Wow. I realized that vault data loads after I launch with Gecko (right before the menu comes up). Would I be able to load with the file in the st folder first, then take out my SD card at the character select screen, and proceed to delete the file in an attempt to play with textures?

Help / Smash Stack Method and Freezing

I've been using the Smash Stack method for quite some time 2009-2011. I stopped playing for a while and returned to using it. I deleted everything off my SD and started again and it was working fine. That is until today when it would freeze again.
I would freeze either during the character select screen or the stage select screen. I'm not sure what the problem can be. I do receive vault data when I load my Wii with the SD card in it (which might be the problem). I haven't added anything new and really want to play with my old textures.
