Glitches
Sirkura v3: You need the fitszerosuit.pac for the tail to show up properly. Also as of now, this affects ALL slots on ZSS. In the future I plan to weight the tail to the model, rather then attaching the tail with an article.  If you want to add the tail to other models, toss me a pm i'm happy to help ^^

Frosty Outfit: I have heavily verticed this model, over and over and over again. No matter how I try, I can't seem to minimize the clipping of her skirt. If you plan on using this, you may wish to wait untill I finish the rigging of the original. There is also slight clipping of the sleaves when they bend at a certain angle. That's not as noticeable tho.

Yep ^^ she's my avatar on an MMO.  actually have her model ripped too i just fail at rigging. and the textures are a bit strange there monochrome since they change colors. tryignt o edit the materials to fix it. there is actually a release coming soon with 5 other outfits just finishing them before i release.  there is actually a few characters i'm making. Bo or BlackRose (friend's characters) will probably be next.

actually i need to update my rips of sirks now that i think about it, i changed her :o need to update my sig too xD. her features are a lot softer now.

its Perfect World International. its a pretty good free to play game, the graphics are amazing in it. lol i normally play in the lowest tho since i have 3-4 clients open at a time xD the fashion and customization over your character are what keep me in it tho. that and a few awesome friends. i need to update my signature i made her face a bit softer and smoothed some of the textures out. looks cleaner.

ah those r my other 2 characters. the one far left is my assasin CloudKissed and the center one is my cleric _Tira_. actually, oddly enough, none of those r my main characters. xD i need to make an updated sig. that one is over a year old and i have another character that is my main now.

haha actually i have plans for her but the modeling is giving me a headache. i ripped her from pwi and her fash is... broken O.o parts of it are monochrome (black on textures that change color) and other parts are completely invisible. i might try a very simple rig to see how the model looks in brawl. just been too lazy to do it. see if the models that are invisible show up right in a normal rendered view. it could be as simple as the textures not ripping right then i can texture the clear parts in. or as complex as remapping everything. i wanna put her over link tho.

Oki so I've decided after thinking about it I'll make both textures for green.  I'll need more costumes for cBliss anyway. black and green will be first and probably released. then I'll work on the others.

sweet :P hehe i actually have a custom wait animations me and some friends made too. i might post a few links, also so far we have thunder, frosty, leather, seaspray completed, zig is working on the fairy dress currently, and i'm working on the magicians outfit+yukata.

haha yep and actually that was a very very early preview of the fairy outfit, its just not textured and yet still has the thunder coat's textures. the leather outfit is the blue one in the OP. lol i take forever with animations as well. my friend dustyy did the animations for me ^^ i like how they came out, she did a good job.

you could probably remove all the whip animations since you won't be needing them that might help a bit. could also make the animations for everything shorter and use a framerate modifier in psa, just a few idea's to lower the size a bit.

Are the models ripped are in obj format?
Or do you have to convert them?
they normally rip as .rip or something i forgot exact extension its a format specifically for the program but it comes with a 3dsmax extension. you can also rip as an object but its jumbled a bit normally.

its actually not terribly hard with the pwi models. after the A stance i can just rig them to a simple skeleton to T-stance it.i just absolutely hate rigging it takes forever xD

haha yep. u may wanna do a basic rip for the wings on an archer or cleric, but veno would have a tail. you could probably recolor the "mafia top" in it to make it look like her dress.

Well I just tried it out again, and the character customization's pretty large right from the get go.

Although it might just be my computer for some reason, it's kind a weird. Like I needed to continually randomize my character in order to get a Fedora.


