Hi there, some days ago, I downloaded the last version of Brawlbox, so i made an import.  It's closely finished, so I wanna share the Wip here:

Looks good, though I think you should tone down the muscles some. I don't remember Serge being so buff.

And his face needs more editing to look less like Marth.

Can't wait to see him done.

Thanks to both. I know, jaja, he's a bit builted but i remember that his PS1 battle model has a strong calf muscle :D
Oww if I edit the face, then I must edit the other 4 x_X. I'll add it to the TODO List.

Hey, I like it. I was hoping someone would do this. If you finish the Swallow, then it's yet another model I'll try to PSA when I get off school... unless someone more talented claims it first.

Hi! I made some improvement to the model. Now, he has a completely new face ^^
The face were edited to look less like Marth and more like Serge. What do you think?

Use whatever 3D program gives you decent lighting and take a screen cap.

Most of us use BrawlBox, then edit the image a bit in photoshop to get something that looks nice.

You have done an amazing job with this model.  It's incredible.  That swords pretty cool looking.  Do you still intend to make a swallow weapon?  That csp holding the Mastermune or another swallow would be amazing.  It's about time someone with skill made a Chrono Cross model.  No one ever makes them.  What are the chances you'd make a Kid model when you're all done with this one?  I think I'd actually pay you to make it just to be able to get the Radical Dreamers into Brawl.

If Serge gets a swallow, I'll still be up for PSA'ing it. I have learned much and am eager to have an honest-to-goodness video game character that needs the TLC.
...Maybe I could get an animator to help me. Sergei uses both ends of the swallow, just like he should.

The author of the sword doesn't answer me, so I'll start a new swallow. When I finished it, I will release the 3 versions. But before, anyone know if there's a chance to load the original animations in 3dsmax??

The Mastermune is the greatest weapon ever made hands down.  Don't know if it's got too much detail to import into brawl or something though.

Azure_Shadow, if you're still planning on PSA'ing Serge, its cool that he's over Ike.  I think Ike's forward B move would work pretty well as Serge's Dash&Slash tech.  It'd work even better if he ended up behind the enemy after going "through" them.  Just started looking into all the Brawl hacking stuff though so I'm not entirely sure on the limitations of PSA's and animating through Brawl Box etc.

I don't think so. If you somehow managed to do it though, that would make his PSA a bit easier. I'd still need to ask some animators for help with his other moves though- even if he uses a lot of elements in Chrono Cross, elemental PSAs are generally looked down on here and I think most of his attacks should be physical. I'd probably use Lumiere as his final smash and have just 1-3 other elemental attacks, depending.

Ike's >B code wouldn't be a good way to go for that, although the attack itself would be fairly easy to PSA from scratch. But I'm not committing to making a full PSA until this is released and I get an animator's help.

Anyway, here's the swallow. Its a bit low poly... but I think that it'd look OK in the game:

Thanks and... well, after an afternoon filled by 'beeps of death' I managed to make the version with the Highpoly Mastermune. Some problems comes with the size of the textures and the reflective shader added to the edges xD

You are the man!!!!  This all looks amazing.  When I first saw the low-poly Mastermune, I thought "Holy crap! That looks just like the cc ingame model in battles.  That's awesome."  But that high-poly Mastermune blows EVERYTHING away.  That is amazing.  You seriously took it to another level with that.  This is the best brawl model I have ever seen.  Hands down.  Amazing job.

Actually, if you compare Serge's game-art, art from the various official books released for the game and so on, this is the correct color of his eyes.  They are only blue for ingame battles and cutscenes.  It's kind of funny.  If you look at his battle model in-game, there isn't any yellow on his bandana, he's never wearing his necklace and the mastermune doesn't have the loop in the center of it to hold onto.  So really, blue or the magenta-ish color.  Either one is right.

I've been watching this thread for awhile. I may not know much about Chrono Cross, but that is best custom model of Serge I have ever seen. Great job and I hope to see more from you. ;D

I second this, 1000 percent.  Slayersnext, this model went so well, that I'd go as far as to possibly beg you to make a Kid model.  Permitting you got the time of course.  The one Kid model that's out there isn't that great.  It's definitely not on the level of THIS model of Serge.  If you made a Kid model this great, I could get the Radical Dreamers back together with Serge, Kid and Magil (Magus).    :af2:

Now, abut the eyes. It's based on the artwork, where he has them purple (even when he talks in the game). At first they were blue, but then, the face only have 2 colors. Purple gives more... color to the model.

About make something for Ike,  I have some ideas for him:

The recolors are fine. No problem about that. Thanks! The PSA, It would be cool.  I'll be watching for it!

Lol, I'm guessing from that Wild Arms video that you're planning on a Rudy Roughnight model over Ike.  That's a pretty good fit.  They look pretty similar.  Another good fit over Ike might be Glenn from Chrono Cross with the Einlanzer.  I'm not exactly sure which character Kid would be a good fit for.  I think the only one that anyone has made for Kid is over zero-suit Samus and she's rocking two guns instead of daggers.  Kid might be a tough one to PSA since she uses kicks and both of her daggers, but she'd be amazing in brawl.

Sorry; not interested in doing a PSA for Kid. I'm interested in Chrono because I hope it will have a different playstyle than other Brawl characters to date, because he can use both ends of the Mastermune.
But if you ask me, I think Kid would fit well over Pit. Lots of his attacks use the split bow (which looks like a pair of daggers) and you might be able to change the arrow to look like a fire elemental.

Yeah, Serge is an interesting PSA seeing as he uses both ends of the swallow.  I can count the number of characters I've seen in games use a weapon like a swallow on one hand.  There aren't very many which definitely makes him unique.  Kid might be just as hard to PSA from scratch to use both kicks and her double daggers.  Kid over Pit might work.  It'd prolly be a good idea to do Kid over Zero-Suit Samus and then heavily reanimate and PSA her too seeing as she has a penchant for booting people in the face too.

I change some bone position to make her braid more realistic, but I need some info abut bone replacement. I know that's possible, but, it's possible make it only in one slot of a character? (Zelda in this case). Hope someone give me some answer and hope you enjoy with the screens :D
