now, i am using Beyond's riivo for gecko users. riivo laods up fine, but when i actually load teh game, it loads a little bit of the strap menu, tehn freezes, but no beep. i have no hacks on, so i have no clue the problem. Hear it happens whenever you plug in a regular Wiimote (but not a Wiimote Plus).

Try using a different XML and see if the issue still occurs. I know when I used beyonds XML it was missing some directories I hadn't noticed until I modified things and they didn't appear. Of course, this isn't doable on a Wii U. Also, the crash is NOT caused by Brawl being unable to figure out what kind of Wiimote (normal, nunchuck, classic controller) is being attached. I have determined this by hacking a code in Dolphin to force it to use a specific kind of Wiimote. It does work as I have tested it with GeckoOS.
