Title: Ran out of space on ISO Post by: Aron on April 29, 2016, 04:32:05 PM So when I tried to install a new .brasr file with WiiScrubber it said "Unable to find free space :(". What do I do about this situation?
Title: Re: Ran out of space on ISO Post by: Ebola16 on April 29, 2016, 04:40:59 PM Make a backup before editing the .iso just in case. Deleting dummy1.dat and dummy2.dat will give you a lot of space. I can't remember their exact location but it's near the root directory. Those files are used as padding to fill up the disc (completely unneeded in an .iso).
Post Merge: April 29, 2016, 04:49:01 PM That previous advice was for recompiling the .iso with WIT. If you're using WIIscrubber, you can't delete those files but you can replace them with a really small file. Extract the dummy#.dat files and use a hex editor to edit the files so that they only contain a single 00 value. It doesn't really matter what the files contain though since they're not read. |
