Title: Off Topic Question Post by: Juri Han on May 15, 2011, 02:35:41 PM I apologize in advance for posting this HERE, But I've tried asking around, and I haven't gotten any solid help yet.
Anyway, I'm having issues with my Gamecube memory cards. Basically, sometimes I put them into my GC, and it tells me the card either needs to be formatted or it can't be used at all. But I could remove it and place it right back in, and it'll work fine. I prefer to use my GC because it's a lot more quiet than the Wii, btw. So my question is - is this a serious problem? Or is my GC just so old that it's making mistakes or something? I'd really like to find out... Title: Re: Off Topic Question Post by: Puraidou on May 15, 2011, 02:39:26 PM I never had this kind of problem and i played my GC ever since i had it back then. But i never actually took them out of the slots if it wasn't needed, so that could explain it if you removed them a lot that is.
I'm not really sure what could cause this but it could either be your memory card's connector being dusty/damaged or your GC's reader that's dusty/damaged Title: Re: Off Topic Question Post by: Juri Han on May 15, 2011, 04:38:08 PM Meh. I don't really know what's causing it, but I'm guessing it's a problem with the 'cube itself. Both a first party AND third party memory card showed the same problems, but yet none of them were forced to be formatted.
Still hella weird, though ._. Title: Re: Off Topic Question Post by: Puraidou on May 16, 2011, 10:22:17 AM Indeed it is weird, glad i never had that though ^_^"
