Title: How to lower a character's brightness?
Post by: Xirvet on September 04, 2016, 08:08:48 PM
So I downloaded this Lloyd PSA ( http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=205741 (http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=205741) ) and while it works absolutely fine, the model is too bright so I wanted to know how you can lower a model's brightness.

Mmmm... well you can try decreasing the brightness of the textures. Like opening the model with brawlbox, extracting the textures and using an image editor like photoshop or gimp to decrease the brightness, then save them, and re-import them in brawlbox :P

If that didn't work, try checking out the shader of the model in brawlbox.Sorry, I should think of something better.

Just FYI, I'm not sure if the shaders of Lloyd are corrupted but there is a noticeable visual difference between Dolphin and a real Wii. I made an issue for this model some time ago in Dolphin's issue tracker. https://bugs.dolphin-emu.org/issues/9268#change-724417

Ah that makes sense! So it's a Dolphin emulation issue then. Sucks but I can live with it