And say, could you share the process in you do to extract the models?
I got 3d ripper, but I'm lost in how to use it.

it rips everything the camra can see thats rendered.

hehe ikr? and zig is here just not as active on the forums as i am. tira will be really really tough to make i think. i'm lousy with psa. i'm sorting her texture files so i can use the model still. theres around 250+ textures to dig thru. tho luckily i know most of the UV's for the clothing/characters/weapons. its more tedious then difficult.

haha yep its pretty big. and after it downloads it may need an update. depending on your download speed it may be faster to download a manual patch for the updates at that time. tho auto is easier but takes longer to download after instalation.

i found out how to fix most of the texture glitches with our rips. anything that is invisable typically is just a texture malfunction with the .DDS files. you can usually manually texture them.

yep it was lol i just placed the textures of her top over the skirt and it came out like that. can be textured later. also here is Devaliah if you  can find someone who can rig her.

I'M BACK! Long story short our computer screen broke, been unable to use it for around 3 weeks.  anyway back on topic.  looking at the poll boobs win with 67% runner up is yes to more outfits so i'll probably be making a couple more outfits in my spare time, including the amathyst armor (signature) and the necromancy armore. mean while new pose!

its a private server you start at 105 (could be wrong they changed the lvling system recently with a whipe [complete server whipe starting new grr]) and u pretty much have free access to everything in PWI at the start, plus there is newer stuff that only the pserver has. its good for making a base template for models. another plus is its much faster to install then pwi xD only took me about an hr or 2

edit: wow just looked after not playing for ever on the pserver, and EVERYTHING is different now xD. still should be faster to lvl and stuff tho

there is one for every outfit i've made plus a few others i plan for cBlis, problem will be sorting the textures for u tho. there not exactly in 1 piece xD and there mixed with thousands of others Dx i'll need to rip them still too~

alright i think i'll just send u the model and texture folders. the textures on some turn invisable for some reason, u can just ignore that i'm pretty sure i can fix it, noticed it also helps if u save then reopen it. (outdated material plugins maybe?) do you want the .3dr or .obj files? object probably won't have the textures show in the viewer. u'll need to install the 3dr plug in if u want to use that.

its a friend of ours called Dustyy, she's a pretty close friend, and fairly skilled in animation.  as long as she doesn't rush lol she's also helped us strip out a few of the project melee codes were using tho not sure if i'll release them yet since the PMBR doesn't really want there codes public. mostly using the reflect on perfect shield and there air dodge system.

and photobucket is working now thx tho <3 added previews of some of the characters to the OP

were experimenting with hitlag atm.  we tried integrating our mods into the new brawl minus but it seemed.. off somehow. it seems liek the gameplay slowed down might revert to 1.6 were currently on 1.9 for our codeset. and ty for the compliment ^^ i spent a lot of time on her makeup.

Bleh SoFB  our comp FINALLY kicked the bucket xD it gave a good fight, but its thru.  hard drive went out, the screen is busted, the power cord is messed up, the battery is bad, the socket for the power cord is melted xD time for a new comp! not sure when i'll be getting one tho.

So we have a project underway. its a rather big one. we will need a fair size crew if we hope to complete it.

currently we have:

Director:
Codi

animators/modeling:
Sirkura (myself)
zigheart

PSA:
Dustyy

Misc:
Misfortune (possibly)

we need stage editors and more experienced PSA members. modelers will also be helpful. heck if your interested just let us know we can probably find room for you somewhere.

our goals:
1)make a completely new cast of characters. (2 rosters) each one unique with there own abilities
2) completely redesign the stages and themes for a more unique experience.
3) replace the subspace emissary storyline with our own. we will need voice actors for each character. while were not 100% how possible it is to replace the layout of SS we will definitely retexture it according to our needs, including but not limited to the enemies within the storymode.
4) add all new modes of gameplay including a new team brawl mode, stamina, and sudden death modes
5) completely alter the physics of the game for a rapid fast paced battly royal that rewards skill and quick reflexes. were planning on a hybrid engine that combines aspects from many other modes such as PM, B-/+, etc.

i'm barrowing a friends computer atm. i'm going to attempt to get the ini files for the characters off pwi. we have spots available for just about anything right now, as its just me, dusty and sirks working on it, Dusty is our coder, me and Amanda mostly do modeling and rigging. we need stage builders, and probably more modelers. more of anything would be greatly helped tbh. don jon bravo said he was working on sirkura. tho we haven't heard back from him. if any animators/modelers are interested in helping let me know, i'll send you the models we currently have.

