A thing that's plagues us hackers. TO rig your model all nice and shiny, just to find it it has to many polys.
Pro optimizer has always been a good way to lower that but it destroys a rig making all your hard work go to waste. I found out (By complete accident at that) how to stop it from destroying your rig, while lowering the polycount Happy Face

I'll be using a rig I'm working on, UMvC3 Zero on a custom bone tree

Obviously to high to play in brawl without lag Im srs here But alas! I have a solution.
First go to you model in max, obviously, and pose it. Any pose will do, just make sure a good amount of bones are moved (At least two for each separate object your optimizing). For Zero I did this

Now TURN OFF AUTOKEY! (I've forgotten to, not a good idea) and do as your normally would hit the pro optimizer option
Notice I turned on the poly and vert count over there in the corner, now you'll know this is true
Anyway Pro optimize that sucker

TA-DA! But were not done yet. Move the Pro Optimizer under the skin modifier
Yes I know it reverts back to normal. Simply click the modifier, and hit calculate again. Then go back to the skin modifier
BAM! Now export that sucker and enjoy

Oh and if you forget to turn off autokey like I did (Or if you try and remove the pro optimizer) >_> You end up with this
And remember! All models have limits .-.

ATTACKS: Some are missin. I'll fill them in soon enough

A Attacks:
Up A:
A: a punch, luffy's arm stretches slightly
AA: A second punch, Luffys other arm stretching slightly farther
AAA: gattiling Gun: A frenzy of many punches: Great speed and great power, but defiantly easy to avoid if you quick on your feet. This attack will only continue if you mash the attack button
Gear Second variation: Jet Gattiling: Super fast, with more damage and reach. Like a real one in a way
Side A: Whip: A quick slash of the foot, good range, quick speed, but more of a get away move, with little overall damage but high knockback
Gear Second variation: Jet whip: Boom, suddenly no one was infront of you, like they had mysteriously vanished in a second
Dash: Bazooka: throws his arms back as he slids from momentum, and then launches them forward
Gear Second variation: Jet bazooka:  throws his arms back as he slids from momentum, and then launches them forward

A Air Attacks:

Netrual: fireworks: Spin so fast he appears a ball, Luffy unleashes a quick lot of punches and kicks
Gear Second variation: Even faster, let all who dare near you be smighted by your foot
Side: Whip. Works great for clearing air space
Gear Second variation: It's as if your magic
Down: stamp: Show those guys whos boss with a flipflop to the head. It offers a decent damage and stun ratio
Gear Second variation: Jet Stamp: They won't see your foot but they'll sure as hell feel it

B Attacks:
Up B:  
Gear Second variation: The same thing
Neutral B: Gum Gum Pistol: A good balance of speed and power. It's not to quick and not to strong. Unless your the over powered loving type. Then GTFO!
Gear Second variation: Jet Pistol: Over powerd lovers untie. This attack offers a good balance between power of speed.. OF GOD
Side B: Gum Gum Rocket: Luffy grabs the ground in front of him and stretches back, he snaps forward and flies. Kind of like Luigi's side B. ~ 2%, 4%, 8%, 16% due to a bonus like Luigi's move.
Gear Second variation: Missile: Basically a super fast version of the above, but it sounds cooler
Down B: Ballon: Depending on your timing it's either an attack or a reflective move
Gear Second variation: Same thing: just uh, always works as a reflective or plan attack.
B Air attacks:
Up B: a teather recovery move wear he streaches his arm to grab a ledge but in a fight it would latch on to opponent and pull them down(this could even work for a suicidal move like bowser and ganon where they can grab onto someone and put themselves over the edge to die while taking the foe with them by punishing edge guarders if you are under them instead of dying from being edge guarded you bring the edge guarder with you.
Gear Second variation: What I just said, but in red
Side B: gomu gomu no copter: he curls his arms or legs around, then lets them loose in a circular copter like motion. It propells him in the direction he's facing. 3 versions. One for up, diagonal down and diagonal up (By Kagemaru)
Neutral B: Pistol: Like the ground version, but in the air
Gear Second variation: Jet Pistol: Now I'm just repeating myself
Down B: Spear: Clamping his feet in a pointed way, this quick attack is a perfect way to smack that enemy who keeps hitting you back up. It's damage isn't to high, but it has a nice whack to it
Gear Second variation: Jet Spear: There's no way the enemies goona get a second hit on you with this downward attack. You have hit them to the other side of the stage before they have time to blink

