thats why i made this topic..
hmm.. this will be the thread were all people who are importing touhous to brawl, should meet.
im taking care, since im importing some MMD models, so i ordered by priority of my likes:

-Yukkuri over kirby

since im new on this, maybe I should start importing with something simple...
Kirby doesnt have lots of bones to rig, so.. is there something to take easier?

im also making some imports for all touhou psas made by other people, DAO Ibuki is my friend, so I got his permission

other things in my plans are:
-shinki for rosalina psa (i have to import the model over a rosalina one, cause when i put a peach model on that psa, my wii freezes  :srs:)

-reisen for saki amamiya psa

I'm doing Sanae and Yukari over Peach.

Of course, I do work ridiculously slow, so... :srs:
Currently, I'm trying to stretch the model so it fits over Peach's bones nicely. Thank youkai jesus that I can use the bones from MMD to help me, rather than stretching vertices and leaving unsightly stretches. But that doesn't mean the MMD bones cooperate. :srs:

actually, i dont have problems fitting models to bonesets..
apart from the models i posted on the main post, i have other proyects, for dao's psas, for example:

thats a marisa im working on for dao's marisa psa, is not the mmd version, but is cool too..
the boneset is ready and i already rigged some parts of the body, but thats my main problem, rigging is never ending and hard as hell D:!!

i was thinking on that too, but the model would be veery large.. but nothing that cant be solved witha size mod for a 1-slot, right?

but on facepunch forums i heard that theres a way to autowheight with a script for 3ds max 2010-2011.. i will try it when i can but sadly, i have 3ds max 8, ill have to mode so it will take more time to me

i think, kaguya is my fave touhou character, thats why when dao made the mokou psa, i told him to dont make kaguya, i will be the one who makes her

Yay!  I like Kaguya too.  When you start work on Kaguya's PSA, I suggest that you make one version that lets her transform into Sheik and another that doesn't.

that was the first plan, because i have spiderman, and just thinking on kaguya turning into spiderman scares me the hell out

Keep me and anyone else who is interested posted on this and Komachi!  I've waited for who-knows-how-long to have Kaguya in Brawl, and the mere notion of Komachi over Ike makes me laugh!

I know I mentioned that I was working on the green miko, but frankly, the model I had was not very good. I "found" another model which looks far superior, but it hasn't been released yet.

Change the object's material's CullMode to Cull_None.

I couldn't really find another nice looking model. I found the other ones had faces that seemed a bit... weird to me.

You'll probably have to reduce the vertices a lot and there's some weird squiggly lines on her face, but you can just take them out of the texture.

 he was right, you can edit the vertices. thats what I did with kaguya and nitori models

I feel like I'm doing something wrong. The model doesn't move with the bones in 3DS Max, but it does in BrawlBox. However, any weight changes I apply in 3DS Max do apply in BrawlBox.
Because of this, it gets really tedious trying to pinpoint the problem vertices.

EDIT:  :>.>palm: Never mind, stupid mistake on my part. Solved.

were all impatient to have kaguya, (even me) dont worry.
but to be honest, this is taking too much because im back to school, and kaguya's cool loong hair is hard to rigg on a way that the head bendings doesnt make her look bad
and the shoulder bones..
how the hell do i rigg the shoulder bones??! you know.. LShoulderN, RShoulderN, LShoulderArmorN and RShoulderArmorN... some help in here would be really apreciated...

Small progress on Reimu. I haven't been able to work on her much recently.
However, I finished the bare rigging. Nearly everything follows the appropriate bone, save a few vertices. I still have to smooth out distortions, ESPECIALLY AT THE LIMBS. And the shoulders look so awful.

Peach has some seriously weird proportions. :srs:

okay...
time for some updates..
nitori over snake is perfect, i already modified the model to fit the bones, even the fingers will fit on this one..
about kaguya.. is my first priority, and the rigging is going pretty good, today i made a very good advance, both legs, knees, feet, head, hair, hip, and waist are now rigged allright, during this week, ill try to rig all more i can to have her ready for brawl..
and im also on some surprice that will be incluided with kaguya  :af2:

Im not really sure, I dont want to cause any kind of dissapointment for the dates, so i dont have a specific date for the realeases..
but I think that i will finish kaguya this weekend, since im progressing a bit on these days..
about nitori and the others: Im not sure either, i will focuss on them once when I finish kaguya, i dont like to start something before finishing something else

My wii is not working so I cant test what Ive finished, so Im asking help to know if the imports actually works or even for in game pictures...
So I have finished rigging Iku Nagae; PM me for the link and test it, if it doesnt crash (what I doubt), take photos, send them to me on PM and I will credit you submiting it
