I'm trying to find a way to make characters shields universally weaker, so shield breaking will happen more often in the game.

Any guidance on how to do this without having to go and up the shield damage for every single move in the game?

Question 1) What do i need to edit in sc_selCharacter to remove or make transparent the MenselchrChrnms files (the tiny name banners in each characters individual box)

I've done searches through the forums without finding definite answers that worked for me.  One such example being this thread, where i tried to do what ASF1nk said, but it was really unclear and had no results.



Question 2) which files control the arrangement of characters on the CSS, (E.g. Whether mario is at the top or bottom of the CSS)

I've sweeped the miscData 30 from one CSS to another and position of the icons changed while still keeping the same overall format ("advanced" Player boxes in the 4 corners)
so it seems like the file that controls it is somewhere in MiscData30. Anyone know where?
