he then does his intro animation where he walks out of the portal. his victim has been instantly KOed. they loose a stock and respawn like normal.
not exactly "good". but VERY awesome.
FS idea #2: transform to Giga Bowser. XD
FS idea #3: Sipirit Bomb. those of u know watched DBZ know what im talking about. hands up, chargining a HUGE LASER!. laser takes 7 seconds to charge (fires on 8 ).  while hes charging up, hell be intangible (takes %, no knockback. (dont worry, i kno how to do that. i just messed up). but that sucks right?. wrong. because while hes charging he spawns dark minions to distract ur opponents. 3 Weavile (the pokemon with the red fan-head) are droped from dark portal in the air. they then go to town annoing ur opponents. until....IMFRNLZHFS.

the funny thing is. im most tempted to go with the turning into Gigabowser idea.XD

feel free to take my PSA and edit it to ur liking. i got my idea for the up smash from the Evil King PSA. its a give and take relationship. as long as u credit everyone involved on the final release, and tell every1 involved that ur releasing its cool.
i would be more then ok if u wanna make ur own changes.

btw. i want to have an air attack with the sword. i cant find any animations for his back air to have a sword. ill have to look around. that will also help for the upB. (that ive actuially been working on. its hard. might have to leave that 1 alone till i get eveything else working

IMPORTANT i did an experiment. no idea how it will react. one of his side taunts are using metaknight's voice Key to say something. (press side taunt. believe it or not, it also depends on which direction he is facing when he taunts)

the other side taunt is a whole new animation. i want to see what it looks like cuz i couldnt identify it and no1 has it labeled. tell me what he does!

    Nah your not an idiot, it's a simple mistake, I've done that too ;D

    2 Final Smashes sounds cool

    -First one actually sounds very good because his normal Final Smash is not a 1 hit KO but it hits many targets, this one would just get one target but be an instant kill, I think that's pretty balanced
    -Second one, well, would it be possible to make Giga Bowser look like Ganon's beast form from OOT and maybe give him 2 swords? That'd be insanely awesome if it could work
    -3rd one sounds insane :D, maybe have it look more like an energy ball of darkness because the spirit bomb is really only supposed to be able to be done by those with pure hearts but we all know Ganon's one evil bastard >D

    I don't know if I have the patience to learn coding but I guess I'll give it a try soon just for fun


    Now onto the FEEDBACK :kdance: :

    -Gerudo Razor....still needs work :-\, first off you have a good idea with switching the buttons, I was able to pull off 3 hits fairly easy, but a few problem remain:
  • -With the first 2 hits, they're both in the A command, that's not the problem, the problem is still the timing, it's way too specific so much that you can't get the second hit out unless you hit A and hold it, then it shoots out the second A hit
  • -The second A hit spins the opponent in the opposite direction sometimes(IDK if that was intended or not)
  • -The second A hit comes out too choppy, try to make the animation slower and smoother
  • -The 3rd hit uses B, this one actually works quite well, the animation is smooth, the problem here is that you can cancel out of it too early(NOTE I SAID EARLY NOT EASILY), you can actually cancel the third hit out right before he throws the strike but after he initiates it, it takes a little specific timing but if you do it right and cancel it out into another move, Ganondorf will slide a considerable distance and throw the attack you canceled it out with

~~~~~~~~I've managed to slide across almost half of Final Destination and do a SideSmash, it's kinda cool but it's uses are limited because if someone sees you starting your AA combo from a distance, they'll know what your up to and be prepared for that sliding strike so in the end it just makes it another glitch

~~~~~~~~That being said, I think you should still make it cancellable just much later in the animation, I've pulled off some cool combos AFTER the 3rd B strike hits, cancelling it into an upsmash or sidesmash or even downsmash for a 5 hit combo

~~~~~~~~***HOWEVR BIG NOTE HERE PAY ATTENTION***, the Third B Hit is actually WORTHLESS, just figured out why, you'll never get a hit with it because the lag time between hitting with the second A and the next B strike is too long so the enemy has time to put up a shield during the lag time between the second A strike and the B strike, the 3rd strike needs to come out a little faster for the Gerudo Razor to be possible, it's not that I'm pressing buttons too slow either, in fact I found out that you can just hold A for 1/2 second and then hit B and hold it before the second A strike comes out and the 3rd strike with B will come out automatically and it still isn't fast enough

  • -The last two hits are with A, but they are insanely hard to time, it's way too specific, I've only pulled it off twice out of like 30 tries, you need to make the timing more accessible and leave a longer input for the button commands
  • -When I did get the last 2 hits out, the did have some knockback, so that's good
  • -How about taking out one of those last 2 hits since they're both the same and the transition in animation between the fourth and last hit looks sped up and cheesy

So yeah that still needs some work, now on to more:

-DownB counter needs work, Ganondorf lost his invincibility frames, his counterattack has extremely low priority, you need to give it full priority because as it it now the counterattack can be negated by an opponents simple A strike, and there is knockback, but not enough, it needs more, and there shouldn't be knockback on the first 2 hits because at higher percentages the opponent gets knocked back too far from the first counterattack hit so the last 2 won't
***ANOTHER BIG NTOE*** Counterattack is also useless for more than just the reason of it having low priority, there too much lag between the first and second hit, the opponent can put up their shield during the lag between the first and second hit, it's the same problem as with the Gerudo Razor

-Uptilt got screwed up, the angle of the knockback is almost completely horizontal, it hits the enemy at a lower angle than his sidesmash :srs:, AND the hitbox is still on Ganon's arm which means you have to be close to get the hit off, the sword again just goes right through the opponent :>.>: yeah sorry this still needs to be fixed

-Good news here, Upthrow is almost perfect :happy:, only thing it needs it knockback buildup, it's knockback as it is now stays the same regardless of the % the enemy is at which means it won't kill anyone even at 999% damage(I checked)

-Sidesmash's farthest hitbox AND THIS HITBOX ONLY still does 36% and no knockback, should be toned down to 26% or 28% WITH knockback, the closer hitbox(where the sword actually touches) is perfect

-ForwardAir works perfectly :happy:

-BackAir... well I know your going to change it but in the meantime it only does 7% with VERY little knockback, and the knockback angle pulls the enemy TOWARDS Ganondorf :>.>: ....yeah

-The UpAir animation looks awesome :happy:, BUT there's still NO HITBOXES AT ALL :>.>palm:, and the warlock punch effect on his hand looks a little out of place

-DownAir.... is even more weird now :kdance:, it still has the teleport glitch but now something else is wrong, there's a startup time for the attack that's quite long and it's just Ganon floating into his regular DownB animation, during that time there's no hitboxes so if you do a short hop and then hit DownAir it immediately drags you to the ground without throwing out an attack because only the floating lag animation before the attack animation gets out

-Side taunt facing left is changed, it looks kinda like Metaknight's BUT there is no change to the voice effect, it's still sounds the same as the old side taunt and it still has the graphics effect of where Ganon punches his fists together making it look quite awkward

-Warlock punch is still overpowered, it still does 38% and kills if 2 are landed, try what I said in my last post if you want to have another hitbox with 38% damage because you still need to be pretty close to hit with it, the outer part of the graphics effect still does no damage

Gerudo Razor. let me clear some things up. heres my intent. i want it to be slow and linking. think Ike's AAA combo. its slow, and only 2 of the hits link together. and, since no other character has an AAAAAA combo, im making sure that not all the hits are linking. i dont want a character, who shouldnt even have any linking moves, be the only one with a sexteple A combo.  heres my intention for each hit.
inital A: wack with sword. its fine how it is. linking
A2: quick jab with the handle of the sword. stuns. just fast and weak. linking move. (thinking of changing the animation today)
A3: elbow bash. hits them. knocks them back. balence of knockback growth/ baseknockback is scewed more towards base knockback. this is to link into other moves (side B or dash attack, or warlock punch?)
A4: fast, turn around, sword swing. electric damage. stuns em. 0 knockback. 2-3 damage. automaticly sends u to A5.
A5: 2nd sword swing. normal speed. normal knockback. will send you out of the combo. it could end here. but hopefully it wont. this has MASSIVE sheildbreaking potential. that means that if your sheilding when this happens, ur sheild will break. guarenteed. this also means that it will auto-break a smashball. and because it will break sheilds so well, it enables you to use A6.
A6: up tilt sword animation. darkness effect. GREAT knockback growth, lousy base knockback. that means that. yes, this is a KO move. at the same time, no this is not a move you do to stack up damage. this is souly a move to finish off some1. the attack will do like 5% only. but o baby it will send you flying. (its 1.5 times a warlock punch's knockback growth.) that means that my goal is to make it able to KO around 75%

no, what i wanted to see what animation he did. like what did he do and what did he look like in the taunt. ill leave it in the mean time. describe what he does.

