I noticed that a song in battlefield stage never plays, and when i go to my music and try and change it the game freezes. This keeps happening even if i turn off all hacks and cheat codes. First time i noticed this i thought the savefile was corrupted so i deleted it and made a new one, and that fixed it but after a couple matches it happened again. Also the final smashes of luigi, peach and donkey kong don't play their music anymore.
Since the stage expansion packs use codes to give songs to custom stages i think that may be the cause but i'm not sure.
I really don't mind as it doesn't affect the game that much, but i was wondering if there's a way to fix this or if it's something common?
I took knuckle joe from nebulon's pack to add it to my own, but there seems to be a problem when loading the textures. Knucke joe has 6 costume slots, in nebulon's pack they load properly, but in my pack they don't, for example instead of loading costume 01 it shows 05, instead of 02 it loads 01, etc.
I had a similar problem once with another clone i made, in that case i kept changing the pac and pcs files' names until they loaded in the right order but it would always load differently so i changed the order of the CSP's instead and that fixed it, but in this case that doesn't work, since one costume doesn't appear and instead a costume appears twice.
I already checked the fighter40.dat file and i have costumes 0 to 5 enabled and the files are named correctly.
ooh, so is there any way to edit the css that is compatible with brawlex? i also saw something about going to misc data 30 in the sel_character file and changing the size and position of each icon, but that only worked for mario's icon.
I read something about using the css organizer, but the sel_character had to be Lz77 compression or it wouldn't work, so i did that, but when opening the pac file the css organizer gives me this error: index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index. I just want to make the icons in the css smaller so that the corners don't flicker.
the clones i have sometimes have issues with graphics not appearing properly or not at all when entering a match with the character that they were cloned from, how can i fix this?
to make a new character you need to port a model to an existing character (i don't know how to do this) or you can get a model that's already ported (any model in the vault), then you need that character's fit and motionetc pac files, you will also need 2 programs: brawlbox and project smash attacks. Check this guy's videos, he explains ho to do animations and hittboxes, graphic effects etc.
I have 3 clones, 2 of them work, but one which is a snake clone with deadpool psa works fine until the end of matches, then it freezes. I checked that there were no missing files, they're named properly, the rel file has the right ID, but it still freezes at the end of a match.
I found this: 0BD Death. It seems it is an action ID, not a subaction, but when i open PSA it only shows the special attacks (from action 112 to 134), so how do i edit the death sound??
I'm editing a snake.psa to make it a deadpool clone so that deadpool's sfx go over the ones from a SSE boss and not over snakes' but i've found 2 problems:
1- A couple sounds loop forever, if i put the stop sound command they will stop only if the animation ends completely, if i get hit before the animation ends the sound will still loop. I couln't find a fix so i removed them for the moment.
2- I can't find the subaction to edit the KO sounds and when you are sent flying off the screen, anyone know how to edit those?
then i'll try that, i checked some information about it, it looks like its a long process Post Merge: July 27, 2014, 09:18:07 PMok so the knuckles clone was just for testing, i actually want a snake clone with deadpool psa and sfx, so i got it, opened smashbros_sound.brsar in super sawndz and inserted the deadpool.sawnd file, then exported all its wav files with brawlbox, and then inserted those wav files again to the smashbros_sound.brsar file, this time in the enemy Arman from SSE i think, then i clicked the option create sawnd, so now i got my sawnd file, havent tested it but i think i still need to edit the deadpool.psa with the program PSA so that it goes to the right sounds? i'm not sure, and i don't know how to put the right IDs there
