Just wanted to relay this here: Project M's Roy is lookin' mighty fine. Also more info on the clone engine as well.


I should wait a bit until it's released to adjust my awakening roy model to their new hair model, since I made a new bandana for him.

Just wondering if a Zihark skin is planned or if there is one arround.
He is my fav FE character and i'd really like to play him.

You would have to get it rigged if you want to use it in brawl. You could make a request thread for it if you don't know how to rig models.

Not trying to be rude,but can someone make a Priam model or at least can you tell me how you
guy make model like this?

Why would you want a Priam skin when you can play as Ike?

But on a more relevant note, Vert, have you heard ANY word from ANY riggers? What gives? This is getting ridiculous. I swear by next weekend I'm going to learn how to rig models and do this personally, provided your OK with that.

Any idea if progress will be made on Awakening Roy soon? I'd love to use that outfit when P:M 3.0 is released in the future.


I didn't know about that! I love the new look of his hair. Also no progress on awakening Roy yet.

Rigging one version with new textures, and one with the originals? I thought you said this wasn't gonna happen, haha. Also, why do you need to rig two separate versions for the sake of textures? Why not rig just the one version, copy those .pcs and .pac files, and simply "replace" the old textures with the new ones?
That wouldn't work because SJS edits the UV mapping in the models he retextures.

Man, looking through all these awesome recent updates... I can't help but ask, do you have an estimate as to when some of these hacks will be released?

I know this stuff takes time, but it looks so good I can hardly wait!
Well, the Vanguard and Hero Ike models are finished, I just need someone that rigs them. Albafika and SJS will rig a version with different textures, but I also want the original versions to be rigged. I asked KTH if he wanted to do it but I didn't get an answer, so maybe the best option would be opening another request thread.

Anybody game for a Heroes of Light and Shadow Marth model? As usual, I can do textures, but not much else (at the moment).
Well, it's easy to do but I want to finish the other projects right now.

I know it's just an early WIP, but a point I wanna make: His tunic should be real, real dark. Like, to the point where you can only notice it's green if you're kind of paying attention. The color you have it at now, I guarantee you it's gonna look too bright.



I know it's darker in-game, but that will be solved with a recolor. Kinda like how Marth in brawl has a light blue recolor based on his mystery of the emblem clothes.

Current Progress on Krom:





Rigged over Ike and with a new model I made for his sword Falchion, redid UVs for his hair also and a new head model. Still has a few rigging problems(his shoulder) and will also add spec maps.


Looks good so far, though I feel the proportions could use a it more work. Also, his sheath looks huge. I'll add your Chrom previews to the first post to keep this updated.

Y'know the glove/sheild thingy on Ike's left arm (non-sword arm)? In the RD model, it's smaller... in the RD portrait, it's pretty big.

If you guys aren't planning to do it, I intend on vertexing this model with the appropriate changes in size (stressing major credit to you cats, of course).


I wanted to keep it's radiant dawn in-game proportions, but I had to shorten his armor a bit because his arms had to match those of the brawl model (you might notice I also had to shorten his bandana). I also think his armor looked too big in his portrait, but since I'm adapting the in-game design I though it looked better like it is right now. Here are a couple of pics for comparison purposes, I think it looks really good the way it is right now:

Also, if you want to modify the model just a bit I don't mind as long as you keep it private. I don't want to end up having a lot of different releases in the vault, that would only confuse the people who wants to download the hack.

Also, we should probably try to finish Roy at some point.


I'm really looking forward to Roy more than any other character at this point. If someone can provide maybe a tutorial or something, I would be willing to help out if necessary.


I'll try to finish Roy next. I actually started my version of lord class ike last week, but it can wait.
I want to redo Roy's whole upper body, the base I got was not good enough. I'll probably use RD's Stefan for it.

Aaaaand here's an update on the vanguard model, thanks to Shun_One! Please keep in mind that the cape texture is stll a WIP:







I also solved a major bug the original model had:  In the original model model there was a weird zone in his chest armor, near his right shoulder and below his cape, that had different texture mapping than the rest of his armor. I managed to fix it, which was the most notable flaw of the model.. This was even visible in some of the previous renders I posted, check it out:

I was about to say I'd also love to texture that beast. But I'd probably mess with the UVs. A lot. D:
I'd prefer Shun to texture it because he's also done the hero model. But If you want to texture both, I'd love to see your versions as well. So go ahead if you want and let me know, I really like your work!
Having 2 different textures would be really cool for a release.

Vanguard Ike's done! The model is 90% done, but he needs a lot of texture work. This was very quick because I could reuse some parts from the hero model, and the expressions and weapons are the same. Here's how the model looks right now:

I finished everything! Once I get the new Ettard texture Shun's editing, I'll send the model to Albafika so he can rig him.
I hopefully fixed the eyes in all expressions:
