Hmm, can you link me to/upload your XML file to see if I could use it?

It gives the same advice as BlackJax did, but it's for a different type of XML to mine; I use the File Patch Code. I'm not 100% sure on everything still, so I'm not certain I have that (I only recently changed over).

The readme again didn't work. Is there anything else I can do? Maybe I can get an XML like vondy has?

Urgh, neither mine or the one you posted worked at all. Where am I going wrong? Is there anyone who could upload an XML that works or something? Tongue

^That's my "SSBBFiles" XML. Would something like that work? It's midnight so I can't test it... Tongue

GeckoOS has it working, but misses out every other hack I have outside textures so I'll leave that Tongue

Gonna try editing common_en =D

EDIT: I replaced it with my files, that didn't work... Are there any other things I could do? D=

Hmm. I downloaded this Motion.pac (http://www.mediafire.com/?jmgydmgtzkn - LongHairedZSS) and it still makes no difference. Is there any fix for it?
Dr, you said "on their own". What other files do I need to put in? I'd love to get this fixed =/

Thanks guys for helping =D

I need quite urgent help.

I've already downloaded and got a Shadow PSA, complete with motion, working, so I'm pretty sure I'm not doing anything drastically wrong.

I've made a Hatsune Miku texture, which I plan to post in the near future, and I changed some of her animations. I decided it would be best to test they worked before going along with making them all.

Here's my little problem. I've uploaded the FitSZeroSuit00 PAC and PCS along with the FitSZeroSuitMotionEtc PAC files for convenience:

FitSZeroSuit00.pac http://www.mediafire.com/?d6l5auvpaqb51je
FitSZeroSuit00.pcs http://www.mediafire.com/?m7wsd4jnmkwkepe
FitSZeroSuitMotionEtc http://www.mediafire.com/?1gladd9fgjk7e4y

Now, the Miku texture works really well if I do say so myself, but none of her alt animations load at all. If, for some reason, they don't work in your BrawlBox (assuming you downloaded, of course), I changed the "Wait1" and "Wait2" animations most noticeably.

Here is the location of my ZSS hacks:

private/wii/app/RSBP/pf/Fighter/szerosuit

In this folder, I have those three files and those three files only. Two PACs and one PCS.

I have tested them, and the animations load for both the PAC and the PCS, so I don't know what's going wrong. I've gone into the core MotionEtc file and replaced "Wait1" and "Wait2" and still nothing changes when I load it up in Brawl.

The two replaced animations are fairly simple. Her "Wait1" normal standing pose has her holding her left arm up in a more laid-back fighting stance compared to ZSS's gun-holding. "Wait2" has her turning to look at the camera, swinging her arm happily then going back to the normal fighting stance; you can see if it's working simply because the first frame is the first frame of "Wait1".

I'm convinced the game simply isn't seeing it or something. I'd be very happy with a quick reply, as I really need this working.

I run Riivolution and a 4.3 PAL Wii. Thanks in advance!

Sadly, after buying my 3DS I can't afford an NTSC-U version. I had one from when Brawl very first came out with a freeloader, but I didn't look after it well at all because it was useless after the update so idk if it works. In addition I'd have to re-unlock everything because my Wii broke a while back. It all seems a bit much just to use .rel's. I'll probably just leave it, thanks for telling me! =D
24  Help & Tutorials / Help / .rel PAL files on: April 10, 2011, 11:38:05 AM
I noticed that some of my stages using Riivolution, when loaded, give me the "Annoying Sound of Death" and freeze the Wii. I have to unplug and plug back in again, and know not to use that stage.

It does this sometimes on normal stages; they're not compatible with PAL, I understand that. However, every time I use a ".rel" file to make it load over different stages, it simply doesn't work. It kills the Wii the same way.

Now, I've heard that's because they're from the NSTC ISO of the game. The PAL version is 7.98GB and would take up more than all of my available bandwith. Could anyone link me to a place where I could get these .rel PAL files individually, or at least part of one Module folder? Or even better, tell me a way around this problem?

If anyone could tell me how to fix said "Annoying Sound of Death", so I can see if it's a problem on my end and NOT the creator's, I'd be grateful. Thanks in advance!
 AWESOME 2.0!

Thanks, I'll try that!

Oh, I forgot to mention, I'm on 4.3 because I'm silly like that >_>

EDIT: Urgh, sorry to be a pain, but that didn't work either! It loaded all my textures, but again, didn't load anything from the Sound Folder. ¬_¬

EDIT2: Gah, I suck! I forgot to turn the code on the second time! IT WORKED! Thanks so much  AWESOME 2.0!

I'll try taking out Shadow Tongue
If I use that other code, will I have to re-arrange my folders? That'd be an annoyance xD

It's tragic, I know, but my Sound doesn't work. I'll go through my specifics.

-I'm PAL (everyone sighs)
-I'm set up my Riivolution using this guide: http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=287059 (It uses the File Patch Code as far as I can tell)
-Everything else works; fighters, menus, stages (well, most of them)
-NOTHING in the Sound Folder works. For example, I downloaded an excellent Shadow mod, and put the sound effects in: /private/wii/app/RSBP/pf/sound under the name of smashbros_sound. However, it doesn't work, and Shadow is a mute.
In addition to this, my "strm" folder (RSBP/pf/sound/strm) doesn't work at all. I downloaded the "He's A Pirate" and "VS Red" from the Brawl Vault, and named them "X04" and "X05" respectively, each replacing a file on Battlefield and Final Destination. In-game, nothing new appears at all. One of the stages I downloaded came with files for Norfair (the stage didn't work, sadly) and the files the person enclosed didn't work at all (they were named stuff like "D01 DarkIce Mines").

I'm 100% confident that I can place music in this game because the guide lists how to do it; it wouldn't bother if I COULDN'T with this guide, right? What am I doing wrong? I'm thinking maybe I have to LITERALLY put a ".brstm" after each file, but that seems a bit silly. Could anyone help me out?
