nope. I'm just exporting models to get BrawlBox working. who ever wants to use em are welcome to Download them and tweek it to work. it's all this topic is for.

You read my Op? The stuff I'm posting is for people that's having trouble making DAE of models. I've already got them ready. They just need to be rigged TO brawl's bones and resized.

Interesting.  It doesn't look like SF4, TvC or MvC3 Chun at all, but I can't think of any other 3D Chun-Li models to chose from.

You're welcome to take anyone you like from my random uploads ^_^ they should generally work and be ready for rigging to explode for the brawl bones and what not. I've tested them a few times and they do load back into both 3DsMax 2010 and BrawlBox 65.

I tried Kagome but the hair texture (or som'in) screwed up. I prob won't post her. She was pretty generic too (like Tetsuigia's blade)

I can export em Smooth styled honestly. I just dono how to assign Textures to the Dae before exporting cause the Dae builder doesn't have any info about it

So the textures aren't in a weird format? Because apparently they have a weird compression or something like that. /:

Lara and Cammy's textures goofed I can tell you that one. The rest they came out fine. Also Chin-Li and EggRobo I didn't change the Lighting brightness in the previewer

It's in a VTX. I would know about a TVF file (since all my models have been Valve =p). Nah. Chell's already being (properly) done by RandomTBush

mesh3rdm is what i use... but it seems to keep the skeleton structure for characters and not stages... which is why i asked ^^"

mind if i send u a stage file and see if it works for u in Noesis?

Thanks Kit! Your tutorial helped tremendously!  I followed it with a test model I downloaded from The Models Resource, and I was able to rig it to Marth's bones and import it into Brawl Box.  Voila!

Nice! and there won't be one ^_^'' That's awesome that you got the rigging! Load marth's motionect file and see if there's any problems. If there is, you'll have to ask someone with Rigging knowlage cause I dono how to make explosives rigs.

Oh lol....I should have thought of that.  Yeah there are a handful of bones I need to add weights to...but that shouldn't be too much of a problem. It looks managable for now.  I'd like to first figure out how to get the thing into brawl before I iron out the glitchyness.  It just soft freezes whenever I pick marth :\  I suppose it has something to do with the shaders because this model only has one, whereas a normal marth has like 9.  I can add shaders to the model, but whenever I save they disappear.

Eh? All the bones are the same as a default marth, and in the same order.  I don't know what else could be wrong.  It obviously has different amounts of polygons, materials, and textures than a default marth, but I don't think that would be causing the problem.  Oh well I won't ask for help in your thread, since this is supposed to be about your work...I'll take it to the help section.  I just wanted to thank you for the tutorial is all.  Nice imports btw.

Hehehe Well from experiance, when a poly gets stretched funny, like, in 12 different ways and locations, it will cause calculation problems. If the model isn't matched up properly with marth's bones in Marth's Motionect file, then it'll cause the calculation errors (and eventual crash)

I don't have any of them rigged in a brawl skeleton. I have tested the EggWalker in game and it loaded onto my stage. Also another Model I have (the Egg Mobile) also loaded into the brawl stage without an issue.

i think hes picturing a stage where theres a house.. a bunch of characters in the background as props of the stage.. made outa wax.. thats what i got from the "or hell used as great stage props =3"

anyway.. i think you should prioritize any unfinished stuff and THEN by then some dudes mightve made guides to help ya out to import these yourself. glorious is what that would be.

I was thinking of having a stage built with all the models I have as a demo.... But honestly I've already tried to figure out how to even use the bones and what not and it's just so far over my head. I'll just stick to porting the model to BrawlBox ready (Brawl Stage usable) and let you guy do the rest if you want to have the model. Just credit me some where XD

Like I posted somewhere in this thread, I've already tried to wrap my mind around how to rig and it's just way over my head... I'd rather stick to som'in I'm good at, Animations.

Op says so =p I'm not sure how well the Zim model will do.. The BB preview shows his eyes a bit messed up... Also they are supposed to be Cell Shaded so that could possibly screw som'in up (Though I did set the shader to Cell)

I got it. Textures fixed, Creeper animated. It works ingame. Mostly.

The first try revealed to me that the bomb works at this weird 180 degree thing. I'm about to test the second time. It should run nice and upright!

Daaa it's nothing special. I will note that before adding the Skin from the paste, add a "smooth" option from the drop down and Click 1. Then paste the skin before the Smooth (right click smooth). it'll give you a nice rounded figure and the proper skin bends from the default model. Thanks to dsx8 for teaching me XD

Be fine to me. I got both my Stage (106k+ verts) and the Egg Walker (60k+ verts) to load into brawl without any hicups.

OH! Yes, I do have him. I can get that one brawlBox ready too. I'll do the Un-cell shaded version, since I've heard reports the Cell shading doesn't work still... though I'd like to know if the 2 models I did post are reacting to the cell shade or not..

It's being a pain. Textures don't work.

Unmodified, they look akin to:

quite interesting. If there was a way to polish the texture a bit more that'd be awesome. if not, I say it's pretty good.

If you know how to rig, you're welcome to give him a go. Just remember he'll need to be resized XD Also don't forget to credit me in some form if you do. Oh lastly, Change the resolution of the texture. atm it's 2000+ x 2000+... it wouldn't work out too good for a file size XD

I am lovin' all the PSO/U love in this topic! I've racked countless hours on both, personally. Also, Sally, do you have any good screen shots of your PSU character? I could take a shot at recreating her and rip that for you, which would be essentially the same thing I did for my character. :) Regardless, I'm working on getting Falz Memoria ripped now. [Or rather, looking for a way to get there... lol.]

i tryed what i could with what i learned from Beyond's tutorial    i hope ya find out the problem

niice    for me it would mostly only be for eye candy     the stage id really wanna see is uh.. you know on phantasy star online episode 2 at the jungle areas where theres puddles that are sorta stairs?   maps in that area, where theres sorta a hole to one side, yer under all those trees and those puddles on a other side     also that one area.. where theres some water and a waterfall. you could see the ocean and out of the island from that place too. the cliff could be where one could fall off      

in the end.. its up to you     i like a stage where you can fall off, instead of being completly flat. maybe edit the memorial with damaged floors and some go-through platforms somewhere    id really want those songs transformed.. i think it was called "jungle cage"

in case ya guys dun know, phantasy star online 2 is commin to PC in the US next year. since my comp is crap, i hope it comes to consoles soooon..   the trailers look gooood

Lol, thanks for trying to help anyway, ramon. Apparently the model-gods are afraid of the magic I could potentially create, lol. Also, oh yeah I'm aware of PSO2. I've been watching it extremely closely ever since was announced, lol.  I'm actually planning on upgrading my PC just for that game.

Technically I can't thank you enough for helping me get into this in the first place with me attempting animations.. You're the full reason why I can't get away from this and the fun I have with animations. The Model import thing is just for fun and for people to go "Hey! The pieces would be way too many. the face alone has over 500 files. All Objects will be in OBJ so you're going to have to wrestle with them to T-Stance, else I'll post  them in a bit. Takes me a bit to find everything and convert

Not unless you set the texture right. I'll get the rest exported and pack it up. I'm not going to include the .pac this time as these are obj files.

Edit: The werewolf is in 4 pieces, but shouldn't be too hard to fix up.

It's probably wherever the enemies are found, I guess. They are enemies, but only in the daedric artifact quest.

or the files for Sanguine work too, because he looks basically the same XD
