Thanks man, but i figured out my problem. I was using Brawl EX config files instead of Project M EX files. lmao

I will give 500 hundred Goober dollars for anyone who can give a solution. Instead of making a extremely long post that's TL:DR. i will just show you what's wrong.

The tutorial i used was ALM5252's tutorial(wonderful dude. tried his best to help me out), which i have used in the past for me, but now all of a sudden that i got Project M working again.....

Anyways...the last thing in the log console mentions InfFace(random number).brres? Idk what the stock icons have to do with anything but...

I don't speak dolphin so.....

I've been playing multiple Project M builds for months without any problems. Now all a sudden (since january 2017) every build refuses to load in Dolphin anymore.when i try loading Project M, It either says, "No Codes Found" or "Too many codes Found" and loads regular Brawl. I have RSBE01 as main .iso, i even ripped out my old disc thinking the image was the problem, i created multiple Virtual SD cards sizes from 4GB-8GB, I've done changed the builds from ALM5252, Vanilla builds, my own custom-ish builds, The new Msanity one, PMnetplay.elf is what i use to launch and is right on top of RSBE01. i tried even tried "skip EFB Access From CPU is checked" nothing. here's the info that i know. I would appreciate if someone knew what is going on.

Project M screen before failure (updated) i seem to be getting closer...

here's something i really dont understand why it's happening but..whenever i use BCSM to make my custom BRSTM's for any .mp3 file that i chose to convert...once i convert it..and play it to test it..it plays a strange melody that dont even sound close to the desired BGM i converted. it happens on my the new laptop i purchased and makes me wonder what makes this tune play? it makes testing and creating BRSTM's very difficult for me.


aaand now i have a new strange problem. as a additional problem to this..now when i chose a file it forever decodes the left channel

you gotta use the Wiiscrubber...replace the hacks into ur iso that way.

Exactly, they go with their characters, for example :
Link, folder Link --> FitLink.pac FitLink00.pac etc... FitLinkMotionEtc.pac

That's what you need to do with the BeyondRiivolution.xml

if this works u sir..are a saint..sadly i wont know if works until i get off punishment. but i have a feeling this should work. just wanna make sure what i did/doing is correct

Replace the Regular Riivolution folder with Beyonds riivolution

put everything back into Gecko Format.

Put Fitmotions with the fighters.

And .rels in modules..which reminds me..is there even a module folder for regular riivolution? cuz thats where i originally put all my .rels

Common 3 gets put in system which is where i replaced my items and Common 5 also goes in system for CSS and stuff.

Exactly, the only difference is that you have to put the sc_selcharcter and sc_selmap in a common5.pac, or it will not work (if you hacked it).

so when i get my wii back..i will load up riivolution..and when i finally get the disc tray to work..instead of going with the original Brawlmodluncher..wut do i do then? as we speak i have put all my mods BACK into Original Gecko Position (Private/wii/app/rsbe/pf/blah blah blah) that...wait a minute...so Fitmotion files do not go in moveset..they go with fighter?

alright..let meh get this straight if i install "BeyondYous's Riivolution" (Which i just found) i can set up folders like the way i wanted gecko?

After 6 months of research and learning stuff for this...i still suck at hacking brawl.

However i achieved the following:

Installed HBC (Difficulty: :))
Installed Gecko (Difficulty :))

Tried to get Gecko to Hack Brawl (FAILED)

said F***k this Installed Riivolution (difficulty: :))

Completed Learning and Installed textures for Characters (Difficulty: :) :) :))

Completed Learning and Installed Custom BGM (Difficulty: :))

Installed Stages (Not completed Learning)  (Difficulty :( :( :( :()

Hacked All Songs (Difficulty :) :))

what i did not achieve is and still have problems with:

Hacked All stages (65% Completed)

Imported PSA's (2% Completed)

Hacked All Characters (75% Completed,due to not getting PSA's to work)

things i have learned:

CSS editing

Strap Editing

Brstm Editing

Things i have came to as conclusion:

Im retarted when it comes to PSA's.. i put the PSA's in the fighter folder (.PAC's) along with fitmotions for the 1st time Result= When character fights on screen..insta freeze.

2nd method, i put the fitmotion files in moveset folder. Retried,they did not freeze,however they do not work.

