Why doesn't vondy go PM smashhackers then he can post his solution here instead of waiting for someone to actually post it which will take even longer <_<
To be honest I think that the noob guide looks like a shorter knock-off version of the complete noobs guide and looks as if we copied the other guides basis. I feel as if an advanced noobs guide would be better istead of a basic one. I think we need some newer ideas instead of one being repeated.
if you delete them, you can't use the stage, the rel files are needed to port a level over another,
so for exemple, if someone made a stage that's supposed to be over final destination, and you want it over port town, you need the rel file to make it work over port town
And this is why I said if he's PAL or NTSC-J... you even said it yourself <.<
okay, last question, do I leave the name of the file itself as is? I also want to change the SSS BG and the CCS BG as well as the menu backgrounds @_@ BTW I just mean the backgrounds lol
I remember how to change BG colors on the default but I forgot BG switching. I'll look into it.
I got no idea bout riivo but SOMEONE has got to make this. I'll do it tommorow regardless if you want riivo or not (i'll be excluding some things because I still can't figure them out >_<). This will be GECKO ONLY as I have no experience with riivo. But you guys can go ahead and make one but it doesn't sound like it's possible from what i'm hearing from you two :/
It's because sonic's animation needs sonics original character structure files. I think there may be a gecko code but I can guarantee it will look weird. Otherwise you'll need to know how to make a new hack and make new animations for jiggly with sonics moves which I have no idea how to do.
Could you make a tutorial on how to recolor the graphics that are like for example, the jump graphics, and the "sparks" graphic? Not lightning, I literally mean the one called "sparks" in the psa resource thread. Though I'm recoloring the lightning one too.
I need this for my kakashi psa
I have no idea how to do this and infernape knows mostly basic stuff so I doubt we'll be any help :/
I said I found a stupidly easy way to do it for noobs who already have like photoshop or something similar. That's all >_>
That's for only one tool though, i'd say we need a method for all tools. Don't want a horde of noobs saying "I don't see that option" 'cause I have something called colorize instead of that.
I know a stupidly easy way to do recolors if you have photoshop (or other similar programs) and here it is.
1: go to the brush tool, right click it and pick "color replacement brush" 2: Go to the settings tab and set the "tollerence" setting to 1-20 % 3: pick the color you want NOTE: make sure you pick a color that's a few tones darker than you want. Color replacement tool always makes the color you picked a few shades brighter!
