I"m having the same problem to...did anyone find a solution to this?

The css codes wont work and all the icons are all over the place xD
Does anyone know whats wrong?

Also it would help if someone can post a GCT of all of the codes except for the file patch code.

I did make the changes to sc_selcharacter.pac but My wii still freezes when I call it sc_selcharacter_en.pac.....when I call it sc_selcharacter.pac it doesnt load.....just shows the normal brawl menu, so I'm ether missing something or I'm doing something wrong =(

Check your char_bust_tex_Lz77 area of your sc_selcharacter.pac; maybe you forgot to add all your CSPs and whatnot in there.

Fixed it...but I dont know what I did to fix it, but thanks anyways

yay it works!!! I just redownloaded the orginal common5.pac and replaced the things inside of it! I also figured out your not suppose to use the file patch code!

I put sc_selcharacter_en.pac inside the common5.pac but it didnt load the changes, but when I called it common5_en.pac it freezes

I'm trying to load a custom CSS but everytime I call it sc_selcharacter.pac it doesnt load any of the chagnes, just loads the normal brawl css. But when I cal it sc_selcharacter_en.pac my wii freezes. I am using riivolution and I put the codes that came with the custom css in I:\codes I also put them in I:\riivolution\codes just in case

I dont know what I'm doing wrong. Here is where all the files are located

I:\riivolution\codes\RSBE01.gct
I:\codes\RSBE01.gct
I:\private\wii\APP\RSBE\pf\menu2\sc_selcharacter.pac
I:\private\wii\APP\RSBE\pf\menu2\sc_selmap.pac

sc_selscharacter.pac has priority over common5.pac, so common5 will never show its affects in-game -- only sc_selcharacter does. So make all your changes to that file instead.

Hey I'm sorta a noob.
When I go to start a brawl battle (going to the css screen) My wii freezes. This happens when I rename sc_selcharacter_darkblue.pac to sc_selcharacter.pac. When I rename it to sc_selcharacter.pac the css screen loads fine but its just the normal boring css screen. I dont know what I'm doing wrong. Please help =)

Since Riivolution doesn't have a File Size Limit it can't be any of the CSP or SSP. Where is your common5.pac located on your SD?
