16  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Project Concepts / Re: Project Super Smash Bros. R [Ganondorf/Zelda previews (3/24)] on: March 24, 2015, 11:37:48 AM
Thanks for the feedback, onii-chan. I wasn't quite finished with the Hud, and I don't I'm done with it yet.. but here's what it looks like so far, along with other updates I've done. Specifically, Zelda and Ganon's Revamped moveset.

I've also edited some text in the training pause menu, too.
17  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: ASL (Alt Stage Loader) incompatible with 1P Mode? on: March 22, 2015, 12:41:04 PM
Do you have different forms of the stages that do work?

What I'm thinking is that those stages don't HAVE alternate forms, and since the code is trying to access them, it freezes. Or it could just be a code compatability issue. (Some work on this, but not on this)

I'm thinking that it is a code compatibility issue, which stinks. All stages that have alt forms work. You can actually set up which stages are affected by the code. Target test and all star shouldn't have been affected by the code. Then, I assumed I NEEDED to affect the stage with the code, so I made it affect it, and still, it crashes.. so I'm not too sure why other than, it won't work with it.

N00B Q. here. Exactly what does the ASL code do?
ASL means Alternative Stage Loader. It's able to load 26 more variations of the same stage via button combination or by random.

Target Test stages (Lvl 1-5) crash the game, and the All-star heal stage crashes on start-up.

The thing is, when an SD card is not presently in the wii, (a la, resorting back to normal stages, characters, etc, without resetting.) those stages work. It's pretty weird.

I was just wondering if anyone else has gotten target test/all-star heal stage to work in 1p mode while using the ASL code.

All Stages work for Multiplayer, but 1p stages like Targets and the "Heal" stage in All-star mode, does not. Why is this?

EDIT: If I pull out my SD Card right before beginning the mode (After character select, press start), it works normally.. and even when I put it back while the mode has after begun, it still works. It's just that initial startup...

Thanks guys. Fixed.

Just in time for another update as well. More (forms of) Stages!

Brawlbox still gives an error when trying to save animations after editing. It'll give an error once, then you can save like normal. However, if you check back to (reopen) the animations, it's unchanged from how it was before.

I don't know if this is because of this code, but stage loading, saving photos, or backing out of the SSS is very slow. What I mean is, in regular brawl, it only takes about 5 secs to load the stage after selecting it. Now, it's taking about 10-12 secs. Saving a photo takes at least 30 secs. Why is this? Is it this code? Has anyone noticed any time differences?

[...]but for hiding or showing all objects for only one model you can just click the "All" checkbox under the objects list for that model.

That's why I asked. I just wanted a way to preview all, but able to turn all polygons/bones/vertices off, and then turn certain ones back on, instead of manually turning the majority off first.

I would use previous versions, but those seem mess with Anim files, causing animations that loop to not loop or ones that shouldn't loop, to loop. That's why I asked.

Sorry for confusion. I'll try to explain.

For example: I open up the pac file for the main menu. Then I click "preview all models," and ALL the models are opened. In the latest 0.75b version, clicking on polygons removes all polygons, so nothing is there. In older versions like .71 or .73, clicking on polygons only hides the selected model. Is there a way to do this in .75b? Thanks.

I know that in previous brawlboxes, when you preview all models, you could hide all of them, and then show some back. This one doesn't do that (or is there a different way). I hide all, but can't bring back some; it brings back all.

If I may suggest, scrap that Project M font for the menu. It doesn't fit very well with the theme that the menus have.
I figured someone would tell me this haha. Fret not, that will be taken care of!

I really like Kirby's csps and bps. Where did you get them?

So update time. I really spent some time on these and finally improved all menus, and select screens. I also fixed up a new Character portrait screen within gameplay. Enjoy!

Other things I've done:
*improved Link's arrows. They now go in order from Normal, Fire, Ice, then Light
*Added Triforce Ganon but tweaked him a bit.
*Improved Wario's FSmash and Ground-pound

bug: copy and paste have flipped y and z axises.
Example: I copy a transition of 3,4,12 and when I paste, it's 3,12,4 instead.