ok so heres the deal with the down B. im making him invincible for a whole second no % or knockback. invincibility will start right away to make it actuially usable. in this sense, it will be better then marth or ike's but u still have to command it so id say it evens out. well not really, ganon's will still be worse, but thats ok cuz he shouldnt have a better counter then marth or ike anyway. the counterattack will be able to be used 20frames into it (keep in mind that 66 frams is about a second.).basicly, hell be able to counterattack once his sword is drawn. and yes, you cannot cancel out of the move until this point.
then u can release B and start the counterattack. either u go thru with the ENTIRE conterattack, or u dont go thru with it. ganon will have to finish the whole taunt animation before you can do stuff again. that way you cant just quickly do a down be to block an attack and then go about ur buiseness, or do a downB counterattack right away. nope. not how the move works. sry.

opps my bad. ill try to fix the B move. its hard to find the messed up hitbox. theres so many in the special moves, its hard.

i think i addressed everything...

o yeah. i decided on the 1st alternate final smash. btw IT WILL BE HARD TO HIT WITH. i really cant help that, sorry. but w/e id still use it XD

and no, i cant do a thing to gigabowser. its Bowser's final smash. the only thing i can do is link him to that address. but even then, i wont be linking to bowser's gigabowser, but to the gigabowser that there are codes to link to if you select random or something. basicly, its a characterswap, using the parameters of Bowser's FS.
i honestly cant edit A THING about the final smashes. seriously, it crashes the game is you mess with ANYTHING. the only thing you can do is deleate it and make a new one, or have a subroute to link it to an alternative move.

so no, neither beast ganon nor gigabowser will EVER weild Ganon's dual light swords. :(

Ok I didn't know what your intention was for the Gerudo Razor, that sounds good cause if the opponent puts up a shield on the 3rd hit, you can just cancel to a grab, so will all the non-linking moves be cancellable to give more options?

Yeah the animation on the second A comes out a little choppy, try to make it smoother it if you can. And the only other thing about that is it spins the enemy around sometimes.

Good idea on 3rd hit, it's fine and everything as it is, BUT one thing needs to be changed, you can cancel out of the move too early, like I said if you cancel at the right time it'll make Ganondorf slide a good distance and do whatever move you cancelled it with, that's the only fixing it needs, just make the cancel window a little later.

4th and 5th hits sound good, the animation is the only thing that needs work there.

6th hit sounds great, if someone was bad enough to get caught by that 5th hit then they deserve the 6th :D.

Overall though it needs some work in the area of the timing of the moves(especially this part, it's still way too awkward timing), the animation smoothness, and cancel frame windows.

Alright for his side taunt he bends over a bit and then raises up outstretching both arm like he's letting out a big evil laugh(or sparta yell ;D) and then he goes back to his standing animation, the whole thing is only a little choppy but it's not too noticeable, the weird thing is his graphics effect from his regular side taunt when he smashed his hands is still there and so is the sound clip from his regular side taunt

Good idea for the DownB, that way this guy won't be overpowered, the fact that you have to command the counterattck gives more options while still making the timing dependent on the player's abilities meaning it'll take some skill to use properly

Maybe you should drop the 11 second possible hold though, now that I think about it, if you hold that counter animation, no ones gonna go near you lol then the enemy will just have time to charge something up or think of a new strategy

Don't forget the DownB for the air and spinning sword attack for UpB on the ground, the ideas sounded so epic :D

Yea, the B move needs to be toned down a little, or changed like I stated earlier so it'll be balanced if you still want a 38% hitbox, it should be like right on Ganon's hand, and you should put hitboxes on the outer part of the graphics effect, like I said you still need to be pretty close to hit with it, but on the outer edge give it less damage and knockback to even stuff out

Good choice on the alternate Final Smash it'll even things out :kdance: especially if it's hard to hit with then because you'll have to be wary of that if you decide to use that Final Smash

Too bad about giving Giga Bowser dual wielding swords lol sounded awesome but I know there's limits to coding but honestly the alternate Final Smash you chose sounds more balanced and overall better suited

K I'll try playing around with soem coding, I'll have to wait till late tomorrow or Sunday though I'm gonna be busy during the day tomorrow

There's plenty of Ganon textures out there, I got some cool ones, I could send you them if you want

the only ganon textures ive seen are the ones on the texture gallery, and those are limited.

ull have to play around with alot of coding. turns out that the screwdriver i bought doesnt fit the wii. to be honest, idk how long its gonna take before ill be able to try ganon out. in reallity, i could finish this thing in like 2-3 hours if i had a game to look at. but sense im literally doing this blind, i highly doubt that I will be able to finish this anytime soon. ill still look at the feedback, tweak/ change things, and update everyday (if i can). but to be honest, this is gonna get really hard when it comes to smoothing it out. so how about this. ill finish the all the coding for all the moves (including the down B, final smash, back air, new up B, and working versions for all of them.) then ill have to leave it up to someone else to edit the moves to be balenced. there is absolutly no way that i can do that part w/o a game. ill have all the hitboxes existing and all the animations done and everything coded and stuff corectly, but it will be up to that person to assign %s, knockbacks, timings, ect.
theres no way around that.
therefore, i will fix the up air and up tilt to the best of my ability, make all the missing moves, and code everything properly. ill have to pass the torch on this one. im sorry, but its just not realistic.

you can take full responsibility for it, just make sure to credit me. i just want ppl 2 be able to use it.

i didnt get to look at my baby tonight cuz marvel ultimate alliance is SUCH A LONG GAME. we played for like 14 hours (over 2 nights), and we're STILL not done. what is this, a zelda game?

Sorry to say not much has changed, ok everything from my last post besides what I list here still applies

-UpAir, I SPY A HITBOX! :af2:, however there's only one, and it's at the very end of the attack when the green bars explosion effect shoots out , there's a small fire explosion close to Ganon's hand, it does 15% and IT HAS KNOCKBACK BUILDUP :kdance:, there's nothing wrong with this hitbox, all you need to do is get the others working
-SideSmash is ALMOST FIXED, you changed the damage from the very end hitbox to 29%, great move, but thar be no knockback, that's all it needs and then sidesmash is gold
-Nothings changed with downB, there's no invincibility frames, counterattack still comes out without being hit, etc. all problems from my last post still apply
-All taunts have reverted to the originals
-Uptilt, still no hitboxes on the sword, only on Ganon's arm, there are a few hitboxes though that vary in angle trajectory, would be good if hitboxes were on the sword
-Final Smash is the same


EVERYTHING ELSE FROM MY LAST POST BESIDES WHAT I STATED ABOVE STILL APPLIES, REMEMBER THIS

ok sweet, we have 1 hitbox on the up air. now i know what i need to do to the others.
i guess its not visible on the final smash (made him reappear out of a darkness portal)

-Yea, for some reason you messed up the knockback on his upair, now it viciously spikes downward :>.>:, it was perfect before :-X please change it back
-Ok, very strange thing with the DownB, you got the super-armor working, but it only works when he's throwing the counterattack, it doesn't work in the starting animation before that
-Also with DownB, only the last(3rd) hit on the counterattack has any hitboxes now
-Again with the DownB, didn't say before but with the starting animation, he doesn't even get to show his sword before he automatically goes to the counter attack
-Final Smash still the original

Besides that, again everything else is the same, I hate to put it bluntly, but you kinda just messed a few things up :>.>palm:

Also, just a thought, that last hitbox on his Sidesmash, maybe you should just get rid of it, I've noticed it gives Ganon some insane range even though there's no knockback, but it's a nasty damage builder


One last thing, hey if you're sick I wouldn't even bother with this right now, get better first K? ;D

yeah. heres a link to the previous version. i didnt replace cuz i was woried id mess it up.  btw NO WAY MWAHAHAH! i put a spike in the up air just for fun. i put the size as .1   . haha. well u cant argue with results. im just curious about his up tilt. if it didnt work on that version, then it pains me to say it, but i might have to get rid of the sparta kick :(. i guess ill make his sparta kick his new down tilt.
down air is sucking hard. im thinking about giving him a new one entirely. dont worry ill make it similar
i forgot about the auto on the counter! i know how to fix that! i just assumed that i did it haha.


in the final version, he is loosing Warlock punch mid air. (cant start it mid air.) instead hes gonna be given that charge range move i mentioned earlier (not the electric sword one). hes gonna aim it digonally downwards, but, it will also slow his fall. (mabe put him into freefall? need to see how good it is).
but thats a ways away.

