I have a similar problem with Ike. I asked if anyone could help me so Ike could be use again, but alas, no one actually helped with the problem.
I guess these kinds of questions are things no one really knows how to fix, sadly enough. If I had to blame something, it would probably be the Clone Engine, seeing as I got some Ike rels a long time ago and now Ike is the only character that doesn't work for me, even though I removed them.
I can't really help with this problem either... I would if I knew the problem. Sorry.
Hey guys. I got a question on Jaklub's NES HUD. Like shown, all of the characters symbols is the standard Smash Bros. symbol, and the percentages are all colorful and blocky as shown. However, the character icon and their respective names still appear as if the code isn't activated. It's a little annoying, as it's not what was intended with the HUD, and some characters like Captain Falcon and Donkey Kong have their names as Goku and Shadow, respectively. I have the code Jaklub provided to get rid of all that junk, but alas, it's still there. Here's the code that was provided:
I don't know why this could be happening, as I know the code is made for NTSC-based copies of the game like mine is. The only thing I could think of is the code working only on Gecko OS instead of Riivolution, seeing as I'm a Riivolution user that's using Beyond's .xml file.
Whatever the problem is, please tell me what it is whenever you can. Thanks in advance!
I got the big cross version of the stage, and I was amazed how much detail there was. It's a perfect recreation!
This is definately staying on my SD card. Your hard work paid off, Mewtwo!
Oh, and I have a question. I used a Jungle Japes rel and made this on one of the custom stage slots using the Stage Expansion Code. It works flawlessly, but I was wondering if the Alternate Stage Loader code worked if I had it on the custom stage slot instead of Jungle Japes. Does it work or do I have to modify the code a bit?
I've seen topics here in this help section similar to this issue, but unlike most people, it doesn't freeze when you boot up the CSS, it freezes randomly while in it. I haven't had this problem until I got the "Shadow over R.O.B." hack, and now I can't even freely look around the CSS without getting to the SSS at all. The hack did say that it could freeze silently at times, but it definitely wasn't silent as I heard the "BEEP". And plus, I thought he was just referring to playing a match with R.O.B., but I guess this isn't the case.
Does anyone know what to do about this problem? Reply when you can. Thanks in advance.
For those who were wondering why Mario was surprised to see the dog transform into the Prince and confess his love for Peach, it's because the dog was a traveling companion to Mario and Luigi throughout the course of the movie. Because the dog couldn't talk (duh), Mario wouldn't have known he was human before he turned into a dog, let alone that he was a dog. So the dog was probably taking advantage of Mario just so he could get to Peach easier. So when Mario found out what his intentions were in the end, he certainly was [censored]. This ending is just a big flip of the finger and makes an otherwise happy ending seem awkward. I know of this because I watched a subbed version of the whole film a while back ago.
But still, you got to feel bad for both Mario and Peach (apparently Luigi could care less, though)...
But now I'm just getting off-topic. Anyways, I've been lurking in this thread on your faithful recreation of Peach's Castle, and I have to say... it looks epic. Too epic! I'll definitively put one of the versions of it on my SD card once it comes out.
Sorry for not responding earlier, but I did delete Roy's result screen portraits, and... It still freezes! Ugh.
Maybe it has something to do with the Result Screen itself (it's the Peach's Castle one from Mewtwo2000), but I wouldn't think that would be whats causing the freezing since it only affects Ike. Plus I wouldn't know where to look in the STGRESULT.pac .
This exact thing happens on mine too...I have a custom stage result screen but that's it. But it only seems to be Ike that freezes and only if the game is left on the results screen for a certain amount of time.
Hmm... that's strange. Mine doesn't freeze after a few minutes, it freezes for me right after a match. It doesn't even show a black screen or anything, it freezes after the announcer says "Game Set!", and the pauses. Sometimes it makes that beep, sometimes it doesn't.
Hmm... I think that's the only thing I haven't tried. I'll see if that works or not.
Oh, and just for reference, did you delete the Naruto portraits and then get the Olimar portraits from the data partition? Or did you just simply delete the Naruto portraits only?
