Title: *SOLVED* Game freezes at strap screen! plz help! Post by: BriefCasey795 on January 28, 2012, 02:21:19 PM Guys, i tried to boot my brawl, but at the strap screen, it froze! Before you say it's my info.pac, it's not over the size limit. my info.pac is 389kb (thanks to a smallerinfo.pac on the vault). and my common5.pac is 11.3MB. Now i don't know the size limit for the common5.pac could someone tell me? also, what are the size limits for the info_training.pac, common3.pac, and if_adv_mngr.pac? (<---adventure mode info.pac) because i think one of my files could be over the size limit? someone please tell me. because i need to test hacks i'm going to release!

It seemed i poorly compressed my files with the newest BrawlBox. Using BrawlBox v.0.63b, I grabbed unedited versions of a common3.pac, common5.pac and info.pac and put my changes in there. As i booted up brawl, after a few seconds, It DIDN'T freeze! Worked like a charm! dunno what file caused it though. but now I can enjoy my modded brawl again! :happy:
