I have seen several Stage hacking expansions, and eventually lost track of them as they were coming out, lol.

I was wondering if there is yet a State Expansion code that will actually allow the icons to be changed individually?

For example, normally they are all duplicate icons of FD and I think Battlefield: Could those be set to the empty slots in Stage Select .pac, if one was to condense the SSS so it's file size doesn't get to large, could the empty slots be assigned to be read by the code?

Just a thought, and don't know hot to contact PhantomWings to give him the idea lol.

Lol, once I learn more about PSAs, I just might edit my own version of it for the game, with that throw... trust me: looking at it, you would say it's worth it. That game is what made me like Gotenks years before he was even known in the US.

For MK and DDD, I'm not talking about the hacking community, I'm talking about people in general: and to say MK is OP, he's weak compared to Shadow LMAO.

I was CONSIDERING doing a revamp on the Tails over Jiggs, once I get a little PSA practice.
I'm actually going to post on the forums, but since it's on topic, and I'll be adding my char on this project here, I'll ask here as well:

How in the world do you edit the flags for Toon Link's arrows?
I've been trying to find it, but can't... trying to add a reflect effect to his arrow, and a stun to his bomb.

Since we're kinda off-topic already: wanted to make a suggestion for one of gotenk's throws:
You should put his forward throw as his throw was in DBZ: Hyper Dimension for the SNES.

If you haven't played it, you have to download it: was the best DBZ game out until Budokai.
I'm assuming you know how to use roms and emulators, right? It was a Japanese-only rom, but you can still play it.

The Gotenks, even though I have 2 DBZ chars in here already, I may consider if many vote in its favor.

But I already have 3-4 sonic chars atm, and PLENTY of Mario chars lol.

Also, MK is possibly more widely liked than tails for those who know him, and I KNOW more people would like DDD as a char than Waluigi... who wants to hear that annoying laugh all day.

Not to mention how ugly he is... I'm glad someone make a [censored] Dastardly over his summon lol.

Topic/First post updated!

After that, a quick report on what I'm still looking for replacements for:

For Sure:
Lucas
Ice Climbers
Samus (Creating standalone character, separate of ZSS)
Jiggs (Looking for Aeris Model or texture for Rosy over Jiggs, have permission for porting the Aeris Model, but don't know how)
Peach (using Hinata, maybe change for something better)


Possible replacements (Only if I find something much better):
Wario
DDD
Metaknight (Hopeful for revamp)
Bowser (want to keep Bowser, need revamp)

I'm posting this so people can know what to work on if they want their hack to be added to the project.


*---I am also looking for a Modified FS for ZSS, so whoever I put over her does not transform into Samus.
I plan on just editing the FS, removing the Transform and armor drops if possible, but looking for something better. Open to ideas and donations. Wink

I am currently forced to use a Gecko-type USB loader, for 2 reasons:
1) I left my Disc out of state (Wii was given to me, but he misplaced his Brawl disc); and
2) The blasted thing loads alot faster via USB than it does from a Disc anyhow, so if possible, I'd like to keep the USB loader even when I get the disc.

That being said, I was hoping that someone knew of either a USB hack of Riivolution, or a way to load character SFX via Gecko. I know some time back it wasn't possible, but I was hoping that over recent months it has changed, at least a little.

Basically, I'm getting tired of hearing "Falco-Kick!" when I throw a spirit bomb!

I haven't changed my layout of my CSS for a long time now, and my CSS currently has Pokemon Trainer off, Independent Pokemon on, 1 Icon for Zelda, 1 for Sheik, and all others as normal.

Last night, I tried to redo it, taking off the Independent Pokemon, Enable PT, and enable ZSS.

Thing is, each time I try to save it it saves correctly, but when I try to load it, even after powering off my Wii, it goes back to how I USED to have it, with the Pokemon on. I even disabled the Independent Poke code, and they still show up!

The file I'm editing is in PF/Menu2/
Any idea why I can't get this to change???

Thanks alot for the help: you're on of the first people on here who actually seem to CARE about giving out an understanding of things.

I see alot of people who want to be a mod because they keep making hacks, but while they deserve recognition for the contributions, seems like you have an attitude more fitting to be one. Smiley

A good idea for an extension of your Eggman hack would be to remodel the motorcycle to be the first boss machine from Sonic 2. Smiley

Thanks for the response, but it brings 2 more questions.

If only those chars can be rel ported, how does shadowkong work? And what's a normal port exactly? I wanted to put Goku in my lineup, but I already worked on adding some characters that I don't plan on replacing. I currently have Master Chief over CF, and spent alot of time on the CSSs and such, so am looking for an alternative to still have Goku on somehow, any ideas?

Please excuse if they are in plain site, but I did look and didn't find anything about these questions, or at least not obviously states.

1) I'm using the Ichigo over Marth hack, and it works well, except he shoots a white cutter (like Kirby's sword), rather than a black wave for his N-B. I was looking in how to change this, and saw there was an image that looked like it was supposed to be used in the textures, but isn't being shown: how can I port that to be used rather than an in-game image?

2)Could someone point me in the direction of an article to show me how to re-model/vertex a character a simple way? In short, I'm trying to use textures from a Zelda or Peach texture on the Rosy over Jigglypuff model, so I'm looking for an efficient way).

3)Anyone aware of any .Rels to put A Captain Falcon hack over another character, preferably Lucas or Olimar, or tell me where it shows how to convert it? I saw the Clone Character topic, but didn't actually describe how to edit the .rels.
