Title: is converting FBX or fuse files to mdl0 or pac formats possible Post by: Snipes88 on October 30, 2016, 12:49:59 PM I am currently trying my hands at my first model hack, and I used Fuse to make the model, I was wondering if I could convert the files to the required format(s) at all. I am a noob at this stuff, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Title: Re: is converting FBX or fuse files to mdl0 or pac formats possible Post by: Snipes88 on October 30, 2016, 01:32:06 PM Everytime I replace the .mdl0 file with the .dae file, the BrawlBox crashes. Any idea how to fix this?

Title: Re: is converting FBX or fuse files to mdl0 or pac formats possible Post by: windhunter7 on October 30, 2016, 01:42:24 PM Ok, then it may be the version of the .fbx/.dae; see if it will still crash if you replace it in an earlier version of BrawlBox, like .71
Title: Re: is converting FBX or fuse files to mdl0 or pac formats possible Post by: Snipes88 on October 30, 2016, 01:43:31 PM do you want the .dae file I'm using and the .pac file I am trying to add it to?

Title: Re: is converting FBX or fuse files to mdl0 or pac formats possible Post by: windhunter7 on October 30, 2016, 06:51:27 PM Upon importing, make sure that it's set to "ForceFloat" on all three of the things at the top.(Or checkboxes, if you're using a really old version of BrawlBox), and this should theoretically fix it; if not, let me know.

Title: Re: is converting FBX or fuse files to mdl0 or pac formats possible Post by: windhunter7 on October 30, 2016, 09:57:37 PM Ok, so, I would actually recommend downloading either Blender or 3DS Max and re-rig it to one of Brawl's skeletons, since the Mixamo skeleton is entirely different, as well as the size being totally different.
