The Soccer/Foot Ball is probably too strong of an item to incorporate here. How about making him throw a barrel or something? There was an old DK PSA that used that.
I know, that why it takes time before to kick the ball after the item is generate so it easier to dodge or the opponent kicks the football on sandbag or roll away before the kick xD

even if he kicked theball, it will take delay before he can get up again

Maybe he swings a CD at you for one of his smash attacks?

Also, will he have a crawl? It'd be hilarious if he dropped to the floor and could just roll around.

Probably one of the hardest things to make will be the visual cues for his attacks. He doesn't have many (visible) bones to animate, so it'll take some creativity to make charging/startup animations that are distinguishable from each other.

Anyways, this project looks promising and I look forward to it.
true about his rolling xD

he has actually 2 visible bones if we count out the HipN. he has Foot bone and Head bone xD

though about some moveset to him.

Dash A: running and trying to slam into the opponent, but hits the ground on his face. pretty good knockback and %, like jigglypuff and dededes Dash A.

A: same as pikachu, headbutt

Tilt A: same as pikachu, kicking with his "feet" O.o (same on slightly up and down)

up tilt: (GALoT) generate a gooey bomb and throwing it up, no damage by throwing, only gooey bomb can do the damage (you can't keep it)

down tilt: low kick, trying to kick on the opponent so they tripping, huge chance for tripping (30-50%), otherwise, pretty low % but flying at 90grade on the ground.

Smash Forward: (Mariofan1138) swinging with CD or possible item.

Football kick, the item football is generating on before him on the animation "start" and sandbag will charge for a kick a medium charge kick, charge it more for more power, after he kicks the ball we will trip backward and landing on his back. The kick does damage, but the item football will do more. however, the opponent can attack the football before sandbag does attack and hit him with it OR the football will roll away if the stage is not flat. some delay after the kick too.

Smash Up: will charge up to jump as high he can, pretty good range upwards, great knockback and %, potential KO move.

Smash Down: PitFall, He will charge up to make a move, it will take around 2-3 seconds before he gets the pitfall and throw it downward there he stand. like Snakes Smash Down except it's a pitfall and some more time to make that attack.
If possible, you can make it around 1-2 seconds but you can only have twice on stage like Diddy's bananas.

N-B, I dont have any good idea but maybe the football kick can be here lol

Nair: He will spin around in place in the air, at the end of the animation, he will generate a bumper and "drops it" (so it will be stuck in air), however since this is a item, he can be hurt by it and get bumped.

Fair: he will spin one time forward and trying to hit the opponent with his foot (like mewtwos Dair)
pretty great spike killing, hit by right time, a Homerun Bat "pling" will be heard

Bair: he will generate the item "saturn" and kick it backward so it flies back OR being thrown backward to hit the opponent, the kick will do some damage and saturn doesn't have good knockback but giving 5% each time

Uair: trying to punch the opponent with his head upwards, same streight like pikachus Uair.

Dair: Flying straight down with his head first to do damage, great spike with great % at the beginning just before he flies down, if he hit someone after it, they flying to the side instead

During the Final Smash around the Sandbag he can have fireworks graphics so it'll be like a mini festival! Happy Face

Should be something like stickers or CDs instead of healing items or items with any real effect.
how about a small uncommon chance of stickers, more uncommon chance for CD and rare chance for food "1-2%" ones x3

How about this:
Every 2-3 punches(so it's not like spam if it's every 1 punch) Sandbag gets hit a health item appears(the ones that are like 2% health).
Also, while he is invincible during his FS he should be doing a squish dance to mock everyone because it would be cheap if he could walk around while being invincible.

and i dont think tha tis a good idea with the being punched cuz being put into a combo= spam
I mean like on 1 of 5/10, a random item pops out if he get punchs so hard so he flying after 10-15 frames :3

otherwise we can just have the confetti/stickers lol, so we will keep up with his "character like" item sandbag xD

since the sandbag item does sometimes drops a item when being punched, how about we do the same on the playable sandbag? with confetti effect? :3

would be funny if you have more %, the further you will "recover" by that explosion

OR it could be on his B attack! a charge able Homerun bat behind him, the longer you loading it, the further. it can be it's "main" attack cause you "always" hit him with a homerun bat on HRC :3

since sandbag was a item, it would be funny if we had "item" theme on it :3

like I said about the B down. Up down could be throwing a Bom-omb on itself to cause a explosion that makes him go upwards, maybe twice but can change the direction on the last one.
and B can be he generates a random item

but otherwise, he should be a "body" attacker

B down: Subsitute
how the attack works: Sandbag is generating a sandbag (the real item) before him, it does some damage around 5-15% to make one. the item sandbag will take the attacks instead until it disappears or falling of the stage. well you know what the sandbag item do x3

Rumors goes on that you've used an upgraded BrawlBox in your tutorial that, supposedly only you and Pikazz have, some says it's the finished one with the importer/exporter! Is it true or a mere rumor somebody told me?

except for beta test it and look for errors.
but I am using this released version to look why it gets ingame lag by the new bones,
like finding a needle in haystack I see what you did there ...
it's not impossible, just takes alot of time