to be perfectly honest, im not sure where that final hitbox is located in his side smash. as of right now, they are all set as the same thing, only at diff x-offsets. idkwtf is up.

my next move is to get incontact with the guy that made the Soren PSA (check it out. it looks badass). he made marth keep his sword in its sheath. thats a specific code which he manipulated and produced via PSA alone. i need to see if he can help me get those gannon codes working in the same way.

to be honest, im really at a (http://i0.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed/000/143/193/cad-20080602-358b1.jpg?1309710446) as to how to make the spinning sword. right now, i made something, but i have a feeling it will look like a stupider version of Ike's Ether.

-No sparta kick? Oh well if it has to be done just so his Uptilt will hit with the sword I'd say go for it because it seems too much of a glitch to just ignore

-New Down tilt? his regular one is in both versions you just released, unless you mean your idea for a new one

-Yeah Down air just won't seem to work, hey if you want the move to be better, sometimes you gotta change it, just an alternate idea if you can't make something similar, maybe replicate his downward ground dtrike from OOT, give it sheik's DownAir momentum and have it shoot out ground waves on impact for range, getting the downward punching motion would probably be hard I'm assuming

-Replacement for warlock punch sounds great, any possibility of being able to aim it like Link's boomerang, ya know cause sometimes the enemy's gonna be at equal height or higher

-For his sidesmash, really? That hitbox I'm referring to is actually past the tip of the blade, you hit them with an invisible hitbox and it's a noticeable distance from the tip of the blade, you did manage to change the damage to 29% though so that's good, only problem is no knockback

-Don't give up on the spinning sword just yet, it would be so badass >D, it's just gonna be a process of trial and error, don't worry I'm here to explain in detail how it works

yeah sadly the uptilt will only have the sword swing command on the side tilt command. it wont let me coppy and paste. ill try to manually transfer, but thats allot of numbers. ill try it out anyway. if it doesnt work then bye bye sparta kick.

so the uptilt will be his new foward tilt.
his foward tilt (sparta kick), will be the new down tilt
up tilt will be an over-head sword slash. fast and weak. mainly for combos.
OR, something creative. idk. lol
              if sparta kick is a down tilt, ill have to change the hitbox's size. (like Ragna Ike's down tilt kick) otherwise some1 could just duck and be invulnerable to ganon.

thats a really really good idea about the new B. i can just see how its coded in the boomerang. btw what would be better is adding A NEW MOVE. an A+B move. when A+B are both simultaneously pressed, does the range move. that sounds good, except it means that computer ganondorfs would have no range (boo hoo)

ive got an idea on how to fix the down air, if that doesnt work, then you gave me a very good idea. hell use his vBrawl animation, only with the purple foot effect and whatnot, increase downward gravity and make it constant damage. would work, im just afraid itlly look stupid. ive got an idea on how to fix it. im just gonna make it say go to the downB animation, and fix everything in it. no bells or whistles, copy and paste, or replicaitons.

i changed one of the side taunts (remember it depends on the direction you face). him yelling and burning with dark flames. gonna change the sound effect to his beast ganon roar. XD

btw im holding off on final smashes. i found something WAY TOO AWESOME. its where you only have to transform a PART of Ganondorf into Beast ganon. you can give him Beast Ganon's Arm or Head or something. sounds too good to be true. it probably is. final smash alterations are near impossible so i highly doubt it would work. but if it did work... OMGZ!!!!! AWESOMENESSS!!!!!!!

enough drooling. if i have time ill try to get on getting a working copy for you to make a vid of for me. that would help SO much.

the problem with the sword spin is i cant find any ganon animations that resemble what he does in Wind Waker or Twilight Princess. theres only a few more sword animations i havent used, none of them fit. :(

thats the same problem with his back air. there are no sword swing animations that go backwards. idk how to reverse the direction of teh character.

ill put the back air back to normal, however, knockback will do straight horizontal. base knockback. thats good cuz it sets up combos cuz u can predict exactly where ur enemy will be. its bad cuz u will NOT be able to KO with it.
i think that kinda compensates for his beefed up  upair move.
also, Fair is gonna have a small angle change. if done as aproaching the ground (where he slams his fist against the ground), itll cause a shockwave that burrys opponents (like DK's side B only alittle weaker)
this sounds good. aside from the final smash ideas, the end is in sight. at least for my part. ill still need tweakers.

ill see what i can do about the side smash cuz that is bad

XD Sanity!!!!!! BTW for the Half Beast Ganon just do a Bass from BN6 kinda thing...where Bass' arm/buster turns into Greiga's head and fires a Laser!!!! just make Ganon's head appear on Ganondorf's arm and fire a dark energy ball(that looks like Pikachu's FS) then explodes in a Nova Bomb(the item u throw that explodes into a supernove kinda thing)....XD THE AWESOMENESS!!!!!!!!!!!

As for Backair, no problem, although I remember one of Ganon's moves in TP he would dash at you, smack away your shield then do some attack, maybe make his BackAir break shields and give him a little momentum in that direction, would be clever and dangerous, to make it balanced make it so when it hits an opponent instead of their shield it does little damage and knockback, is this even possible? Just throwing out ideas

good idea. but to be honest, I already beasted out 3/5 of his air moves. i think thats a good way to leave it. ive been working on this for 2 hours but i got it. i learned how to use Bit variables (i hope) and used them to fix all his moves. i was able to KEEP the sparta kick and (hopefully) fix the up tilt. also, down air, up air, foward air, up throw, foward smash,  back air, side taunt, the new Down B move, and Gerudo Razor hits 1,2,3,4, and 6 were edited and fixed. hit 5 was taken out.

everything was fixed up and is alot better (im hoping)

gerudo razor is done by doing AABAB. or u can hold A then BAB
i think i got the timing down. i hope i got the timing down.

down B seems great

new side smash move. if you use the C stick, he will do a diff move then if he charges it XD. awesome.

whew. you better love it.
it better work lol.

wow that was alot of work. but now im alot better at coding so thats a plus :)

K... Uh first off, bad news, Sidetilt, Sidesmash, Running A, and uptilt all make the wii freeze :>.>:....... yeah the attack doesn't come out, just freezes

Normal Ganon is a clone of Captain Falcon :af:, sure they changed a few small things but he's still basically the same, this Ganon feels more legit ;D

i cant stand norm ganon. 2 predictable. i just wanted to give him some variety.

anyway, heres the fix, i think i got it down.  if not, it could be that the bitvariables i used are being used by the game already. if so, then  its trail and error till we find 4 #s not used by the wii.

