Well, now that they released Project Melee 2.6b, they're using a different codeset so the actual stage expansion works only for project M 2.6 right?
I would like to know this as well.  Kirby Dance

I hate to be "that guy", but I remember that you said something about releasing Mute City towards the end of August. Is this still true, or is it going to be delayed again?

About Mute City, it's on a hold for a while again. Right now my situation isn't specially calm, and I need to be calm for the tweaks it needs to be finished. This will change in 20 days, I should have a whole month to work patiently on it from that day on.

I don't like to make promises, but I'd say the stage is to be finished before the end of August.

Yay, now I don't have to check this thread three times a day to see if Mute City has been released yet or not.  Kirby Dance

Anyway, I'm maybe a bit too excited for Mute City, but once you get your chance to work on it next month, you should definitely take your time with it. The wait will be too much for all of us, but it will definitely be worth it in the end. After all, good things come to those who wait.  Awesome Face

Yeah, I've been patiently waiting for this Mute City stage for a long time (I even got all of the music ready for the stage once it gets released), but you don't see me going "HURRY UP ALREADY MEWTWO2K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

He must have his reasons for why he hasn't released it yet, so let's not give him a hard time and have him rush it out or anything. Good things come to those who wait.  Kirby Dance

I hate to be "that guy", but it's been quite a while without much posting going on. I'm just curious on how Mute City is going.  Awesome Face

This is amazing! I've been waiting for a code like this for so long, and you good sir have delivered!

I have just one question, though; will this work with Project M?

I know that you can't really take requests right now, but do you think you could do a Konata CSP for Peach sometime? Thanks!

This is awesome! I'll definitely install this for Demo 2.5b. More stages are always welcome.

BTW, made some progress to the Grunty's Tower stage today. It's been more than one and a half year since I made the first video, and this is the second one:

[SSBB hack] - Grunty's Tower Top (preview 2)

Oh man, that stage looks really sick. I'll definitely download that once you finish it. We need more Banjo-Kazooie stages!

Is Mute City still being worked on?
29  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Stages / Re: Mewtwo2000's Stage Thread [New Mute City progress in 10 days (21/9/2012)] on: September 22, 2012, 10:54:24 AM
Not really, my last update was a few days ago. I managed to animate the first 2-3 cars as a test, and made pictures. Nothing more since then. Now my girlfriend hates brawl (I've spent too much time on it these years) and she's at home, I don't feel like trying to concentrate in something like Mute City with her around. So, instead of hacking, I've been using the awesome devolution tool to play my cube games with no memcards and no discs. I've been playing majora's mask and melee, mainly. My wish of making stages from those 2 games has been increased due to playing them xD

I've also played some Mario Kart, and have downloaded some interesting patch with custom content. If I get time in the future, I may end up making some stuff for that game too, not only Brawl.

My girl will start her classes in 10 days or so. And, as I'm not having classes for the moment, I'll focus on Mute City then. I'll work exclusively on it. And I won't hack anything else (except for helping others) until Mute City is complete enough in both cars and no cars versions.

I'll take a new video once I've made some more progress, to show at least a few cars hitting me while playing and such.

So, be patient please  Undecided

Awesome! Can't wait for the Mute City stage whenever you get the time to finish it, then. Cheesy

Also, I've never hacked Mario Kart Wii before, but every once in a while I like to watch custom tracks for it. Pretty intresting stuff, and it would be intresting to see what you do with Mario Kart, too.

So, has there been any updates on Mute City lately? It's one of my favorite stages from Melee, and I'm hyped to see how this incarnation will play out!
