I tried looking this up, but even the most basic tutorials failed to have important details.

How exactly do I replace Brawl's opening cutscene with the THP I have now? I don't know where the file goes, or what to do with it, or anything.

I did use that texture pack, so that's good...

But what I did was, I opened it and used the "SFX" folder. They all seem to have the same stuff in them, so I sort of jus tpicked one at random.

I put the "Fit Marth OG" file as the "FitMarth01" (in my case). It didn't... do anything really, so I took it out and switched it for that texture pack.

Then I took out the FitMarth.Pac that was already there and deleted it, and put it into the Marth folder as is. That... I dunno. Then I took the Fit Motion and put it in as well.

I might have done something wrong there, but I don't know. xD A lot of stuff just seems really awkward. Some movements, the taunts... seem really, really weird.

I very well might have just put the files in incorrectly, but...

- The moveset acts really fidgety and awkward.
- There isn't a texture, even though, I thought there was one. o_O Do I need to use a different texture or something?
- OG Sephiroth doesn't... 'become invincible'...
- All textures assigned to Marth now use the clunky Sephiroth moveset.

I figured this is all because I put the files in wrong. Could someone help me out?

Thanks. ^^

Alright, thanks. ^^

Could I request some CPSs for my weird Pkmn trainer setups?

One of them is Red(eyes covered), with Bowser Jr., Ridley, and Biollante.

The other one is Brendan with Kyogre, Grotle, and Shadow Lugia.

xD I know, I'm weird.

Well, I'd like that if I can get into the Brawlbox and make my character select nice. xD But that's probably a PM conversation.

That is, if you don't mind me using you as a Brawlbox tutorial.  :af:

And, okay. So the one for Peach's final won't work like that? Alright. I'm still sort of confused, because the PT's one didn't do anything. xD

Alright, so, aside from the BrawlBox thing which probably shouldn't be worked out here, I solved ONE of the two issues... and the other two would be things requiring Brawlbox. =P

Well, I don't know how to use, or have--for that matter-- Brawlbox, so I can't do that very easily. >_<

But I realized that when I renamed the textures, the PAC was spelled wrong. I'm going to see if they work, and then I'll get rid of one and see if the other works...

EDIT: I tested Giga Bowser, and I think you're right; it seems like it won't work with a different texture for two different skins.

Well, what can I do for those others? Their format is like Fit___Final##.pac or something like that, if that helps define what went wrong with that.

Alright, so my last thread, I got one major thing done well. Aside from a couple of characters I didn't organize correctly, there are a few smaller issues that I don't feel are each deserving of their own "help" threads, so here they are...

1. One of my pokemon trainer(and pokemon) skins can't transform from pokemon to pokemon with a texture set. I figure it's because none of the pokemon came with .PAC files. What can I do about that?

2. I got a couple of giga bowser textures to go with a couple of bowser textures, and I thought I knew how to get them to work. But apparently I guessed wrong. This also applies to one pokemon trainer final smash that I got, and one peach final smash that I got... none of them work the way I think they were intended to. (Read: nothing changes.)

3. Some characters come with images that would be used for the large character select image. I know you need Brawlbox to MAKE them, but how do you apply existing ones? And how do they work, do they replace a corresponding texture? Or what?

And if you're lazy and think that was a tl;dr moment, then here's a condensed version.

1. .pac file problem.
2. Final smash-altering file problem.
3. Character select query.

Thanks for any help you guys can provide. xD I know this is weird to have a topic like this, but this is honestly the first community I've been apart of that provides technical help like this.

Seriously? o_O Cool. I didn't know that. xD I'm used to mods having to do that.

Thanks, you guys, that was what I was looking for. xD I actually figured this out off what you told me.

So, 00 is default for every character. 01-03 are team colors, and are omitted by characters who use one or the others as their default. AND THEN from 04 on, they don't fill up in any particular order.

So that list on SWF is exactly what I need. xD Problem solved! Thanks!

Bowser's default outfit is used with the green team in team battles, so 02 is not used with him.

... >_< Is there seriously a format to this? I was originally told, 00 is outfit 1, 01 is 2, and so on... and that worked for everyone.

Well, this may or may not be the problem.

EDIT: Actually, nevermind. >_< This might help, but it's not THE PROBLEM. THE problem is affecting characters who shouldn't be affected by that. I think.

EDIT 2: Okay, so, Red team defaults will skip 01, Green will skip 02, and Blue will skip 03?

Well, that's great and all, except for a few things.

Captain Falcon seems to bypass 01.
Donkey Kong seems to bypass 01 and 03.
Falco seems to bypass 01 and 02.
Fox seems to bypass 01.
Kirby seems to bypass 01 and 02.
Peach seems to bypass 01 and 03.
Samus seems to bypass 01.
Lucas, Meta Knight, Olimar, and Pit all also seem to bypass 01.

These are the gaps they make when they push costumes around. And none of them default a team color. Everyone who ISN'T one of these characters and DOESN'T default a team color is fine.

Ice Climbers, Jigglypuff, Pikachu, Zelda & Sheik, Wario, and Wolf all probably do have gaps somewhere. The thing is, I only have 1-2 textures per character for them.

The others are either full, or Mr. Game & Watch.

So, how can I fix all of THOSE characters? The team colors deal was helpful, but it doesn't fix everything.

>_< And I'm especially confused because it just sort of started happening. I honestly don't care about the organization anymore, I'd just like someone to help me so I can get all of the textures working again.

Characters that are currently not effected by this problem:

Sheik / Zelda (1 texture each)
Pokemon Trainer and Pokemon (Full)
Ike (Full)
Ganondorf (Full)
Snake (One of his textures needs to be reported in the vault... <_<)
Yoshi (No textures.)
Jigglypuff (No textures.)
Pikachu (2 textures)
Wario (1 texture)

What totally threw me off was when you said sometimes it does it and sometimes it doesn't.

Well, it wasn't happening yesterday or this morning. This is something that happened today, and has been happening. Unless you mean how it sometimes stops some skins and sometimes stops others?

I don't even know what's happening, I just would like someone to know what's wrong. xD

I go by numbers, not by colors. 00 is default,  01 is "1 after 0". So when in the SD card it goes 01, 02, and 03, but in the game it goes 02, 03, and the third one doesn't even show up?

Something's weird there. And I've done this twice, tweaking every mistake I could have made; which is why I have both .pac and .pcs.

Ganondorf works fine too, and he's all filled up. But right now, I'm mostly wondering why the textures are in weird places... and why some alternate between working and not working. >_< They worked fine when it was one per character, now when I step up to 2+ per character all kinds of crazy stuff is happening.

EDIT: Imma try to phrase this better... The way the numbering system works, 00 is default colors. I put skins randomly into the files, and give each one a number starting at 01 and going up, until they're full.

And Bowser isn't the only one acting weird. Virtually everyone aside from Ganondorf, who's full, Ike, who's full, Marth, who's full, Ice Climbers, who have one, Jiggs, who's empty, and Yoshi, who's empty, are messed up in this same way.

King Dedede is messed up in the EXACT same way as Bowser.