Ok sorry this took so long, but Flash went on the fritz so I couldn't get to any uploading sites, or any sites that use flash for that matter :srs:, tried reinstalling flash, that didn't work :>.>:, tried reinstalling firefox, lost all my bookmarks and still didn't work :>.>palm:, I was getting very pissed off until I found out Quicktime was trying to grab the flash files and play them even though they couldn't :notimp:

I'm so pissed  :af: it's 3 AM I wanted to be asleep by 12 the latest

BTW some weird things are in there, here's a little reference list for when you watch the video:

-Ganon's uptaunt facing left has very large graphics while facing right with the uptaunt they're small :af:

-I know you can't hear it but when I do the AA combo a sound clip of his side taunt plays :srs:..... every time

-I cannot for the life of me get the 4th hit in the A combo string to work, right after I throw out the elbow all it does is restart at the first A hit, and if I cancel out the elbow at the right time, ganon slides.... you'll see it

-The next move I'm doing after trying the A combo is the side tilt, it has the same animation as your old uptilt.... no hitboxes :-X

-The move I do after that is the sidesmash by smashing Left/Right and A, he does some weird dash then teleports back and tries to do his regular sidesmash but it won't hit, charging it doesn't help :af:

-Ok next is the sidesmash with the C-Stick, now look at the first time I do it, the sword goes right through her @1:28, but the next time I try, it works....  :>.>: I got no clue on this one, cool blue fire effects though, one heavy thing to note is that you DID manage to get rid of that hitbox past the tip of the sword with the C-Stick sidesmash :kdance:

-@2:06 is when I start trying the uptilt, it starts off the same as the old and then cancels into a sparta kick

-@2:23 I'm just tryin to show you 2 things, 1 is that you still have to be pretty close to hit with the warlock punch(edge of the graphics have no hitboxes), and 2, it's still overpowered... it kills Peach in 1 hit :srs:

-DownB is roughly the same, If I don't hold B the counterattack automatically comes out, but if I do, then he doesn't counterattack at all, even if I let go halfway through, and also, counterattack has no priority, Peach's slaps negate the counterattack @3:30 :>.>:

-Around 3:50 is the downair

-@3:58, Ganon's Forwardair goes right through Peach :af:, theres no hitboxes on the inside of his arm(IDK if that was intentional)

-BackAir works good :kdance:

-no hitboxes on upair until the explosion, but it's still awesome :happy:

-@5:04, Ganon has no charging effects for his Warlock Punch if I start it in the air

-@5:37 things start getting weird, Peach goes SAKURAI!!!!!!!!ing flying, and I'm like :srs:, that didn't happen with Bowser, and... well you see the rest for yourself the swords changes things... but you're always gonna be using it so....IDK its weird, it seems like the knockback varies greatly depending on the opponents gravity

-@6:50, I do the running A, sry I forgot about it earlier, no hitboxes :-X

Sorry about the end, my wii froze, it happens after doing the upthrow after a while

thanks that video helped alot. i synked his side a with the wrong moves (before i figured out bitvariables, i would make capys of all his moves only with altered hitboxes ect. there were alot with similar names.) and because i synked that one to the wrong move, that messed up the order of all the other ones. (im talking about up tilt and side tilt. this also explains the blue fire on the sword hit. that was supposed to be only on the counterattack. like i said, things got messed up. but ur right, it does look pretty cool. i might just keep it :) )

this definitly explained exactly whats happening with the up throw. it turns out that none of the hitboxes that Ive been editing recently have been doing a thing. (cuz this move was reverse engineered of the villian of time PSA, the hitboxes are working in differnt ways. i prefer to use offensive collisions whereas this 1 uses bones and special collisions.) anyway, a few weeks ago or whenever, i made it so it spiked you downward so that all the hits would work. i forgot that I had done this and changed the knockback rediculously high (remember the Lol phase when it would kill every time?) the only reason it doesnt kill now is because its hiting them downward, making them bounce off the ground. thats why characters fly to different heights. cuz every character has diff resistence to bouncing on the ground, they would fly at diff heights. im glad to know that the stun at the end of the knockback worked to stop their momentum. finially an origonal idea that works lol.
as for the sword making a difference, i honestly cant explain it. the truth of the matter is that i never thought anyone would play this Psa in training mode. i just assumed that it would be used via brawl, therefore i made him draw his sword on his entry pose (not existent in training mode).

now that I can see the PSA in action, i can see i went over with the darkness flame effect. it really takes away from his standing 2 animation and up air. it really really distracts from the up air. id say that without the darkness flames on him and just the darkness blast, its perfect.

im keeping the flames on Foward air.
i didnt make a single change to where his foward air hitboxes are. its always been like that. lol
btw its exactly how i wanted it with the knockback and the effects :) yay.

yeah that was poor judgment on my part with regards to his foward smash. i jsut messed up with the programing. that wasnt a very good idea, i think i know a better way to do it.

as for the gerudo Razor, im not sure why it wasnt working. mabe that bitvariable is already in use by the game? i doubt it, but mabe thats it. i honestly dont see anything wrong with the programing there. ill have to look more carefully :-/
down B, same as above.
forgot to keep adding the intangible event for the downB.
and as for the wierd glitch at the end of the down B, thats because i forgot to change the fact that hes supposed to go to that pose at the end of his vBrawl downB (where he stops after his dark foot thing). ill take that out, compleatly slipped my mind.

yup
what im really worried about is the freezing tho. i dont know why it froze. thats really really bad because its one thing to have a bad PSA, its another to have a non-working PSA. ill tinker around a bit.

if you have any theorys about the freezing plz tell me cuz im stumped. its a priority issue with this PSA.

Honestly I have no idea about the freezing, all I know is that it's linked to his upthrow, doing it several times almost guarantees a freeze but if I stay away from it then everything's good

Also, don't forget about adding priority to the counterattack, if Peach can slap Ganon's sword and stop it we know we have a problem :srs:

You didn't put me through anything, I have absolutely no problem making these videos, in fact I want to do it to help out cause this PSA is awesome, it wasn't your fault, it was Quicktime.... stupid Apple :notimp:

But I'm glad the videos help, better than just working off my explanations and smiley faces :af:

Oh yeah and your Ganon PSA works fine in Brawls, training mode just helps in determining knockback growth and if there is any easier

OK  heres the PSA update. im impressed with myself, i think it was pretty clever programing. i hope it works lol. (like a 5% chance itll freeze as soon as u start the game. idk if theres a limit on howmany bitvariables can be assigned to a single action.)
i fixed everything except the adding priority to the down B. (SORRY!). its just a matter of making sure this works, then we can add more things to it. unlike the earlier versions, this PSA uses the same moves as origonal ganon, only with variables, requirements, and if/else commands. my hope is that i can make it so you can play as norm ganon if you dont have the sword code on, and if you do, itll play as mine. but thats for the not too distant future.

try this out. if the down B is working fine, then i wont be afraid to add mroe variables to have 'priority'.

fixed stupid things on the graphics
fixed his sword skills
new thing. if you down taunt, ur sword will grow red untill the next 1-5 hits you make. do it mid battle to start dueling with a blood-sword. DownB also triggers the red sword.

as you probably already noticed, phantom wings had any flash overlay remain in the sword after it has been terminated (like if u use his B move, his sword will be purple)

seeing ganon in a brawl match would be better because i would see how a player would react to diff moves. also id get to see his intro. in addition, im not 100% sure that the coding matches up 100% in both modes. i remember dark samus only worked in training  mode and froze in brawl during the beta stages.

And I used Ganon in brawl match, I just played player 1 + 2 :kdance:

Having Ganon only switch if he takes out his sword sounds awesome :happy:

Few things to note on the movie:

-Ganon still makes his side taunt sounds when doing AA combo

-Blood sword color works, but switches back to normal if I do a standing dodge or a roll dodge

-FAIL @ 1:50  :af: not a good idea to do lol(just me being stupid)

-@2:05 I start testing the sword color change @2:29 you should see the difference

-@2:46 is side tilt... and my phone ringing :af:

-@2:56 is sidesmash by A+direction no hitboxes :-X

-@3:09 I start testing sidesmash by C-Stick, now this is weird, if I just tap the direction it works, without hitboxes but the attack comes out, but if I hit the C-stick in a direction and hold it in that direction, the attack cancels out or something, it's the first thing you see

-@3:40 is uptilt

-@5:20 im testing downair knockback buildup

-Upair lost fancy darkness flames on Ganon, IDK if it was intentional

-forgot to test warlock punch in air sorry

-@6:54 is running A, it works :kdance: has nice range too, AND HAS KNOCKBACK BUILDUP I JUST CHECKED :happy: it will kill at high %s

-and as you can unfortunately see, upthrow is still messed up

you managed to fix a few things though, keep it up

yay i got some things perfected.
but OMG WTF!!! FML!!!!  his sword moves didnt work? SAKURAI!!!!!!!!!!! it took me forever to recode those. i was so proud of myself too  :'(
o well,
i think ill just simplify it just to get it working so itll be playable while im fine-tuning it to perfection
what the sword malfunction means is that the bitvariables will play the compleate subaction of the animation before going to the place they are told to. thats a very interesting find. ill try something else with the sparta kick. i might have to tinker around...oy

the fact that the dash attack is working reveals that im using the variants of the bitvariable correctly and that they are working correctly. thats good.

basicly, i think ill just rework his sword moves to be simpiler and easier. this unfortunatly means that i can only assign one powerlevel per move. therefore, since i want his sword-dash attack for his side smash, that means that whenever ill do a sword dash attack, itll do the same damage as a side smash. that could be bad. what do you think? would that be too broken?
ill keep the C stick as the sword swing attack, but this also means that ill have to change the animations for the downB and Gerudo Razor. i think ill have it where the end of the Gerudo Razor is his uptilt animation, and the end of the Down B will be the sword swing. or the other way around. the problem with this whole thing is that i can only have one value set per animation, regardless of the variables i use. this isnt a fact of the matter, i just think im doing it wrong because the new Soren PSA character can use bitvariables correctly. im just messing up a i guess. idk what im doing wrong, but its definitly something wrong with how im doing it.

