I'm updating this thread again, so come by once in a while :srs:
I decided to add a list of the projects I'll be making, including request I said I'd make. Order may vary but I'll list the ones I remember. I may put some other hack unannounced but I think I need a list cause of the growing amount of projects I have atm :P

Damn.  You've got some pretty cool stuff here.  I love that Lagi Armor Hunter that you made.  The textures kinda mess up on some stages though.

Also, great job with Ray.  This site needs more Custom Robo stuff.

Thank you loads for importing the Red Alloy over Falcon!  Also love the Monster Hunter and the Subspace Warrior.  You're a very good model importer :)

 I've got a request my man. if you will do this epic request.

I have three models that need to get done. if you are willing to do them. i have them and they are already in MDLO format. they are the Gatchamen.

Ken the Eagle = Captain Falcon
Joe the Condor = Snake
Jun the Swan = Peach.

if you wouldn't mind doing these people. i have the models and textures. it's for a future project i wish to get done.
and one other suggestion you should do the Rx-78-2 Gundam.

P.S : i love the alloys.

FireMan.EXE, eh?

My vote's for Captain Falcon. FireMan's a pretty tall Navi, CF's got a few fire attacks and I can't recall any other character native to the Brawl cast that holds qualities like that. Give him a Fire Flower and there's his Fire Arm from the games, sorta.

And who wouldn't love to use FireMan PAWNCH?  :kdance:

That is true.

Sadly, the only ranged fire attacks I can think of belong to characters of smaller stature, like the Mario brothers and the EB kids, or Zelda who...Doesn't quite strike me as being a fit, either...Heh heh.

Maybe we could get a chibi sized FireMan too? Just need the Press Navi Customizer part  :af:

@ Solar99: I´m not making a psa for him,  at least not right now (I had it in mind :P). If I do one I could just do it over someone else. I once began a PSA using a ganandorf model over wolf (back on the vertexing days). It worked normally, I just never really finished and it got forgotten.

@Velen: about the UV template and textures... Well you see, there might be a problem with that. I have never modeled anything before ( I got bored and gave it a shot). So UV are most likely weird or at least I think so. The texture is VERY simple. Since I was just doing it out of boredom, I did not want to waste effort on creating a texture myself (my goal was to see if I could model it). So I just took I from Megaman Battle Network Transmission (GC game). I also do not know exactly what a UV template is :P.

If you want, explain to me what you mean and I´ll be glad to provide it to you.

Okay. Here is the quick run down on UVs and UV templates.

Go to and click the Select by Name button. Go through and select the polygons for Fireman. (They have a sphere icon next to their name), and select all of them using the Ctrl key.

Go to Modifiers > UV Coordinates > Unwrap UVs. Fireman's wireframe will turn green to indicate that the UVs have been "unwrapped" A button titled EDIT will appear in the modifers panel. Click it.

The Edit UV window will open up. Go to Tools > Render UV Template. When it shows up, click the floppy disk icon to save it as a .PNG.

There you go.

Iwvi, niice work on da mettaur virus. metaknight was a good choice, he actually poses a threat in brawl.. and it looks really smooOooth with the cellshadedness.

Well, I do not have the models. I made Fireman cause I was trying 3D modeling. I have a Model for Gutsman but since it is the GC version it is really ugly.
yea, i got both megaman.exe's and roll.exe's model except they only look niice from a distance and with da in-game effects from network transmission. for brawl, they'd need a ultra buff

That's right. I got starman and other navi's. They need some work to adjust to the new era. They are old school GC models, but are really cool.

I only made the megaman related ones. I learnt from a tutorial called "low poly character creation" or something like that, its one where the guy is making a human wearing a white coat and red hair. Look it up, it's really simple.

Whoa! How did you get Ren Toa's model? Did you get them from the PS2 game? If you have Horohoro's (Trey) model could you please either put it over a character that would fit him or send me it so I can rig it on a character because I would really like to see Horohoro in Brawl. I do have that model. But I forgot :P. I hate when they call him Trey though. I still don't know where to put him.

For those wondering where the rest of the characters are:
Nero over link: both are left handed, and other stuff that I have in mind.
Yoh over pit: Revamp of the vertex, had a an idea of what to do with pits wings.
Cholobe over wolf: animal like fighting style

For now Yoh seems to be winning. Nero is next.

I'm gonna finish Yoh, then Nero. I had the devi trigger in mind as his FS eyes but I'm afraid that  would make his filesize too big. I'll try and see If it works.

Good eye Ninka. I indeed used the suit of a turk from crisis core as a base (I think it was called Reno, that guy with red hair and a stick). In fact I changed almost nothing to the suit. I used the turk's suit, the tony head model was made by a deviant art user, wich I still need to find :P. But I retextured the head, since I did not like the one it originally had. And hands are from ZSS retextured.
And yes he is Tony Stark.

