1  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Stage Hacks wont load on: July 21, 2011, 07:11:10 AM
Well yeah I understand that I can only have one stage OVER FD, but I read a thing that said "FD based .rel file" so I thought I could only have one FD based .rel.

With that aside, any stage I've tried that didn't need a .rel I could use flawlessly so it's definitely something wrong with the .rel that I don't know how to do.

Just for clarity purposes, do I have this set up right?
 It's for the Night FeelGoodInc.

And thanks for trying to help. I do appreciate it.

EDIT: I'm an idiot. I went back and reread the noob guide for like... the 30th time and found out I had the module placed in the wrong spot.....

They were properly named and I'm an NTSC user, but it seems to be that after looking around a bit that they're "Final Destination" based.

Am I only allowed one FD based stage or is it something else? I tried using the levels without any .rel files and the two I tried worked fine. (64 Intro Desk over FD and Strobe Pictochat over Pictochat)

I assume if I keep messing around I'll eventually figure it out like I did characters, but the levels are really frustrating due to that god awful sound it makes.

EDIT: I've discovered it is any .rel I try to use so it's simply something I'm not understanding from all these guides I've been looking at.

I'm actually having this problem too. I was looking for someone who had the same problem because I knew there had to be one. Tongue

Anyway, I think it's because of .rel files though I'm still really new to this so I'm probably wrong.

I installed about 10 stage hacks the other day and all the stages I used a .rel on freeze and make the horribly piercing noise he's describing.

I got any stage I installed on Final Destination to work and that's pretty much it.

However I put a stage over mariobros (The FAMICON level) and the music I set for it worked, but it still showed the mariobros level.

I hope I didn't hijack your thread, just trying to add my bit.