She will be slower, probably slightly less then ike,  however certain moves will be cancel able and good utilities to move in short bursts of speed for combo's. she will be more set up for setting an opponent up for a string of attacks that can vary greatly at the skill of the player.

idea's so far:
     she can use her demon wings defensively or for quick bursts of movement. (side B, up B)
    
     her AAA combo will be modified to better combo with her attacks. first hit will knock an opponent down with a trip, comboing into lower trajectory hits. second is an upwards swing to toss the opponent into the air for aerials  last hit will knock the opponent back from you.

     down B will be shadow counter. she will block and if the opponent strikes at her she will vanish coming down from above with a heavy hit.

     final smash will be soul devour. she dashes forward to catch the opponent, sinking her fangs into her foe and steadily drains 150% damage from her victim. now here is where things will get interesting. she will be able to go below 0%.  further reducing knock back against her untill she is damaged above 0%.

i'll work on sirks once she's rigged over link :P

yep 72. 2 full rosters of characters and stages. based off the storyline. there will be to base plots, v1 and v2. were tring to find out how to get around the 2 gig sd limit, but no promises for the full thing you might need a modded iso to store thp's and music and subspace obviously we will do what we can to make it riivo and gecko friendly.  but you may be limited to characters and stages.

the alternate loader we use doesn't work with riivo. something we'll need to iron out. i don't think it's a matter of size its more of limitations on the hardware. another idea is we can release  both sets in 2 packs.  one for the older story the other for the newer one. were working on the newer set atm.

not triple. its a similar system made my mugenwii but only 2 file structures. its quite stable. you can switch rosters on the fly as long as its not the same character, same with stages. only issues are if you change files mid battle can have some weird results. currently were just trying to fill one roster so we have something to release.

i was actually thinking of placing her over pit the other day. would take more work to psa but the wings would be rigged.  that or i can make them articles, or add new bones to animate them. i have a few options. her traditional outfit is her wings wrapped tightly around her, wich looks like a form fitting trench coat. maybe an animated article might do good. for the attacks that use the wings. will have to research into it.

bowknot is almost one tho kinda pulled a blonde move and rigged her faces to the model Dx derp pretty sure its an easy fix, i'll delete and readd them. i'll post previews when i get the chance. also anyone able to psa be willing to make the hitboxes if we do the animations? dustyy is taking a break for xmas.

xD good news and bad news. good news is i got everything working again.

 bad news is i can no longer delete the animations in PW to get the model to T-pose. they will need to be T-stanced manually and quite frankly i don't have the patience for it. the game updated the models.pck so when it goes over 2gigs the file splits in 2. i've been unsuccessful in merging/extracting/recompiling them in any way >.<

Aww i might be able to test things later. also i think most the private servers still use the 1.4.8 servers. i don't think they hit that 2gig limit yet. i'll test it out later if you can give me the ini files of the characters.

Updated OP with the ripped models. just a  fair bit of warning they are "A" stanced and i don't think the textures all ripped. fee free to use them, rig them, or what ever else you wish. just credit and send us a PM if you do.

i wouldn't say its outdated, i haven't altered her appearance since that one was ripped, tho the fashion may have changed very sightly (I.E. she no longer has the thunder ponytail, but has the witches hat.) feel free to use any of the models as you see fit.

they don't change. all her faces appear at once. so it looks weird. we tried a rim lighting experiment LOL that was a bad idea. she came out SOOOO FREAKING SHINY! xD i think i'll add a pic of the swords by themselves. there are a few i like.