Smash Attacks: (Gear second is the same just faster and stronger)
F-Smash: Gum Gum Bazooka: Luffy throws both arms back, and snaps them forward hitting the opponent. ~ 15%

U-Smash: Stamp: Luffy Jumps on his back and launches hit feet upward

D-Smash: Gun Gum axe: A harder move to pull of, this needs the time you take to charge a smash, plus the time it takes for luffys foot to launch into the air and come back down. Great for when enemies are both above and below you

Throws: (Gear second is the same just faster and stronger)
F-Throw: Gum Gum Bell: HEADBUTT OF STRETCHING JUSTICE

B-Throw: Gum Gum Pinwheel: Luffy extends his arms, while swinging the opponent around 3 times and letting go. Kinda like Mario but uh, differ

U-Throw: Gattiling: Throws the opponent up, and quickly hits them with gattiling gun for a short moment

D-Throw: Gum Gum Hammer: Luffy spins his arms while holding the opponent, jumps behind them, and slams them to the ground like the boss that he is.


Final Smash:
Gear Third, giant pistol: Luffy will blow uph is fist super huge and punch
Gear Second variation: [censored] balance, Gear Third + Gear second, Giant Jet Pistol: Twice as strong and fast as the regular. All the players who are stupid enough to still be infront of you are [censored]ed

Taunts:
Up Taunt: Luffy tosses his hat into the air and put's it back on
Gear Second variation: Luffy slams his fist together and cracks his knuckles
Side Taunt: Luffy stretches his mouth
Gear Second variation: Luffy stretches his mouth
Down Taunt: Gear second activation taunt at 75% damage, if under luffy will do a pose
Gear Second variation: If over 150% Luffy will cancel gear second, but be stunned for a moment.

Gear Second Drawbacks:
If Gear Second hits 200% it will force cancel and add 25% damage to luffy and stun him for awhile
Gear Second adds 6% damage every second

Gear Third Draw backs:
Shrinks after using it
Gear second + Gear Third will cancel gear second, add 22% damage, shrink and stun luffy all at once

MEGAMAN VOLNUTT
Well as I'm sure at least some of you know, the current Volnutt project is on hold... for a while. I've been giving all permissions by the maker of the Volnutt project to go and start my own, maybe even join the two! As a huge Legends fan myself I am thoroughly going to enjoy this. I have a new TvC Volnutt model (With MAJOR improvements) rigged over fox right now, and working on a better one to port over ROB

Current Model

Moveset: (suggestions wanted)
MOVESET IS BEING RECREATED COMPLETELY NEW
STATS
Character Over - Rob
Size - 5/10 About the same height as fox
Running Speed - 4/10 A bit slower than Mario
Air Speed - 6/10 A little faster than Marios speed
Combo Speed - 4/10 Not bent on combos, but play your weapons right and you be able to knock up Damage quickly
Priority - 7/10 Multiple weapons made to adapt to any situation make him a great all around character, and his play styles pretty tight when mastered, but do something wrong and your left wide open
Jump Height - 6/10 Average, he was never big on jumps anyway.
Power - 6/10 Depending on which arm you use, Drill and hand have the most power, shield has the most knock back, and Machine has the quickest attacks
Weight - 7/20Unsure yet, but it should be between heavy and light

