So all I do is (for example) If I want Link's Green color slot to be changed to say his White color then I just find that part of the code for Link & then put 09 in place of the 03 correct? then all I do then is put 03 where the 09 was & I've switched the Green & White slots right?
I really want one for every character that can work in 1. Like it tells the game which color is Blue Team which is Red which is Green but otherwise it's the same. If your guess is right PhantomWings then would the code do this with Sonic? Like make it so that on the CSS if you choose Blue team & go over Sonic will he have his Black color highlighed? Or will it still be the Blue one? Also will this code work for NTSC Riivo users? You didin't say so if I'm not mistaken. This only works for 1 character as far as I know. Isn't there one that can do every character at the same time? Like Wolf Sonic Link Ganon Fox ect all in one?
As anyone who creates new CSSs knows you can have something like 50+ character icons on the CSS but only about 45ish are used for them. Lets say you wanted more than just ZSS, Pokemon, Sheik, ect. added. Lets say you want the alloys & Giga & Warioman & even the other costume for Wario but you just don't want them to have say Falcon's picture for Red Alloy or Bowser's for good old Giga. How would you proboly put their own pics for each icon? Post below what are the steps you'd take & I'll try them. If they work I'll let you request a cool CSS with them on it using the winning idea. I'll put mine to show you how for just in case you don't know how.
SonicWolf's Idea for Giga, alloys & WarioMan: 1: Open up CSS in BrawlBox 2: Look to see how many empty uneeded slots their are (if none I create them) 3: Put in CSPs, Character Icons, ect. in the useless file in the CSS 4: Find (or make) more useless files for Resaults & In Game for safety (lower the probobilaty of crashing then) & repeat to add in Giga & stuff 5: Save CSS (make sure to keep a copy) & open up new saved CSS in CSS Oganizer 6: Add in new icons & find faces for Giga & his friends (WarioMan, alloys) & stick 'em in 7: Save (make sure you copy the file before saving) 8: Test & hope it works!
Of course this is an idea thread so I don't want people saying something like:
"quote of someone else" This just sucks cuz of Blah Blah Blah.
I've seen this kind of thing & its quite mean. Not very helpful ether. Still. I can't really prevent it but I would like for this thread to not have that kind of thing. It's fine to say someone's idea won't work but give a good, detailed reason why & give something to contribuite to their idea to help. This way you can say it is not a great idea but you also help them make it better.
If this works out we might be able to have characters over these slots then hacked so we can have say Shadow over DK vs Cloud over DK sense they are differnt characters in terms of slots (I don't mean like copying DK 2 times then having both in there)! This could be big so lets band together & try it out. If not it's no big deal but it would be awesome if it does work!
I have all sorts of awesome hacks but I can't have someone like say... Shadow over Sonic cuz Shadow would be on Sonic's Blue color & I'd have to change the colors around to fit the team colors & I'm quite possitive having a blue Shadow in the default Shadow slot would make no sense & would look bad. I'm just wondering if it's possible to make Sonic's Blue color over his Black instead via code & if not this is a request for a code like this. Changing the Red Blue & Green colors would be awesome cuz then it doesn't matter who you choose you can still have Blue Shadow on Blue team & Default Shadow on Red ect!

I really want a Gecko NTSC File Patch Code to do everything Riivo can do (SFX, THP, ect.) so I can just use Gecko. :/ Maybe also something that would let you have multiple characters on 1 character (like Shadow over DK & Cloud over DK & have them fight with sepreate movesets) since that would be awesome! Till Gecko can do Riivo's stuff (THP & SFX & stuff) as well I'll stick to Riivo since I just love the movies! The opening movie is actually fun to watch if it's epic
Darn. I hit a snag. Need a way to turn thps to a bunch of jpgs. Anyone got an idea? I think thats all I'll need. Otherwise it will be the same plan.
Thats why I'm dedecating today for it. Gotta try a few shortcuts like figuring out which of the movies do I want. I will keep this updated with any snags or whatever I come across. & yes. This is Frame by Frame but if you got the Brawl intro (full intro incuding the line up & everything in the title .pac as well as the OPmovie.thp) it will be easier since it will be pure images. then you just grab a full few frames of another & replace where you want. Still working on it but still believing this should work. coverting the images & adding music will be the hardest I think while the longest will be replacing frames :/ Post Merge: December 28, 2012, 11:40:34 AMWill try by 3:00pm today CST!