im glad to say that i got the timing and spacing and whatnot for his Gerudo Razor EXACTLY as I wanted it. thats great news  :af:
also for awesome wins, the up air is working perfectly in every sense (might want to change the green lines to something else tho) :kdance:
F air is PERFECT in every way :)
Back Air is fine.
down Air is perfect!  :D (adding a new down B will be one of the last things added to this PSA.)
up Throw is exactly how I want it. it sends them exactly where you want them to be so you can combo them with an air attack or upB or suicide side B ('Ganocide' as it is known). its perfect. all i want to do is add a lightning bolt coming down on the hit. o and making it so it doesnt freeze.  r)
up smash is good. ill just add a sweetspot at the tip of the sword and its perfect.  :angel:

 
dont worry, ill have it go to the sword attack.
but mabe this wasnt the codes fault. u do know that on the elbow attack, ur supposed to press A right? this goes for the counterattack too. that could be the reason u didnt go to it in the video, cuz i didnt hear u press the button.
 come to think of it, thats not fair to the player to make the downB need more commands. ill make it auto on the down B. my bad

as for clarifications:
yeah I took off the flames on the up air, i thought it was distracting from the animation. what do you think?
i cant tell but what sounds are in his up air? it sounded like he was laughing? is that true or is that just the sound quality bugging out there?
the color change was ment to be temporary. so yeah its intentional that the red or purple go away after a while or after a sheild or something. thats fine.
like i said earlier, you have to press A (mabe it was B. i think it was A tho. anyway its 1 of those) during the elbow hit of the Down B or Gerudo Razor
the side-taunt sound on his second A was intentional. its a sound effect for hit fist hitting the person. is it good? should i take it out?
im keeping the slide if you DI out of the Gerudo Razor. its cool and usable to trick your opponent.
yeah thats exactly what i needed to see as far as setup goes. i needed to see how his moves affect a large character and a light character in a Brawl match. against a P2 was a good idea. keep doing that. but next time add a third try against Pikachu. i also need to see how his moves affect small characters. for all i know, the hits could be going over Pikachu's head.

heres what ill do for the next update (later today)
change the intro pose. ive got a baddass idea. XD
fix the sword moves. make them similer and usable. they wont be balenced at first, thatll take some tweaking, but at least they will work. they might loook alittle different cuz im changing where the animations go.
im changing his side smash to the lunge attack. this means that his dash attack will be the equivilent to an uncharged side smash (1 step above a C-stick flick). might be cool. might be overpowered. you'll have to be the judge of that. ;D
        because im not COMPLEATLY sure how to do this, theres a chance that itll do the swing animation w/ no hitboxes THEN go to the new side smash. if this happens, i apologize in advance :>.>palm:
up tilt will work, and will be a genuinly good move. powerful in both senses. alittle more knockback than his sparta kick.
ill try something with the sparta kick. i think itll work but no guarentees. if not, then ill try to fix it in the next update.
im keeping the SFX on the Gerudo razor for now. also, im double checking and making sure that the last hits work.
ill make his DownB not require you to press A during the elbow move.
I'll TRY to fix his down B to not have the wierd animation after each use. i thought i fixed that, i guess i didnt. which means, i deleated something that wasnt supposed to be deleated. :-X. be careful!
change the green line graphic on his up Air (tell me which one u prefered. u be the judge.)
lightning bolt on the hit of the up throw. idk why its freezing. tell me if it keeps happening. :-[

after this update (assuming i dont mess up his swords), ill be ready to call this the Beta and release in a new post! XD  the final will have invincibility in the counter, a custom alternative final smash, be able to be played as normal ganon if you dont have the sword code activated or (optimisticly but not realisticly) not require the sword code at all. also optimisticly, itll have a sword spin alt up B if performed on the ground. in addition, itll have a new arial down B, and , of corse, all the kinks worked out and perfect. thats the goal for the grand release.

things to do before release of the Beta: fix sword moves, perfect gerudo razor, fix freezing on the up throw, and fix his Warlock punch (im having trouble fixing it. ill fix it later tho. >D)

its fine :) .
yeah the dark samus that was released (look on smashboards. i know they're behind when it comes to PSA, but all the finished releases are posted there first). during its beta stages, it would only work on the training mode.  cuz technicly, its a 1 player mode. im not sure why this makes a difference, but it definitly does.
             
another request (besides s many ppl as possible giving feedback), find a sound effect to put as the ganon's sword hit sound effect. i dont like the beamsword sound. the sound effect would have to be from another character (w/o items just one of their A, air, dash, throw, victory, or taunt moves. has to be from a character). tell me the sound effect sound. sound it out for me. ex: "swooosh" or "c'tink!" . tell me which character it belonged too, and which move was done to create the sound. also tell me which of ganon's sword moves would it go the best on.

btw im done doing this by late october-november. by november, even if im not done, im not gonna be doing this at all anymore. college apps. so ive got a month to finish this like i promised and send it on its way. i enjoy doing this and everything, but i have other commitments. but because i promised, ill try my hardest to finish this before then. thats why im trying as hard as i can to finish this asap. theres a better- than average chance that ill release the Beta and not have time to finish it for a grand release. in that case, ill hand it off to anyone and everyone to finish for the final. include what i said in the previous post. refer to the previous post as for what needs to be done before the beta release.

btw. around mid december - june i will have A TON of free time. (2nd simester senior year in high school. ive heard its a breeze).  when that happens, ill get back into PSA, but ill be doing diff projects. this includes (but not limited to) V from V for Vendetta, jedi fox, Sly cooper Lucario, Wind Waker toon link (deku leaf), Badass wolf (wolf only faster runing speed. move visually apealing. hes my main so i wont change his moves or how they work. ill just change the animations to make him look 'Badass'. and my fav and most anticipated project is the new Falco Final Smash (for fox, it can be an optional alternative Final Smash.) where they jump in an Arwing! and of corse, by then itll be perfected with model hacking, to make MAster cheif.

but enough about the future. ill do that update.

new extended intro animation. hope u like it.
changed some effects, and i DID NOT change the swords to simpiler ones. i tweaked the way i had it before. i really think it will work. im not getting why it doesnt work.
once counterattack activated, goes straight thru attacks without haveing to press A after the elbow bash.
i changed Gerudo Razor! now its A for 1st hit, B for 2nd hit, A+B(together) for 3rd hit. release for 4th hit.

up smash now has a spike point at (what i hope is) the tip of the sword. when hit by it, does very little base knockback, but a TON of knockback growth. so if hit by it with low %s, will hardly go anywhere, if hit at (idk around 70%?), you will go flying. it does 3%. i like it.
              also changed up smash from electric to darkness.
now the only electric moves ganon has are his up B and his up Throw.
up throw is hopefully fixed.
tell me what everything does!

the only difference is how i coded them. one using bitvariables, the other thru mad PSA skillz. this way we can see easily which 1 works. in the event that they both work (doubtful), then ull notice that the side smash will be stronger on one of them. same goes for the dash. (which will be WEAKER then the Smash :D yay)
this was difficult to do...to say the least.
ganon why does ur warlock punch mock me so?

bugs still to fix: warlock punch, super armor on down B, arial down B, up throw.

So far I've noticed:
1. Side Smash has no hitbox
2. Side tilt has not hitbox and is crazy spammable.
3. There's no Sparta kick (this is one of the few attacks that was actually in TP)
4. Up Taunt still has same effects as old taunt.
5. Up Air is hard to hit with.
6. Reverse and Aerial Warlock Punches have no effects.
7. Down B doesn't do anything.

Hope that helps. Also, are you going to change his aerial Down B, or revert his Down Air? It seems unnecessary having 2 identical moves.

Other than that, awesome sauce.

which one did you try? did you take the one listed on the first page or the one in the link two posts ago? no sparta kick is bad news bears. it means that the if variable i used was off. i can fix that easy tho. once again please tell me which 1 ur reffering to.
i know that the side smash had no hit boxes in the one on the first post, but i changed other things.

airial down B will be put to an entirely new move. im waiting to get other things working before bothering.

down B is a counter that activates when you let go of B and press and hold it. ull take %, but no knockback durring the whole pose, about 2 seconds. its like 4 times as long as a real counter, but u have to manually activate it and ull take the %.

one note about the side smash and dash attack of the newest post. durring a dash attack, you must keep holding the direction when pressing A. I do this automaticly, but idk how other players play, so that might actuially make a difference.

make sure to try out the newest one in the previous post, not on the main page.

You could always use a backup file and copy it and if you don't have one you can use the ones you uploaded earlier and copy and paste
the problem is that the moves were on diff comands. Phantom Wing's code puts the upercut slash as the side A, however, i want it as the up A so he can have the sparta kick. HOWEVER, i cant transfer the ExternalSubRoutine: name=gameAnim_CmdSwordSwingDashCommon   . when i try to copy it, it doesnt work. i cant re-create it either. it seems that it will only work on subaction 122. therefore, i put If commands to lead it to subaction 50 (sparta kick). however, since the upercut slash animation would hapen before the change to the sparta kick, i increased fram speed by x8, then change to subaction 50 where i would be changed back to x1. it would be changed to x1 immediatly if used as the up tilt, which sends the command to subacction 122, uppercut slash.

