For a Captain Falcon texture hack I'm working on, I need to know two things:

1. What part of his arm is the shoulder?

2. How do I remove the Captain Falcon symbol on his back without making his back look cel-shaded?

2. Intricate use of the heal tool and manual editing to make the back "continuous" on both the normal texture AND the specularity map (the grayscale image of it).

1. use 3ds max or Maya
2. clone tool in photoshop

I remade his back and have it as a base captain falcon texture.

Do you have It available for download somewhere or could you email It to me? I managed to get the placement of his shoulders right which means that the only thing I need to do now is remove the Captain Falcon symbol on his back.

I am not putting up the texture for download, since alot of people will use it without crediting. Plus, make your own.

That's why I asked If you could email It to me. I would give you credit for It and I won't give It to anyone else, Plus I already tried making my own which is why I'm asking you to email It to me. I thought people in a community where supposed to help each other but I guess I was wrong.

Well then could someone make one for me then? I already tried to do It myself and It wasn't even close to looking good. I really want to release that texture as soon as possible so If someone could please remove the symbol on his back for me without It looking cel-shaded I would be greatly appreciative and I would give them credit for It.

clone stamp + patch tool = your best friend.

1. Why should i be giving you special attension? Why should you be the only one in the community to have the texture base. I like to be fair and if i give it to you, i would have to give it to other people.

2. People on this community are helpful. I help people with things that everyone has to do (ie mipmaps, hexing etc). If someone else is willing to upload a texture base, good for them, but personally, i think people should do their own work and release it, so they can take full credit for all the visual things.

I gave up after 15 tries because It always came out looking like that. If It's too much to ask for help here then I'll ask other texture hackers at random until I find someone who will help me.

I did use. The. Clone. Tool. What do you think that is? The problem is I don't know how to use the clone tool in a way that I can make this look good. And I just know I'd be too much to ask how to use It effectively, So I'm not even going to bother.

You don't know how to clone different sections so it looks more consistent? ...wow

PAV, if it's giving you that much trouble just put the planet symbol on his back, too. it'll get rid of this problem and you'll stop harrassing everyone about it lmao. like i did with the pepsiman texture. it might not make the texture 100% correct, but it saves time XD