Ichigo (Metalknight), Naruto (Game and watch), and Mewtwo (lucario) just stand there with T formats. However my Goku (captain Falcon) is playable,but still broke. any B button activites turns him into T formation untill hit by another player. Final smash is a Giant T formation,with a flash of light..then 3 seconds later, everyone dies LOL....so what the [censored] im doing wrong here? someone please tell me my idiotic mistake that haunts me v_v

another Problem is the current stages:

Pitchochat,New Pork City, Port town Areo Drive, and WarioWare.

ive concludes so far....THESE STAGES ARE UNHACKABLE!!!!!!!!!

1st of all my wii disc tray is retarded..i have to open and exit riivolution channel 10-80 times just to get it to read smash bros. so when i do finally get it to work im like YES!!!...Then i click one of these stages and rage face everything v_v

Pitchchat,Port Town and WareWare, no matter what stage i put these bastards on...INSTA FREEZE!

i have a feeling i know my mistake...or not...idk......(Yes..i add the .rel files for the hacked stage i want)

in my module folder, i have every .rel file for everystage...hacked or not...theres a rel file for it..not sure if  that contributes to anything...but another thing for New Pork CIty..no matter what stage i choose for it...its just a dark mess of New Pork original..all i see is 3 things...the pendulum platform thingy..the breakaway platform..and that Pink little Nightmare..everything else is dark. serious annoying problem.

and finally the dumbest thing i could ever ask anyone here...

i just learned how to hack images and stuff in Common 5.pac, i even made my own epic stage icons and CSS for characters..my dumb question is...WHERE DO I PUT COMMON 5!??? for gecko its private/wii/app/rsbe/pf/system.....BUT I NO USE GECKO!! ive searched everywhere  and connot find any results. i keep getting gecko results when i...use...riivolution. :>.>palm:

someone please tell me where to put common 3 and 5 in riivolution and someone yell some sense into meh about PSA's...cuz i fail everytime...and does anyone has a clue why these stages are unhackable?

4. sumthing...not really sure at the moment.. but i renamed  mob town that and it works. i was playing around with PSA and got closer. My Nauruto and Goku no  longer freezes but.....they still dont work. my goku only works when attacking with A and my Naurto is a Pixelated mess..dosent work at all in battle

this happens to me when i open a song in another program then try to convert to Brstm. i think somewhere down the line your PC has the PSA file open or still leaving a shadow that it has been opened. my recommendation is to save ur work and open Task Manager and exit manually exit Brawlvault and PSA and re-open PSA and try again.

Previously i had troubles with Gecko OS due to the fact i had a 8GB SD Card. I got lucky on it once and never worked again. so a bunch of you guys told me to get riivolution. I Installed it...i had troubles at 1st but two weeks later, Riivolution started working. I now have Custom Characters,Music and some stages

my problems are:

Loading Riivolution
when i load up riivoultion 9/10 it will tell me to insert disc. even tho a disc is in there. after trying 2-1000 times it finally works. i was wondering if this is a riivolution or my wii problem

Character movesets (PSA)
I cant get these to work. i wanted fierce diety link and Naruto in brawl but when i use them..2 seconds later the game freezes. i put them in their fighter spot (X:/brawlmods/custom1/fighter/link) and i can see fierce diety link 100% working untill 2 seconds it just hard freezes. same for nauruto over game and watch

Stages
75% of my stages work. at 1st i couldnt get ANY to work untill i realized the rel files needed to be put in module. but now stages like Distant Planet's Torvus Bog, anything i put for Port town,mushroomy kindom and any konohav stages i find along with Pictochat stages and Tabuu's stage for pirate ship all freezes. And Onett's Mob town and anything for summit dont show up. i really wish mob town worked because i have a lot of Mafia,mob and Fancy character skins.


someone please help  :(

ok thanks everyone now if someone can redirect meh a link to how to set up folders for Riivolution i would pick it up from there.. stupid F***king Gecko..i wish i knew this sooner before i spent 3 weeks trying to install this >.>

so the best thing to do...install rivolution...

i fixed the problem (i think). it was the same reason i had trouble with letterbomb 2 months ago. i had to format the card and put everything back. But now when i play..it takes longer to load and none of the hacks are working. someone told me im having this problem because i have a 8GB SD card instead of a 2GB i hope thats not the problem.
