Title: Problems with installing SSBB mods in Dolphin
Post by: supersonic78 on May 05, 2017, 08:50:31 PM
I've been wanting to have mods in SSBB and I've downloaded a few of them. However, no methods in putting mods in Brawl have ever worked for me.

I tried putting the mods in the SD.raw and using Gecko OS but I always received "Too Many Codes" error or something. I tried putting gameconfig.txt to the SD.raw but it only ended up putting more characters in the roster which will trigger infinite error pop-ups in Dolphin.

I've also tried the WiiScrubber but it only ended up making the ISO unreadable to Dolphin by saying that it's not a valid Wii game.

When you say that you used WiiScrubber, did you open it, load the ISO, expand stuff, and then Replace files individually? Because I've never ever had any errors like what you mentioned when doing this, and I've used WiiScrubber like so for very many screenshots and testing of most of my mods

which version are you using? Did you download it from the kc-mm Resources? And you did it with the second data partition and not the first?

The version is 1.40 from here: https://filetrip.net/wiiu-downloads/other-files/download-wiiscrubber-kit-with-multiloader-1-40-f4399.html. I dunno anything about the partition stuff.

In WiiScrubber, what you do is you click Load ISO, then press Enter to any errors that pop up, expand Partition 2 - DATA, and these would be the equivalent of a pf folder, where you right-click a file, click Replace, and pick the file to replace it

Do NOT touch Partition 1; that contains the information for booting the game up
