I'm trying to use some character and stage hacks that require codes to work so my obvious question is where do I put the TXT or GCT file that contains the codes? I'm using Beyond You's Riivolution to be precise.

Well I got the in battle stuff working finally.

Well it seems I can't download the info.pac so what should I do

Oh where do I find the info.pac and where do I put it in the SD card?

Really well that's lame. You would think that if you can change the mark on the CSS you could replace it in battle. Oh well, at least I figured out how to change the CSPs.

But what about the actual icon and name not the portrait. The icon/mark and the name aren't replaced in battle and on the results it's the same and stocks are also not replaced.

Haha I got the CSS working with Shadow's image! Thank you so much that was very helpful!
The only thing I am still confused about is how to change the in battle and results screen icons. Do you have any idea how those are replaced?

The only option I disabled on it was the code option.

Hey guys, I have had problems with CSP replacment as well and am hoping to get some help. I am currently using riivolution with only the code option disabled and the game crashes when I try to enter the character select screen.

I recently uploaded my files to mediafire if anyone would be willing to test them and maybe tell me what is wrong. The file includes everything I have currently in the brawlmods folder in the root of my sd card.

Also if it helps to know I am trying to replace DK's CSP with Shadow's in conjunction with ShadowKongV3.
I'm hoping to be able to figure this out as well since CSP replacement has also become a pain for me.

ok well how exactly do you know if the character select portraits are already setup and where do you put the files to make them work. I am now using riivolution with brawlmods just be clear as possible and no confusion

I'm not entirely sure how to do that but I will try it soon, although that still doesn't answer my question on how to use both shadow and sonic. Is it at all possible to make Shadow one of Sonic's alternate costume or do have to replace him entirely?

Just in, I have got the hack to hack work, put the files in the folders for riivolution and it started working, though I'm still not sure how to make it so I can have both Shadow ad Sonic, and how to make Shadow's image appear on character select instead of Sonic's so if you could still send me files with instructions that would be awesome. Thanks for the help.  ;D

If you could email me me the file bingox2 that would be great. I was curious to know though, if you can set it up so that both shadow and sonic can be used at the same time, (like have a battle with both characters). However you would like to send it to me is fine though.

I have just spent over two hours trying to get Shadow on Brawl through the texture hacking. I have put all the files in the correct places on my sd card but when I hit the Brawl button in Group (for multiplayer) it freezes up. I have no clue as to what is going on so I'll list what I am certain of:

I am trying to use the most recent Shadow hack by Masterklo

I have tried getting it to work with Gecko OS and the File Patch Code by Phantom Wings

Spent hours trying to find the smashbros_sound.brsar file that works with it

Currently trying to figure out how to make it work with Riivolution

That is all I can say fr sure at the time. I have only just gotten interested in texture hacking yesterday so I know next to nothing about it. If possible, I'm hoping someone could just send me a folder with everything all set up and let me know where to put it in my sd or take a look at my sd cards folders and tell me what I'm doing wrong. The former option would be greatly appreciated but really any help at all is fine.
