Think you could make alternate versions too? For example, Ice Cap, there's the Megadriver remix and the Project Chaos remix. I don't want to be stuck listening to Clu Clu Land on Ice Cap Zone!

Im going to stop making Sonic Stages for a while and make the music for each sonic stage I've already made for now.
I already have 2 Sky Sanctuary Songs, Mushroom Hill, and Ice Cap. But I suppose more variations couldn't hurt!
34  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Converting Music Rips on: August 08, 2009, 01:18:08 PM
I tried ripping ACCF, and it only had 1 music in the whole thing...  At least that music was a brstm, lol...

I also tried ripping Sonic Mega Collection. No music format I know of, and most of the stuff in it is roms.

Maybe I'll try TP next, that should have something usable on it, right?

Big Blue moves too much for Oil Ocean don't you think?
Well, I was thinking it could be an F-Zero track in the middle of Oil Ocean Zone... It looks the most like it, imo.

I was looking into making an Oil Ocean out of Big Blue, but I really suck with texture stuff. I could probably change the water and the sky, but iunno about the rest. I couldn't even find the actual track....

All I can say is to google "free youtube to mp3 converter" and youtube search any Punchout songs that you want. They should be eazy to loop because (I'm assuming) they will be looped in the preview as well.
I already have the whole soundtrack in mp3 format. I just wanted to be able to easily rip a wii game and convert the whole soundtrack to brstm format, and Punch-Out was my test.

Damn, I can't even play this with winamp.
Told you...  not impressed

Now, some actual help? A way to play it, and a way to convert it to brstm without losing the original loop point.

I know this kind of conversion is possible, MooseHunter did it on ESH...

And yes, direct rip from the iso using wiiscrubber.

This is supposedly the 'Music_WorldCircuit_Fight'.

Did I mention that I played the cello? (Lol)

Do you have wimamp to test the music files?
They don't play in winamp, either. For some reason, any wav files in this do not work.
41  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Sonic's Pink skin on: August 07, 2009, 10:24:27 AM
So far as I've seen and tested in the past, Sonic's coloration of his fur is a tint that's also applied to his shoes... so whatever shoes he's wearing, that is the tint he'll have (i.e. gold-ring costume = yellow shoes = yellow tint; green cuff costume = green shoes = green tint, etc.).
Wait... this gives me an idea. We can change the color of the shoes, right? (Not normal texture, I mean the effect texture that gives the running blur) Would changing that also change the tint?
But why is Sonic blue and not a redish blue normally... hmmm....

Well, I see that RoyMaster has uploaded your stages, OizenX, but if any of them isn't in that file, I will upload it as far as I had downloaded all your stages. Let me know if I can help you, then.
I don't have Hidden Palace, so if you could upload that...
43  Help & Tutorials / Help / Converting Music Rips on: August 07, 2009, 08:59:28 AM
I decided to rip one of my wii games to see if I could get music off of it. I picked Punch-Out.

Now, when I go into it in wiiscrubber, there's a ton of .wav files. There are txt files to tell me what is what (Thankfully), but whenever I save a file, I can't open it in Windows Media Player (Audacity doesn't give me the song either for some reason, just gives me a split second of static), so I can't test to make sure it is correct. Sometimes, Audacity also says it does not recognize the format, when it's clearly .wav.

How do I go about converting these wavs to brstms for Brawl, while keeping the original loop point intact? There's gotta be an easy way to do this then having to re-make loop points.

*Looks in here*

Hey, I had downloaded most of your Sonic stages! (I didn't get Hidden Palace, though...)

I can get the links to you tommorrow. My wii/SD card is being used at the moment to rip a wii iso.