Attacks:
The following attacks do not change for any weapon choice.
B Attacks:
Up B: For now Just robs basic Up B (Help em think of something people)
Neutral B: Buster shot, small and kind of weak, but good range
Side B: A Punch Sideways, now as powerful as the dash on the arm, but stronger than the A combo on the arm
Down B: This will be what he switches between weapons with
Air B Attacks:
Up B: Same as ground
Neutral B: Same as ground
Side B: Flip Kick
Down B: Same as ground

Smash Attacks:
Up Smash: Upper cut
Side Smash: Lunches arm to the side. Similar to Marios but no arm growth.
Down Smash: Spinning kick
Air Smash Attacks:
Up Smash: Drill Up
Side Smash:
Down smash: A kick downwards

Different weaponry
Normal Arm: (Starting with this by default)
The advantage to this weapon is its overall quality, holding the most attacks, along with having an overall balance of speed and power

Up A: An overhead Punch
A Combo: Basic punch's
Side A:
Dash: Swings his arm forward for a powerful punch. Low range, but good attack power and knockback
Down A: Smacks his buster into the ground and fires, resulting in shocking any enemy's next to him
Air Attacks
Up A:
Side A:
Down A: Shot's his buster at the ground

Drill Arm:
The advantage to this weapons is his constant damage stream due to the drill and it's high attack power, it's disadvantage is It needs to be used directly next to the enemy.

Up A: Drills at the sky
Side A: Drills at the side
Neutral A: Drill, punch, Drill Combo
Dash: Dash's with His drill arm to spike the enemy
Down A: Drill Uppercut
Air Attacks:
UP A:
Side A: Same as ground
Down A: launches at the ground in a drilling frenzy

Shield Arm:
The advantage to this weapon is his defense and the ability to block and reflect projectiles/attacks and it's high knock back. Its disadvantage is its few attacks, low attack power, and needs to be right next to the enemy.

Neutral A: Shield active: Able to protect against attacks and reflect attacks. Works like pit's shield, but slowly grows smaller and weaker
Dash: Shield Dash. Dash with his shield, hitting someone with this will prove little damage but high knock back
Side A: Shield Smack: Activates his shield arm and swings it forward, very low range and attack power but high knock back
Air Attacks
All the same

Machine Buster:
The advantage to this weapon is its rapid long rang. Its disadvantage is its extremely weak attack power and it's lack of different attacks

Up A: Same as Neutral A but upward
Neutral A: Rapid Fire: Shoots his machine gun forward, bullet come fast, but with 1% damage each and no knockback what-so-ever
Any other attack combo results in the Neutral A
Air Attacks:
All the same

Grabs:
Forward: Shoves buster in their face and fires
Down: Throws them at the ground and drills into them.
Back: Throws back ward and fires his machine Gun at them

Win's/Taunts:
Taunt 1: Arm pump from a mission complete
Taunt 2: Switches to drill arm and spins it at a high speed for a secound (Being hit during this will result in staying in drill arm mode)
Taunt 3:
Will be using the wins form the other volnutt project!

Final Smash:
Ground: The shining Laser has been, by standard, volnutts most powerful weapon, proving so by defeating the final boss both in both games within seconds and being his hyper combo during TvC, now it's his final smash. I plan on making this work like the TvC hyper combo, kinda like the current volnutts final smash but a little less flashy.
Air: Machine Buster Frenzy: Same as his TvC one

So I was rigging a model, and I export it as a .DAE to test and exit out of 3DS Max 8. Now the next time I open it and anytime after if I start trying to do something it says

Meh I got bored and wanted to revamp my entire brawl and make it glitch free so... wanna help out? i need a roster and I want whats good ^_^ but the tops hacks give me crap Im srs here So here's the thing. I'm more about a PSA. If it's a good vertex or texture. Don't suggest it unless it's got a good PSA with it, and one that's complete/don't freeze ever, and don't suggest shadow I see what you did there ...
