Alright, so I've only worked on one vertex hack so far, (SECWET PWOJECT) using this method of vertex hacking method: http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=13061.0

But my problem, is that certain .brres files won't convert to .dae with Ais. I've tried right clicking, Convert to DAE, I've tried dragging the .brres over Ais, and that doesn't work. Is there another version of Ais that converts all models, or what?

Any help is appreciated.

I've tried everything, but no matter what I do, I can't get the .brres file to convert to a .dae. I just get the log.txt file, that's it. I don't understand how everyone else does it perfectly, it just won't do it for me.

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit if that has anything to do with it.

btw, what did you rip his textures with? I tried so hard, but failed...

My friend got the texture sheet of of www.spriters-resource.com/, and then I used that. It appears it's no longer available on the website, so I guess I just got REALLY lucky.  :af:

But when I use it ingame, his ammo packs and holster are just a matte white.

And are you refering to my MGS1 Snake? Cuz it looks just fine for me in-game.

So, I have a couple questions on vertex hacking. I watched the Kitty Corp tutorial on YouTube for vertex hacking, I followed all the steps, (Exporting a polygon as vertex.ddf, making a 3ds file with Das Donkey Box, exporting the object with Anim8or) but when I import the editthis.3ds file into 3Ds Max, it isn't already selected like in the tutorial, so I can't select the vertices obtion so I can see them and edit them.

And idea what I should do? Cuz I have a "secret project" for Snake. Any and all help is appreciated!  :af:
