Title: How to move eyes in Brawlbox?
Post by: Chaos_Knight on August 10, 2012, 10:36:35 PM
Wasn't sure where to post this. How do move eyes in BrawlBox? I'm trying to pose a model.

Most characters use SRT0 to animate their eyes.

However, if all you're trying to do is pose a model, you could pose the model with the iris texture turned off, take a snapshot, open it in an image editing program, then add the iris texture in the appropriate places... but if you're not familiar with photo editing, I recommend trying SRT0 first.

Does Marth use SRT0? That's the character I'm posing.

Yes.

An easy way to check is to open up a character's MotionEtc, expand FitMarthMotion, and if there is an AnmTxtSrt folder, then the character uses SRT0.

Or just check if the character has an iris texture.

Ok, so how do I move the eyes exactly? Is it a certain bone?

No, the actual texture moves. It's a bit hard to explain, but... well, I suggest actually fooling around with it. No better way to learn something than to actually do it. Sorry I can't be much help there.
