Umm... did you open the .brres/.pac/.pcs file (or whatever it is), Export the texture you want to modify, and then open it up in Gimp/Photoshop/Paint.NET/Paint?
Shouldn't bump too fast >.> Also, try formatting your SD Card... then try it. Of course, move all the files out... Also, I don't feel like downloading since my DL speed is @$*!... Try using a normal sc_selmap if it froze at the Brawl Button
umm... i dont think he doesnt have... i think it may just be ur... 1) STGRESULT.PAC may be corrupted 2) smashbrossound.bsrar may be corrupted 3) Victory music is corrupted 4) SD Card
wut? i cant tell if the psas messed up, if ur trying to use a hack for sonic over dk without porting, the textures messed up :\ Can you tell me exactly whats wrong. The Hyper and Super Sonic are just slight recolors I guess.
Instead of using GeckoOS, download Riivolution and put it in the apps folder on the root of the SD Card. Then, go and get a fresh copy of smashbros_sound.bsrar here: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?unuztmtmgyy (You have to up 7z this file, because of it's size.) Then get HxD Hex Editor, install it, and follow instructions that should (keyword: should) come with the download. Assuming ur using Gecko OS, get this: http://www.mediafire.com/?8vj8809jx1nc8po and put it in the Riivolution folder on the root of your SD Card. Then, find of a copy of your Code file (gct) that doesnt have the File Patch Code, as it will f&#@ Riivolution up. Also, if your using custom css and sss, (Character Selection Screen and Stage Selection Screen, then download a common5_en.pac, rename it to common5.pac. Then open common5 in BrawlBox and import sc_selcharacter and sc_selmap to common5, then save the file to the system folder. Delete/rename sc_selcharacter and sc_selmap to something else. I fyou have no idea what to do, give me a DL to your SFX , and then Ill set you up with Riivolution. Also, if stages that have a .rel file on it are in your textures, they might not work (apparently for others it works but for me it doesnt). So, yeah. I also need a DL to your codes (RSBE01.gct in the codes folder, root of SD Card) and menu2 and system folder.
Okay, so as some people saw in earlier posts, I was having trouble with the modlauncher.xml that allows Brawl+ 7.0, Brawl- 1.5, P:M Alpha, Unstoppa Brawl v1 (I'm guessing), BBrawl v3, and three custom sets. SO, I've modified each codeset so file patch code no longer exists. But, when I load it... the Wiimote strap screen (not modded) doesn't even show up. The screen just goes black and stays like that until I force shut it off. I also couldn't get .rels to work either, which I wanted to do a stage expansion for P:M, and new stages... Can someone give me a link to a patched modlauncher.xml that works, and codesets + files for Brawl+ Brawl- P:M Alpha (if demos the only one available that's OK), Unstoppa Brawl, and BBrawl patched so they fit the new one? I really want to use these, since I don't want to have to download a bunch of stuff and have to rename then everything i want new textures... Help T.T I've also tried reformatting, re-downloading, nothing worked. I've been stuck with SSBBTemplate the entire time, and I don't like it...
could you/someone use fraps or somethign to record this? i want to learn, but i have school and stuff
yeah... i probably will wont be out of school and get back by 3:30-4:00 (6:30-7:00 PST) on Wednesdays and Fridays, 3:45-5:00 (6:45-8:00 PST), and 2:30-3:00 on Mondays... so, something like FRAPS w/audio would be really great, or a copy of the chat. Weekends, I'll most like be with my friends, so... maybe weekends xD