It's for the Armor OS to work properly. If you use Yoh without it the only difference will be that when you get the smash ball the Armor OS will remains still. It will be as if the armor OS is in T-pose. Its just for that, you can use Yoh without it and have no problem other than an odd loking armor :P

Worry not, It's just a bone placement issue. I'm not sure how to call it. The problem is that links feet are higher than Nero's. So the boone to move the foot is farther up than it should. I thought I'd  resize the model to have higher feet. But It looked weird, so I thought of something else. Can link be sizemoded without a motion? cause if so, I cuould just move his boots a little bit up and move the resize bone down so he is on the floor.

So I am back and updating this thread, decided to do something for my return and so I'll make a request. There are some ground rules though:
 - Nothing Shadow related
 - Won't make ANY Sonic madeup character
 - Only model Import, since it is the point of this topic
 - It would be awesome if the requester had the model, but not necessary.
 - In case the first one does not want a request, the second one gets it, and so on.

Anyway, now that I'm back, hope you enjoy this place.

Cool, I got the .pmd script already. I used it for something long ago, but can't remember for what. You sure it is ok to use the model? MMD artist tend to be more picky when it comes to use of their models. Anyway, I'll blame you if something arises :P .

after if you arrive to import the model giving by kyouma because  it seems a really high quality model so maybe it will be difficult

 it would be awesome if you could work your nero model you worked on the character you want between marth , ike , and link

and if it is not possible if you like yuna i have had two element for do her like this : Final Fantasy 10 Yuna Dance 1080p HD (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBrGrG4fsTU#ws)
and if theses elements are rig i will create a retexture in the best quality existing thousand times the max quality i could have on the other model texture because this model of yuna is totally compatible with a software so she could be exactly like in the cinematic in brawl

about yuna in the cinematic she has a staff and the legs and foot are without boots
so i have recreated a staff and legs for her i would like recreate all the texture using the cinematic texture so i need exactly the same yuna

i don't know if do this changes ask to rerig the character or maybe only the adds would be to rig

my friend the randomizer is ok about theses changes but can not do him self so if you would want  help me it would be great

yuna is one of rare model wich can be totally retextured i would like do a real cinematic texture with the best graphism brawl can have

I don't see why the model has to be the same for you to texture it, nor do I see what makes the model any different from others. Why can't other models be totally retextured?

And yeah adding the staff is really easy, not sure about the legs but I guess I can try.

about yuna it is because i will capture screen with everypart of yuna in this cinematic if only a part is not from this cinematic it would be strange imagine a mario with th high in mario 64 and the legs in mario gameboy when a retexture complete ask to have all the part exactly in the same time because the light , the shadow... all change from a cinematic to another and i find the clothes with  the light shadow of this cinematic i posted is the best moment the other appear too bright or too dark or too blue and this is my favorite scene of the game

about models can be retextured full or not :

it is because i use a software wich give the way to retexture directly a model 3d we can modify the texture already created or begin with a model totally white netherless in fonction of the work on the uvmap by the creator of the 3d model the character can have few part only wich can be retextured , or have no part posssible to retexture for exemple for james bond i was working , the model can not be changed so i have only work on editing software netherless
when he is totally possible to retexture can have exactly the quality of a picture so if it is a cinematic the character will be in cinematic quality

goku was quasi possible to retexture but there was some break in the uvmap of the model  so i have used 30 picture one for every part this too for have the best quality possible but if goku was like yuna model this one would have no difference with the anime

another exemple yoh model you imported is possible to quasi retextured the face but the others parts have a uvmap of square color by one color so retextured the clothes creates only lines of colors not textures
 


it is possible too on this software to create a custom uvmap wich would give the way to recreated all pictures we want and quality of all the model netherless it ask to rig another time the model if a new uvmap cutomized is used

that s why i  use no uvmap customized , i use the normal and when the texture is created i import the texture and works on them only not on the model 3d

@ agent-s: Oh now I get it thanks. I do believe you can edit UVs and reimport with no need of rerigging. And I'll  see what I can do when I'm done with Kyama's request and my new favorite character, CLAPTRAP! he is just too awesome.

@Ninka, It was filesize indeed, then the legs were being mean. To be fair it was one of the first models I tried to import. But I would have to restart in order to get him right. And I am just getting back to active modding so I have him on hold.

@Zerotwo: It's fine, I wanted to do this since some time. Just did not know if anyone would be interested in it. Also people said rigging over bowser was a horrible experience, so I kept putting it of. It was rather easy cause they had basically the same skeleton, only the head is different.

I'll be releasing him either tonight or tomorrow. It is done, but I won't be home to release it.

Hm... Perhaps I'm just nitpicking here... But it looks like the rig could use a little more refining. The shoulders look off, and perhaps the neck too. But I can't really 100% tell from that screenshot.

Shoulders are fine. The neck is not as good, but It was the best I could get, since I had to stretch it for it to be wi-fi safe. Bowser's head and Giga's head are of very different sizes. But I really like how the rig worked out overall.