Lol... You better use a darker edge texture... I used Rim Lighting too, but it came out very shiny...

lol actually tira has a moveset planned.  she uses twin blades for the most part and will be more suited to mid range KO's. she'll have quite a few fairly wide aoe style attacks but they won't be set for killing more for croud control and set ups.

side b> Battousai/ion spike. toggleable. battousai shoots a whirlwind from her blades that pushes the opponant back (non KO move) ion is going to be one of the best kill moves hits a high damage spike straight up at a mid range.

b> Arme Neir/gemini slash: armeneir a mid to long range attack that will grow more powerful the farther you hit with it. gemini will be a powerful attack that wil ground aria oponants or smash grounded oponants into the ground.

down B> stalag strike/dark cloud bolt. will be togglable. stalag strike will stun grounded opponants with a paralyzer effect, for gound  set ups. dark cloud bolt i'm debating on whether i want it to knock opponants back at an angle up, or straight up. another set up for arials.

up B> Vortex: similar to links up B. same in air and on the ground. sucks an opponant inside and beats them around before tossing them out. good for an arme neir set up

a attacks will be pretty basic

taunts will toggle her stances.
up taunt> parchedblade used for stalag strike.

side taunt> Northern skywalts, increases damage on all attacks by sacrificing your def (weight)

down taunt> soulsever minuet. used for gemini slash and gives her heavy armor tho the kill potential is lower

final smash is sacrificial strike, lasts approximately 15 seconds. drastically increases your attack power and reduces the cool downs on most attacks and make you able to cancel on hit. trade off is you become really squishy able to be sent flying at lower percentages. you lose it if you die.

she did a few custom animations for sirks she does pretty well. she's a perfectionist and often spends hrs on each animation. i can get some video's of the seeker moves later for reference.

looks like BlackRose wins, most of the seeker base will have a deviation of the same moves. i'm probably gonna see what i can do to tweak and add my own spin on the moves.

the Air dodge poll is for our version were making. its a bit of a meshup of all sorts of different mods from B-, PM, as well as vanilla and +. The air dodge machanics can be changed fairly easily with a code or 2 unless we use both in the mix, wich will need to be done thru psa. i also have to give Dant a big thx for pointing us in the right direction for coding the new mode.

Well see... :P Dustyy knows what she's looking for but can't find a tuorial that doesn't involve a usb gecko. as thats no longer manufactured its a bit of a pain. i think dolphins debug mode has similar features but i'm not much of a coder myself.

(no characters or stages to give yet) it uses an older brawl minus base from before max, elements of PM, and B+ as well to give a polished, fast paced, gameplay that gives plenty of control over your characters movement, favoring reflexes and player skill for more unique combo's.

We're trying to make the mode spawn bombs like in a real sudden death. however were pulling it away from the 300% damage and other factors to be able to stack it with other modes as well. i'm not exactly sure where dustyy is in that. i'm not much of a coder.

Releasing the 2.1 engine were using for myth. we removed the Cbliss, and Expansion stages we use since you can add your own. We also use a modified file patch made by Don Jon Bravo for multiple folders (place an rsb4 folder next to the rsbe folder, use the same file paths as rsbe inside).  we plan to fill both rosters with custom characters when were finished. anyway we need feed back. We are going to balance the characters at around around the brawl minus capabilities. oh and currently we're using melee style air dodge.

Also @ the team I fixed a few more freezes with the Sirks PSA I'll send you the files tonight after school. Also which weapons do you want Sirks to use?

edit: Just saw your post above mine, As for the modes I'm still trying to isolate the code that spawns the bombs with dolphin. However I'm more looking into the limit and limitless modes atm.

After much fidgeting around were happy to announce we managed to make 3ds max work finally since the last update. for some reason after the update happened everything went screwy, imports not shading correctly, having the correct weight, some not even showing up! forget about rigging. we fixed most issues with running it in compatibility mode for vista.