i did loopholes and whatnot with everything. its not a matter of going back to a previous version, its a matter of making the previous version wok in a new way.

in a worst case sinerio, i will be forced to put sparta kick as a down tilt, sword uppercut as a side tilt, and something entirely new as an up tilt. then i would have to edit all the sword moves and it would look bad and play worse.

Woah, hold up there I've been busy the past few days but I plan on testing the new versions out and making videos today

All I need is for you to copy the links to all the versions you want to test and put a label next to each link so I know which version is which, like so:

? you press A for the 1st 2 hits, B for the 3rd, A and B @ the same time for the 4th hit of the combo.

this is the gamecube controls. sry for the mixup. i guess that might be a problem if ur using a wiimote cuz isnt grab a+b for the wiimote?

I'm using Verson 2 from this comment.

Your side smash is super glitchy. It works when fully and minimally charged. However, if you let go at a normal time, he'll dash across the stage (like a super deadly version of Ike's side B) and won't stop until you cancel with some other button.

Side Smash is awesome, but still WAAAAYYYYY too over powered. I think it's the swing animation. Side Tilt still doesn't have a hitbox. I haven't tried Up Tilt. His "counter" down B is good Super Armor, but you still take damage, and there's no attack after being hit. There's still some beam sword noises here and there, but those aren't too important, and I don't know if those are fixable. He still doesn't have Sparta kick, and I think his walking (not dashing) is slower than usual. For a blind project though, this is amazing. I feel sorry for you not having your Wii.

Ok, VERY interesting updates, both are great, you've made some nice improvements, one of your best updates by far, there's only slight differences between 1 and 2, the only thing really messed up on both are Sidesmashes, they're very cool, but need some major fixing

VERSION 1 NOTES
-@0:36, first thing to note, he is very slow at walking now, IDK if this was intentional, if it was, well I mean it would make him seem more badass if he had the walking animation from Twilight Princess but, here it seems a little out of place

-@1:03 as you can see, if you cancel out the elbow right, you can slide a good distance

-@2:00 OMFG I GOT GERUDO RAZOR TO WORK!! :happy: you can tell by my reaction in the video lol, you have to hit A then hold it for second hit, then hit B, then hit A+B(for both versions), but 2 problems, 1 is that it's very hard to pull off, pressing A+B at the right time, nice concept but it's just not convenient at all, and 2 is that you'll probably never get a hit with it because it's too slow, we don't want it super fast but a tiny speedup wouldn't hurt

-About Gerudo Razor, the punching sound effect for the second hit fits in much better this time, I say keep it, and as you can see I spend quite some time trying out the Gerudo Razor cause it was awesome, but it's just so hard to pull off

-@2:20 I do the Gerudo Razor again, but for some reason at the end, a 5th hit comes out very fast and glitchy like, I'd take that out if possible

-Also about Gerudo razor, the second hit sometimes turns the enemy around, IDK if this was intentional, seems a little weird

-@2:57 doin a dance :kdance: lol

-@5:40 I FINALLY get to trying the side tilt, I mess up and do the running A first, yea the side tilt comes out very fast, no hitboxes, and like... no lag at all lol

-@6:00 I try the sidesmash, no hitboxes BUT you did change the sound effect for the swing, it sounds much better than the beam sword sound, try to change the sound on all the sword attacks... its cool

-@6:16 things get very weird, if use the C-stick and hold the direction with the C-stick, it does... that, whatever that charging attack is, it's kinda cool, it would be insanely awesome if you could slow down his steps, another thing is it's very overpowered with insane range and sword does no damage the damage is from a hitbox far in front of him, but as it is... it looks kinda funny... I couldn't help but laugh a little :af:, but I know how awesome it could be :kdance:

-@8:00 I FINALLY get to the uptilt, sorry but the sidesmash thingy was too much fun :af:, yeah no hitboxes... and it comes out very fast

-@8:09 Upsmash just got way cooler, awesome darkness effects :happy:, looks too awesome, keep it ;D

-@8:20 running A is working fine

-@8:46 backair is fine

-@8:53 downair is fine

-@9:15 Upthrow is still the same, you'll see it when I throw Peach at the end of the video, also, upair works, but is very hard to hit with, no offense but it's not a move I'd use regularly as it can be punished very easily, the hitbox just comes out way too late, by that time someone could've whacked you twice, maybe have the hitbox and effects come out earlier and let him spin around after the attack, because that animation is cool, just needs to come out quicker

-@9:46, still problems on the uptaunts, one facing right has small effects, while facing left has [censored]ing huge ones :af2:

-@10:01 downtaunt facing left makes sword white, downtaunt facing right makes it redish-purple, pretty cool

-@10:17, maybe have neutral B in air have some effects, looks kinda weird without them, considering a lot of his other effects have darkness on them, same goes for up B in air

-Also, any progress on changing Up B on ground to spin attack, did you get the video i showed yhou about moveset swaps, could it work with Link's up B?

-@10:30Range on Warlock punch should be increased a little, and should be toned down, 38% with that knockback is way too powerful

-@10:48 is DownB air, is it possible to change this? I forgot, I think you had an idea before about lighting hitting the sword and shooting 4 energy shots to the ground, it sounded insane, any possibility of it happening and still having down-air work?

-@10:52 is Down B ground, no counterattack comes out and you can be grabbed and has weird animation thingy at the end, otherwise you got it, invincible but still take damage



VERSION 2 NOTES
I'm only going to comment on the differences:

-@0:43, on the second hit of the Gerudo Razor, sometimes it stuns the enemy, this is an EXCELLENT idea, it doesn't happen every time so it's not cheap, but when it does you can guarantee the 3rd hit, maybe if the 4th comes out a little quicker it could be better

-@3:03 I FINALLY pull off the 4th hit of Gerudo Razor, it's a stab, kinda cool and it gives some range, but to be honest I like the last hit on Version 1 a little better

-@5:43 is side-tilt, yea it comes out fast, no lag, and no hitboxes....

-@5:52 is the sidesmash by A+direction, it just send you forward constantly and will only stop by hitting another button.... again kinda cool, overpowered, but I like the whole concept of the one from version 1 if you can get that one to work I'd say use that so you can run at opponents and side smash with almighty awesomeness :af2:


IMPORTANT
-@5:58, if you hold down the charge on the sidesmash all the way it does a stab, this is a pretty good concept, maybe have sidesmash by A+Direction with the smallest charge do the stab

then have the medium charge do the rush smash kinda like what the rushing thing is on this one, except have it stop automatically after a little range and throw out the hit, that way it's weaker than the full charge but has range and it'll be similar to Ganon's rushing attack from TP

then have the fully charged smash the the regular sword slash so it's powerful but low range

and then have sidesmash by the C-stick have you walk/run at your opponent like in Version 1 but slower and throw a swordslash

This would be the greatest and most original sidesmash ever :happy:, so for A+Direction it would be like:
0-30% charge = Stab
31-70% charge = Dash slash
71-100% charge = standing slash
C-stick tap = regular sword slash
C-stick hold = running/walking animation to sword slash when let go

-@6:14 doing sidesmash with C-stick does the rush smash thingy again

-@7:18 is the running A, it freezes which is pretty cool, makes the running A more dangerous which is kinda good seeing it's a little slow, leaves enemy open for a quick smash good idea, could you maybe freeze them with darkness? it would seem a little more in place, the ice just seems like something out of left field

-@8:06 is uptilt, it has hitboxes, but not lag, so it's wicked spammy, and the hitbox is awkward, the angle too, and there's no hitbox on the sword again, it's pretty weak, I'd try to make the angle more vertical and give it some more knockback so you can combo with it

-@9:18 the upthrow is messed up again, but at least it sends the enemy the same height for everyone, you'll see it on peach at the end

-@9:30, upair viciously spikes down wtf :af: lol





Anyways nice improvements, you've done well :angel:, can't wait to see the next update

and that guy that did soren truely is magic. idk how hes using bitvariables but ive had quite enough of them for a lifetime with ganon

seriously all the moves that got messed up were the ones that relied on bitvariables.

also, i messed up and made everything aura-effected. it looks cool, but it doesnt give the feeling that hes hitting with a sword. so im taking it out.

however, i WILL be using that technology in my future project.

btw. it would stun the enemy if it hit them in the head (if the previous hit made them trip or ir ur head is low like bowser.
i changed the stun to Zero Suit Samus's gun shot. thats what i wanted from the start. when i saw 'stun' under effects, i dint think it ment deku-nut stun.

let me know ur opinion about the up air.
and for a matter of playability? should i screw the superarmor and just make ganon invincible during those frames?

o yeah. hold a and foward during gerudo Razor to keep it going.
down B is a simple counter. its the end part of the gerudo razor.

gave the sword slash effects. aura effects on the last of the gerudo razor/counter.

I'd love to use it, too, but... yeah. PAL and stuff. I looked everywhere but just can't seem to find the PAL port of the sword code. Is it necessary for the moveset to work? Or are the PAL ports out there somewhere?

That's a tough call, but I just tested his upair quite a bit in a regular brawl match, and I have to say, if you make it like you said, this Ganon will be insanely overpowered, the reason being is his upthrow, since on heavy characters it only sends them high enough just to be hit with another attack, which is great for comboing, but during that time you can get his upair in, and even as it is now, it's an easy guaranteed kill move if you pull off a grab around 100%, if you did the upair like I said, then it would be a nice combo move instead of a cheap easy kill move

No offense on that or anything, I like your idea, but it would probably overpower this Ganon quite a bit considering you can pull off his upair out of a throw too quickly that the opponent can't do anything to defend, so my advice is to make his upair quicker and more of a combo move

You know the more I think about this, the more I think it's a better idea, think about it, lighter characters get killed easier, and we got a badass Ganon here, it's actually a good way to balance him, this way he can't combo easy off light characters for quick kills but can combo on heavier characters easier to level things out, this is assuming your keeping the upthrow that varies for different character weights I sure hope your keeping that one

As for kakashi, that sounds sick!, I haven't tried out the current kakashi but I admit that having sheiks moveset would imitate him more since sheik is already so ninja like 8)

NOTES:
PART 1
-Side Taunt facing left is new, looks kinda cool, maybe if the animation was a bit slower and smoother it would look better

-Still weird graphics problem on up taunt when facing different directions

-Gerudo Razor is now activated by hitting A(I start testing at 0:52), then holding it for the second hit, then hitting B, and the rest comes out automatically(I tried to do it how you said but it didn't work) and can be cancelled at any time, has a weird coin pop up on second hit sometimes :af:, and... well the last hits are kinda overpowered, not by much considering how unlikely it'll be that you'll actually hit with these, but if possible, it'd probably be better if you ould just make the Gerudo Razor simple and effective by making it all A button activations and making it quick and smooth like Link's AAA combo, IMO it would be much more effective in a fight, it'll have good range and you can give it some good damage considering it is Ganon here, if this is possible it would give him a deadly barrage that's usefull but not cheap

-Sparta kick is back

-Running A and Sidesmahs freeze wii

-@2:20 you can see the neutral A sword stab has a very disjointed hitbox, IDK if this was intentional

-@6:20 I start testing the range of Gerudo Razor and knockback on last 2 hits

-@12:09 Uptilt, well it's new, but honestly, it's highly ineffective, the range is bad, I'd throw a sparta kick before the uptilt any day, no offense but this kinda needs to change

-Ganon still walks very slow, just want to know if this is intentional?

-@13:55 Upair viciously spikes down :notimp:, change please  :af:, it's very cheap even though it's unlikely you'll pull the hit off and... well I have notes on it in my post above

-@ near end of video shows Warlock punch in air, no graphics, still needs to be weakened and increased in range a little

-DownB counter still same, no counterattack, yeah as for my suggestion on that, I'd rather have it make Ganon completely invincible and throw out a counterattack right when he's hit, because honestly the idea of taking damage and throwing out the counter when you want seems a little too complicated to do, I just don't see it happening, the whole thing with the timer and holding down B sounded kinda cool but I'm pretty sure Ganon will still be grabbable, and against people with tether grabs like Link and Samus, his counter would be rendered useless unless you give the counterattack some massive range, and then it might be cheap,

So for now I say try getting a simple counter working with full invincibility and automatic counterattack right when hit, then build on it later if you want

Cool, ummmm yeah from the one in your last update it only had one hitbox as far as I know, lemme check again.....oh no your right, but umm yeah that should be changed because 90% of the time I get the hit off it spikes down, you said you'd take my suggestion so this idea is assuming your going to go through with that....




Now, having it spike down isn't a bad idea so much, it's just again it's pretty overpowering, I mean that spike hits damn hard and it's where the attack hits the most, I would suggest taking out the spike by reversing the angles so it sends them upwards at those angles instead of down because of 3 reasons:

1) It's an overpowered feature, considering the attack hits the most on the spike and that spike hits hard
2) It seems out of place, like if someone were to just try this PSA out and have that happen it would be a WTF!? type of reaction, it makes it seem like there's some glitch or something wrong with Ganon rather than a cool new feature, speaking simply, the spiking feature does not fit right here
3) ...Damnit I had another reason I forgot :af:, I think maybe it was that it won't be good for combo followups at low damage with the spikes

I hate to gnaw at this idea but it honestly doesn't fit well, sry :-X, I would reverse the angles to send the opponent upwards at angles on the sides

Another thing is that the hitbox that sends the enemy straight up is very small and has like... no range, I suggest increasing the vertical range on that attack a little and expanding it to the sides a bit more to fit the graphic better, then the very outer edges of the graphic should have the hitboxes that send the enemy upwards at an angle

Hey if you want to spice this attack up a bit, could you maybe make it so that if you hit your opponent right on Ganon's hand, he grabs them, and then smashes them down like he does with his side B, would that be possible? Just an idea

actuially, the only things ive done with bitvariables were the only things that got messed up. the fact of the matter is that we dont know everything about the codes of this game, and while choosing numbers at random is statisticly viable to yeild vacant results, it is not guarenteed. and due to the anoynmous-ness of the abiguous bit variables, its unfeasable to arive at any conclusions regarding the identity of the bitvariable in question. even if one were able to postulate an identity, this does not assure its sucess seeing how the commands we are using were constructed with certain parameters in mind, and therefore, we can not conclude that their function will yeild similar results without said parameters.

ill take a look at the vids and try to fix it. if it turns out to be 2 big of a job, ill finish it 2mrw. ill have to take a look before i can say 1 way or the other.

wow. no wonder u hate the up tilt. that is NOT what i wanted him to do. but thats veryt insigtful to how this program behaves. his up tilt is SUPPOSED to be a slash uppercut. cuz i use syncronious timers on this one, its not activating cuz his sword is not in the air. whereas, the hitboxes are consistently on his foot cuz i made his sparta kick, gerudo razor, and up tilt all subaction 122. all the hitboxes are activated (including ones synked to the bootom of his foot). when i mistyped and labeled "Swing3" as "swing3", the typo made it so PSA program did not recognize any command, so it did the closest animtation in the sequence, in this case, side tilt animation.

i feel like a detective. yay

ill fix that in a jiff.

ur right. what ill do (so i can still have the triangle effect, is make the hitboxes send you upward at 100, 90, or 80 degree angles, depending on which one u get hit by. eitherway, ur hit upward at almost the same angle.
ill speed it up for ya

ur right, the side taunt would look cool slowed down.
and ill fix those graphic glitches too.

heres the hard part. idk whats wrong with the flags on the Gerudo razor. lmao. i can say honestly that those were random. i didnt put in the coin or that random red thing (even tho it looks cool. ill bookmark that flag to use for a later date).
to fix this, ill have to take the flags of another move and work my way up.
what this means is that the flags of his sword will have to be just a jab-effect on them (liek mario's neutral A hit kind of responce. same % and knockback as ganon's previous moves, just looks different) once i get a starting point, and make sure that it works (which i dint do before i programed the last flags in), then i can do all the flags in one update.
so basicly, the next update will have funny graphics and ull be able to hear the sword differently, but itll be basicly the same.

ok so i can fix all of this. the thing i really dont know what went wrong is the freezing on those moves. they look fine to me. im just gonna try restarting there flags and see if that helps at all.


ok now to something less technical: i think we should keep the up smash weak like this. i say this because all of his sword moves are unique in that they send the opponent flying very close to horozontally.  his side B , foward air, and down air all spike the opponent down. ganon is a beast at sending his opponent flying. except, upward. if we made his able to kill like this by giving him a proper up smash, hell be a beast in every direction.

most characters cant kill in all directions like that. all of iceclimbers moves send them up or down (obviously there is horizontal movement, but its primarily vertical. lucario only has 1 move that hits upwards well. king DeeDeeDee is bad at killing upward cuz his up air is a rapid-hit, and his up smash is ok, but not good.