Great job on Giga Bowser. I've played around with him for a while and haven't noticed any issues aside from the thumbs, which look a little odd during victory animations. Everything other than that is perfect, though. No lighting issues, no ugly animations, no freezes, no de-syncs, no nothin'.

I went on a "trip" I'll be studying away from home and had to go and check where I was gonna stay. Anyway, I'll be making that touhou girl Kyuma, don't worry. I just had a few hacks to finish before. But I promise my next hack will be that girl :P. After that you'll see something really funny. Of which I'll post previews tomorrow.

@DevMasters: Well, I still want to import him. But honestly I have waaaay too many projects. Feel free to import him. I don't know If there is a model online. I have yet to T-pose the one I have, though.

I couldn't get them to work then. I still don't think I could today. If someone can then let me know.

EDIT: So since most of my friends who lived close by moved and I'm bored pretty much all day. I decided, I'll give porting Black shadow a shot. When I first put ganon's animations to it it looked horribly thin but after some adjustments I got him to work. I only need to rig the cape (only thing I'll be actually rigging :P).

Well, I got him ingame. Still need expresions and materials and stuff. But damn is Ganon HUGE!
Never noticed how big he was. Here is Falcon BS and Ganon BS side by side.

I also kinda textured his cape so it is not as plain as Falcon's version.

EDIT: Anyone has pictures or knows what all of ganons expressions look like? (ridicule, Alaud, are not used by most characters)

Aloud and Ridicule look like they're used for his laugh (Win3)

Ridicule is him squinting (eyes, brows), Aloud controls his mouth (open/closed)

Dunno if that helps or not.

Oh yeah. I guess I worded that a bit awkwardly. My bad. ;D I meant that Metroid is my favorite, but I'd rather have Black Shadow than anyone, even a Metroid character. I do think Dark Samus would fit in the Smash cast perfectly in terms of how she would play, but F-Zero really needs another character. I was so pissed when I found out Samurai Goroh was an AT when they revealed him on the Dojo. I thought he was playable at first.

@Animaine: I don't think that can be done. He doesn't use any GFX. Maybe using that method that adds GFX (used on sasuke) I'll get the bull in there.

Well Weavel has been done on Falco before, although he doesn't have a size mod or anything so he's really small. If they were to go over different characters, Noxus seems to me like he'd fit Lucario pretty well, Sylux would probably work with Samus or Falcon, Kanden likely the same, Trace could work with several different characters with his weird body design and all (Lucario, Wolf, Sheik maybe?), and Spire... idk. Bowser? Ganon?

So, I got him expresions and stuff. They work perfectly inside brawlbox but ingame... they are weird. On first try his head exploded into those really weird planes that went to infinity. On the second try it just deformed his body and then it froze. But I'm getting there.

Asi es, he estado reduciendo lo posible sin reducir la calidad del modelo. Pero realmente no se que decir. Hay un gran desperdicio de vertices por todas partes.

usa primero lo del wield (conviertes en editable poly, seleccionas todo, scrolleas abajito a donde dice wield, ledas click en el cuadrito no en el boton donde dice; cambias el numero a 0,01 y ya) despues del wield ya es recomentable usar el prooptimizer, o almenos asi lo hago yo el wield es magico, porque elimina todos los vertices encimados, y los modelos de MMD tienen mucho a eso porqe para efectos y spec maps utilizan capas "fisicas" sobre el modelo

Lo he notado. Lo de weld siempre lo hago, para tener todo en un solo elemento y sin problemas. Pero el prooptimizer no me agrada tanto. Al menos no en estos casos. Deja todo raro.

por lo general los modelos de MMD tienen 7 texturas, yo acostumbro tenerlas en 256x256 y guardarlas en jpeg para generar menor espacio posible, ademas de prooptimizar a un maximo de 60% solo en los objetos que lo requieran, solo asegurate que el total de vertices no revase los 8 000 y creo que todo ira bien

I love that scene. I have it memorized, if I ever need to deliver an awesome pre-ass-kicking speech (Very unlikely) I have the whole Ezekiel 25:17 ready. About F-Zero, yeah, it needs more playable representatives. I also wanted to import Goro over someone (but I believe that was done) maybe on wario just for fun. And The skull, pico, and that guy that loked like eggman and mario fused together.

I was going to import Goroh over Ganon a while ago for a PSA I've been meaning to work on for the past 4 years, but I don't think it's gonna happen, so I encourage you to do so. If you do though, I don't recommend using the Assist Trophy model because it's absolute garbage. He has no fingers, and it's pretty low-poly. I'd recommend a custom one maybe. I dunno. Your call. :1

There are some chances.  But I'm semi-retired at the moment. Cause college and stuff. So, I'll get back to mods when I get a break from school. I have around a month until school ends. After that, It's quite possible.
