BTW, I obtained the model from the game itself. The ripping process is pretty easy.

Hexing. Well, I didn't do manual hexing, but I extracted game resource files and converted them with a program I found...

can u tell me how u did it? O.o
I'll make a tutorial eventually.

Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and possibly Mario Sunshine.
And really, It's 3 programs. 2 to get it into a format the third can read, and then export to a 3ds file.

I plan on swapping out all of link's articles as well - the obvious bow art replacement, but there are others I want to do as well

No. That might come later, but I doubt it. it requires some modification to the texture, including transparency, so... sorry, but no.

Yeah. I'd like to get the pack (that will feature full items) out before anyone releases a different pack, because if they download that person's pack, they won't have the full item swap, which is the highest quality file.

If that makes any sense...

The Minecraft model shown in that picture is missing his hand "stump" section. Is this a texture error, or a texture mapping error?

Modeled it myself in google sketchup. The character is 1.8 meters tall exactly, so I just worked the scale out from there.

And for the other minecraft items? I'll be butting the pick over something, but nothing else.

Bomb=TNT
Bow+ Arrow = Bow and Arrow
Navi = Pig or eye of ender

More or less right. Navi's an ender eye, the boomerang's a pickaxe.

Edit: Everything should work fine, but it's almost midnight here. I'll test tomorrow, probably, and then hopefully release.

BTW, anyone want to make a recording of the Minecraft Character Import once V2 is out?