i think the move should stay as is, only just alittle bt stronger. its still not gonna be like his old up smash would be.

also, ill turn down the up throw, but i cant change the fact that it affects diff characters differently. theres no getting around that. ill decrease knockback nonetheless for the sake of much-needed balence.

idk how im gonna fix the sword smashes, end animation on downB and warlock punch. ill figure it out tho. ill just need to find an answer :)

I'd love to use it, too, but... yeah. PAL and stuff. I looked everywhere but just can't seem to find the PAL port of the sword code. Is it necessary for the moveset to work? Or are the PAL ports out there somewhere?

im very sorry about that. that was very inconsiderate of me. i didnt even think about PAL users using the PSA. i would be more then glad to translate this to PAL for u.

in addition, ill make an alternite version of this PSA without sound (cuz i know that the sound gets messed up when using a NTSC PSA on PAL Wii.

Damn, didn't know you're all still so in the dark on this coding business, I'm even more surprised now at how much you and other coders have been able to pull off, I thought some of my suggestions were a little too out there before, but now it seems like some of what I ask is like asking my uncle not to touch the pie at thanksgiving, not gonna happen :af: still you've done great so far given what you have to work with :kdance:

Random on the Gerudo Razor? Yea I kinda thought something was up when I saw that coin pop up :af2:

For the upsmash, your right it seems fine the way it is now, your analysis on it is very good though, I actually never noticed that other characters had a weak direction good eye there detective 8)

For the upthrow, yeah if upwards is his weak direction IDK how sending opponents to mars would fit in :af: don't stress over it though just do what you can

Good luck on the rest, those little instances are a nuisance but I'm sure you can figure something out

im rushing myself. college apps start really soon. this is never ever going to happen once i start worrying about those. gota finish this quick b4 ill be off of hacking for a month or two.
thats why im releasing a non-perfected beta as my final.

btw. I FIGURED IT OUT! it was actually a new find. i tried the change frame rate command. it basicly speeds something up (the wii reads time as going slower for that character. essentially the same thing). in the Roy PSA, they used it to skip over parts of animations to emphacize other parts of them. i wanted to take the "skipping over" literally. i couldnt get the sparta kick to work without a sword uppercut before it. so i put the sword attack as x12 speed. itd go so fast u wouldnt see it, then hed go to his sparta kick.
turns out the wii couldnt handle it.
im gonna try x4. see how that goes. heres a quick fix. this is the same as the previous version, only that 1 detail changed.
this is more for your convenience so u can play it while im fixing it. :)
also, im gonna change the intro alteration. looked better b4
fine ill fix the up throw :-p

Ok, this videos shorter than the last, and it's only 1 part :kdance:, bad news, running A still freezes, it didn't the first time I did it, but it did the second time at the end of the video

NOTES:

-Intro animation looks very good and legit, much better than the last nicely done

-IDK if it's new but standing animation darkness effects are badass

-Uptaunt graphics are FIXED!! :kdance:

-New sidetaunt looks MUCH better, only one thing to nitpick is when his arms reach the highest point when he starts to draw them back, there's a bit of a skip in the animation that's a little noticeable, nothing too big but if it's possible, smoothen that out a little and it's gold

-Gerudo Razor activated by A(hold), then hit B and rest comes out automatically, very weird effects on it Coin AND a flower :af:, I think you mentioned it would have this though but it is less powerful, and yes it would probably be better to have it like an average A combo, I'd try to make it a bit more like Link's how it flows together

-Around 1:50, Sparta kick still in and fully functional

-Walking speed is faster, that's fixed for the most part I think

-@2:18 uptilt is the same as before

-@3:34 upthrow is better in the knockback strength category, however there's one problem, you can't cancel out of the upthrow animation as early as before(I'm literally mashing jump right after I do upthrow) so now you can't combo out of it... change that part back please ;D it was very useful for Ganon's combo game, the way it is now it also leaves Ganon open for quite a bit to be attack by another opponent

-@4:30 I start testing Upair, yea that spike is insane, nothing really changed about it

-@6:30 I FINALLY get the hitbox on the upair that hits them upwards, I was actually trying to do it the whole time, but now you can at least see how hard it is to hit with that hitbox, and it's pretty overpowered, got a nice easy kill around 100% with it as you can see

-Warlock punch the same

-@8:20 I test the DownB counter, if you just hit downB and let it go, the counterattack comes out after the animation automatically, but as you can see, it's a little messed up :af:, HOWEVER Ganon is fully invincible so that's good, oh and if I hold DownB the whole time the counterattack does NOT come out, BUT if I hold downB and then let go halfway through the animation or any time before it ends the counterattack WILL come out, so there's an improvement there

-@9:55 I try the sidesmash, if I let it go at a weaker charge, it does the same charge glitch thing as the downB counter, but if I charge it all the way it does a really fast swipe that you really can't see but I think it might actually be doing the first hit of the glitchy charge and cancelling itself out, sidesmash via C-Stick just puts it right into the charge, and you can cancel the charge/dash glitchy attack any time

-@11:00 I land a running A successfully, but when I do it again the wii freezes :af:

You managed some good improvements though :angel:

hmm interesting.
i think ill have to start from scratch with the up tilt. ill use an idea i tried earlier, only now i know about flags and whatnot. theres a chance it might work.

the dash attack freezing is for the same reason it froze earlier, it doesnt like to be sped up. i guess i wont touch the frame/second function for the next one (comes out friday afternoon.)

the glitchy sword lunge shows that my plan for this psa moveset using variables isnt working in accordance with framerate modifiers (too bad. it was a good idea too).

ill have to redo his smash moves and stuff. shouldnt be too hard cuz i know what i have in mind.  its just no guarenteed hitboxes cuz i never got it to work before. but im better at this now so mabe i can do it)

forgot to change the up air. my bad. ill do that for the update too.

and yes, by changing the smashes, his counterattack will be changed too.

and yes,lol the random graphics were on purpose, however, the red line was supposed to be gone...its not...hmmm.

idk what ur tlking about with the up throw. like link cant cancel out as fast? or ganon has to finish the animation? it looked fine to me. didnt ganon always have to finish the animation? thats how it should be i think.
btw there was supposed to be cool lighting effects on this move. fail.
i dont think ill have time to change this for 2mrws update. im bringing it to a friend's house to playtest. cuz its an unmodded wii and im using the stage-editor gecko loader, the rule is that if it freezes once, im done for the night (after hearing that my wii broke, hes paranoid about me coming hear his. he does have a point lol)

so to avoid freezing by whatever means necisary, ill simplify his moves, fix where i can, however i wont mod moves like adding an up B, changing the up throw, or the air down B. also, after i switch the taunts, im done editing them.

For upthrow, what I mean is that Ganon is forced to finish the animation now whereas before you could jump out of it, the only reason this is potentially bad is because with heavy characters, they'll recover quicker because they won't be sent as high and could nail a free shot on Ganon making his upthrow a move to not use, or someone else could come in on the side and take him out

Maybe just speed up the animation after the throw, because as it is now it leaves Ganon wide open for an attack, and generally, all characters in Brawl have quick throws for a reason, they shouldn't leave the attacker vulnerable

So yea just speed up the animation or make it like before where you can jump out of the animation, though it would probably look better just sped up, otherwise his upthrow would not be a throw to use


Oh yeah and there is a lightning effect, but it's very quick and not that big


And try not to mess up your friend's wii, cause then he's gonna be all like  :notimp:
and your gonna be all like  :>.>:.....maybe I should start running, and it's gonna be really awkward lol

Can't you load the HackMii installer with Smash Stack? As in, install HBC using Smash Stack, then get a Gecko and hack normally.

You CAN get the Homebrew Channel on 4.2 Wiis. I have it on mine. Just use the HackMii installer v0.6 (http://bootmii.org/download) via Bannerbomb v2 (http://www.wiibrew.org/wiki/Bannerbomb), Smash Stack (http://www.wiibrew.org/wiki/Smash_Stack), or Indiana Pwns (http://www.wiibrew.org/wiki/Indiana_Pwns) to install Homebrew Channel 1.0.6 (and DVDX 2.0 if you want).

Sometimes I really hate having PAL Brawl.
No music hacks.
No z=cos code.
And no code for Ganondorf's sword.
What in turn means that I can't use this, even so I want it badly.

Anyways I'll just throw this out there for who cares to download

-doing the downAIR attack makes Ganon freeze in midair if he doesn't touch the ground
-DownB in the Air makes Ganon move downward constantly at a VERY slow pace
