Honestly, I think Amaterasu should just not be done.  I love Okami and would love to have Amaterasu in the game in some form, but the fact is that there is only one quadraped in Brawl, and that single character would not allow a quality Amaterasu.  Ivysaur is too stubby, and either the Amaterasu model will be weird or it'll be weird to play against due to moves involving the bulb.  As neat as it would be to see a character appear as Amaterasu, I just don't think it's possible to make a quality one right now.

BeyondYou, there is a Roy model import from the game sword of seals. Maybe you can use that to help you by getting ideas in making him look like that and melee's Roy.

I'm guessing he means a sprite sheet.  That's all there could be for that game, I'm pretty sure.

Don't worry, like jokekid says, I'm a huge Final Fantasy fan. The only games in the series I haven't really played are 1, 2, 5, 11, and 14. While you guys are on the subject of "LU", I'll let you know that Lulu is definitely on my to do list.

Anyways, the Advent Children Cloud looks pretty much perfect and the Yoda's coming along great. Keep up the good work B-Drill!

The only character worth taking from FF5 is Gilgamesh anyways.  I don't think making a good Gilgamesh is really feasible, though, since no characters in Brawl have six arms.

Also (at either of you), since FF12 is one of the two games BeyondYou has played, Gabranth in his Judge's armor would be neat,although no Brawl characters dual-wield swords, and I imagine his helmet would be quite tricky to do accurately.

I have to disagree with you. While it's not a official art, it is certainly a good reference for his purposes.

Besides. I think Beyond you could tell that Isaac's sword and sheath are straight by looking at the Assist Trophy model.

It can't be a good reference when it bears only minimal resemblance to the actual thing.  Also, he could tell about the sheath, but you never see the blade with the assist trophy.  The assist trophy is kind of odd looking overall either way, though.

You can clearly see a slope on the sprite, plus a straight-edged sword would mostly suck ass.

It's probably just his sheath that's boxed.

I didn't mean the blade is rectangular, but that the majority of the length of the blade is straight whereas that fan art has the blade spreading out then coming back to a point in a sort of diamond shape.

That fan art isn't really accurate.  There's only one piece of official art (that I can kind) that depicts him with his sword out (here).  Maybe it's just me, but the blade seems straight (as in the two edges run parallel).  If they aren't completely straight, they're certainly not as drastic as in that piece of fan art.  His sheath is always depicted as flat and rectangular, but not very wide, so this would support that idea.  Additionally, the hilt looks different than the fan art as well (link).  I'm usually not this big of a stickler, but going off of fan art that doesn't really portray many characteristics the same as in official works is not a good source to base your replication on, and I figure it'd be one less inaccuracy to have to worry about lest you feel the need to revamp it.

You removed it because your separate attempt at the same concept wasn't to the other guy's liking o.O?  Not sure I understand completely.  Also, if anyone can get access just by PM'ing you, what's the point of having it password protected in the first place?

Are you guys freaking serious? Zero over Link? What do you guys think I tried to do last time? I actually got mine to work, except that I lost my work. Thank god none of you got progress on it, because it would have pissed me off a lot. You know how I've been working on this project for a long time. Zero's on my list once I get this method to work perfectly.

Just because you want to do it doesn't mean that others can't try as well.

That should be the fixed tag.  You never finished the opening url tag (you left off the ]), and you had a closing image tag ([/img]) after the url (which wasn't closed, so it was counting it as part of the url).

I really only want to give him his standard powers.  Not anything from power-ups.   At least not for now.  There's already a lot of things he can do from his normal mode that weren't in Brawl.

Even considering this comment, I can't help but think it would be better to change the side-smash to maybe ice damage instead of electrical, particularly since he never has any electrical powers...

The Ice Flower was introduced in Galaxy, so it'd at least be more appropriate.

I think one of the people now working on the imported Zero model got that particular model looking correctly by adjusting some texture transparencies, but I don't remember which ones.  It'd be like...10 to 15 pages back in the thread now maybe.
