Oh, that's unfortunate. I'll try with .63 in the morning and give everyone an update.
Also I'm using all codes but the file patch code (using Riivo, it's for my cousin).

Okidoki, so here's the update!

1. Found out he was using an SDHC card. Gave him a 2gb.
2. Redid everything using 0.63d
3. Realized the size of my selcharacter was over the limit. Reduced several portraits to 50 colors, putting me under the limit. Saved, and replaced it in the common5.

I could have sworn that everything was correct; files in the right place, selcharacter beneath the maximum size, 2gb sd card, _en after common5/selchar/selstage, and the gct has all the codes from the CSS page except for the file save code (riivo), plus the few codes that are necessary for Shadow over Dedede.

However, the game froze (with the buzz) before the CSS was visible.

Using the GCT you uploaded gives me the "too many codes" error in cfg v70. I can try with a CFG mod, but could you upload a gameconfig possibly? How does it work for you? I'm running brawl off a hard drive (bad laser), so CFG is pretty much my best bet. Also, I downloaded 1.E1 and 1.F to patch it; do I need 1.D to start or does 1.E1 include it?

I'm trying to use a CSS with Shadow over Dedede. I opened the selcharacter from the CSS and put in the Shadow files, including his icon and name tag, and then I saved this file and put it in the common5 file. I thought I did everything correctly, including the codes, but this is my result:



Does anyone have any experience with this problem?

Hi guys. I'm new here, and I'm completely inexperienced. My little cousin wants the Original Flaming Blue CSS by ASF1nk, with Shadow. He's looking for a full working shadow with his own moveset; not just a Sonic recolor (he wants to be able to use Sonic as well). After looking around, I found Shadow over Dedede, which would be perfect. However, I am lost and have no idea how to set all of this up now that I have the files. Can anyone lead me in the right direction?