Thank you ^^ she needs a lot of work still. the model still needs to be rigged and optomised. we also will need to finish her PSA. once we get more streamlined on this project and finnish up a few things i might see i i can get this moved to the general projects section for feed back altho i want to finish a few more models and PSA's before that. so far we have a pretty universal codeset finished it should work with most PSA's, however i have found a few mods *like the newest maverick hunter X mod* don't work. since he has a dash over his air dodge, the momentum halt from the PM style air dodge makes him T stance then the game freezes. the GCT is in the first post if anyone wishes to try it.

     Dustyy saves us again! we now have 3ds max 2015 with a 3 year license, actually compatible with windows 8! Dx hurray! we also are experimenting with another new program to make new, updated base models from scratch. expect pictures soon!

     Has anyone tried the GCT? i would like some verification that it works for others (i used to have cbliss and stage expansion among other things in there. i want to make sure i removed everything from it) the link is in the OP. our goal for the codeset is to make it compatible with as many PSA's as possible. We use a melee styled airdodge so certain characters are affected till we can set up air dodge individually for each character or thru PSA.

     Lastly, anyone know a free alternative to bodypaint 3d? we used to have it but lost it when our last computer fried, and its a $400 program. would rather not buy it if i can find another program (surprised there isn't a plug in for gimp, i know PS has one but that's not exactly free....)

3ds max doesn't wanna download Dx gonna torrent the files then activate it that way with our keys. also testing the GCT on a friends wii, it caused freezing.  don't use it for now. wait till we upload the fix. we've added more tweaks to speed up gamplay and more.

were trying to get BeX working on Myth but having issues. help would be appreciated if anyone wants to contribute.

got 3ds max and BeX working with myth! on another note we finished another outfit for sirks just to experiment with new features. (max 15 has a 3d canvas for painting textures woot!) still have a lot to figure out. it lists all the models and ones as a hierachy rather then a list, probably more useful that way but i'm still getting used to it. we'll post pictures of progress tonight, hopefully a release soon as well.

her name is Rydel, and correct she is an OC and custom model, all the characters are going to be OC's for this project. lol she still needs some work, were optimizing her for brawl. she will probably be using the gunner PSA for zss as a base till we get time to work on it.

this one seems to have a different cause then the chameleon glitch we experienced before with the tail. rather then taking textures from another model it seems to randomly take textures off its self in game. anyone know what i need to do to fix it?

there is a bug with the latest brawlbox, check the liberternies brawlbox page for a fix
or
reimport your characters using another brawlbox version
i like brawlbox 67b very much

it could also be your textures format
try having all of them in cmpr

btw you guys have the sexiest mods to exist  :srs:

if u still cant get it working, pm me the stuff and ill check it out sometime this week,
if possible because i may travel to another country because of work

pretty sure we can figure out the rigging part, if you want to help feel free to. we have rose's models ripped atm i'll send you them via PM after i upload them. just a heads up they will be in monochrome format so the textures will be grey in some parts.

Sirks 8th outfit is started (a more tribal looking one), We are also starting on Devaliah's model. (not showing the sexy vampire just yet, she's far from finished) and we are also fixing up the UV maps on some of the older models we created. Hopefully we can fix some of the pixilation that way and make the textures more crisp.

Last: I've been trying to use dolphin to test our hacks in dolphin. but for some reason it won't read any of my wii games in wbfs format (it supports it and worked on the last computer), i even tried converting the wbfs format to an iso file with no luck (wii back up manager won't create an iso from the file) anyone had this issue? i'm using windows 8.1, the previous computer was windows 7, and this happens with any game not just brawl.

Sweet Jesus its been a long time since i've posted here >.< and the thread necroed after only a week? wtf.... anyway on to business! we got dolphin working for the most part with a few kinks here and there. we have all of sirkura's outfits on the virtual SD card but it only reads the first mesh loaded (guessing this is because of the speedups we used to cache certain things in the system to increase play speed) second we are only running approximately 30-50 FPS so just over half speed usually... while this isn't a problem play wise,  it is an issue with the audio. it comes out extremely choppy. Now enjoy a video!
