Title: Custom Music on Stage Expansion Pack 2.0 won't work. Post by: BriefCasey795 on June 18, 2014, 07:08:06 PM So recently, and I have no idea why, but for some odd reason, my custom songs on custom stages stopped playing, and even after getting rid of some codes for stages I don't even use, and I ensure I have Dantarion's CSE code and ensuring all the BRSTMs are named correctly, it still happens, and I'm literally stumped because obviously, no custom music on my custom stages from the expansion pack is completely boring, and I need help on fixing this.
Another problem is that since It's been a long while since I last edited my GCT, I don't remember where I got about like 30% of my codes from, and even if I try rebuilding it from what I have, all the blank custom stages for the expansion pack are nothing but FD and Battlefield icons, and that's not good. Post by: DocStrange on June 19, 2014, 11:54:05 AM First off it seems, like most of the codes you're using besides the stage expansion are pretty basic and could probably be found easily just by googling brawl codes or something like that, I'm sure you could find a forum post with most of them.
For the stage expansion, I would strongly suggest getting libertyernie's stage expansion pack (his topic is almost always near the top of the general hacking forum on this site) I remember having trouble with eternalyoshi's pack but this one has generally worked fine. As for your music problem, are the stages just silent or do they play weird scrambled versions of other songs? Possibly the former and definitely the latter can be fixed by copying everything on your sd card, formatting the card and simply pasting everything back on. Idk why but custom music seems to get screwed up very easily if you frequently add or remove things from your sd card without formatting. I'm not sure if that helps in your case, but regardless I would just recommend salvaging or re-finding any codes you want and getting ernie's sss pack. Then just whenever you want to make changes to your hacks make a copy on your computer, mess with them there, format your sd card and paste everything over at once and you shouldn't have problems. Does Ernie's SSS pack work in a similar way? For instance, is it the sams sc_selmap? Because It's gonna be hard for me getting everything back together if I switch from Eternal Yoshi's to ernie's.
