My question is: Is there a way to change the voices of the characters? For example, have the real voice of Shadow when used.

Aren't there pre-hexed textures with different fighter voices?

Voices can't be pre-loaded w/ textures. You need to edit the one file w/ all the SFX and voices.

Maybe someday, someone will get to that.

Somebody already did it. Wave posted it in the Off-Topic discussion. It has Ryan Drummond for Sonic's voices. And Shadow's original voice actor.

Ryan Drummond is THE Sonic voice.

Ryan Drummond is a better Knuckles than he is Sonic. So much so, that his Knuckles voice is...worth listening to.

Denial? Quite the opposite. I, unlike you other guys, know that Ryan Drummond is gone, accept it, embrace it, and even enjoy it, now that Jason has officially surpassed him and David Humphrey.

I remember Sonic fans started hating the series due to the voice change...but anyway. Eggman's voice change couldn't be helped at least. The original died after all. Then again that's Eggman anyway.

If you don't like Ryan's voice that's you. Some of us do. A non-Sonic fanboy perspective would be a different argument though.

All of Sonic voices fail, all but Shadows from S.A. 2. (English voices at least, in 95% of Sonic's games they don't go with the character mouth =/, Sonic Team gotta reforce there, the Translations they're making are worse everytime.)

I gotta stop you there. Whether you love or hate either Ryan or Jason, there is no argument on Jaleel.

Edit: Well I didn't, but you still can see I referred to the games when I spoke about 95% of the games of Sonic.)

Three games. Three games where the character's mouths do not move with the words being spoken.

When you say that it makes me wonder, do you mean he rocked or he sucked, because personally I preferred him.

Jaleel kicked ass as Sonic. If they do end up firing Jason, hiring Jaleel would be the smart move to make.

I would say only as a last resort, Jason is doing a fine job for now.

I guess I just miss Jaleel, and chilidog chompin' Sonic for that matter, but we're kinda getting off topic, so, Do you think there will ever be an easier way to replace voices, like through automation?

I can, or anybody can? And what do you mean "fill in the rest"?

I mean use your imagination, but, I will put it in frank terms, when you select Pat, he would say Mii, which sounds like Me. [that quote thing was getting really long]
