For bannerbomb setup, where do I put the boot.dol or boot.elf for homebrew?

"16. Make sure that the .dol or .elf file for the Homebrew you want to run is named "boot.dol" or "boot.elf"."

Where should this be? We were supposed to erase it earilier.

I seem to have my SD card with something that alters my gameplay, or I don't have something on my SD card. I will provide pictures of possible locations of some trouble:

Here is the root of my SD card.

Here is private>wii>app>rsbe

Here is the contents in the apps folder.

The problems I have been having occurs on the character selection page and the stages page. The character selection page doesn't have the layout of brawl plus (which is a total sign that something is wrong). On the stage selection page, the layout is funky compared to a fully working brawl plus (i know this from observing youtube posts). When I run my cursor over a stage(s), a beeping sound sustains until I turn the wii off.

Basically, the phantom wings works because I texture hacked and pressed random, on the stage selection screen. I honestly don't care if I run the game through brawl plus or minus. I just want the hacks to exist.

I am sorry that the pictures are small.

I have homebrew set up. I have bootmii in. I used gecko os to launch game. I downloaded the Phantom Wings hack and the code is used. I go to the screen that shows all of the stages, and I run my cursor over the stages and the game freezes. A loud noise sounds off. I wait no longer than a minute for any movement and trun off the wii. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Is it the Sd card set up?

A dead thread was the only tie that I could find with my problem.

7  Help & Tutorials / Help / Vertex Hacking Questions/Brawlbox: Kirby's Hats? on: July 12, 2011, 10:44:58 PM
I finally figured out how to vertex hack as a beginner and I wanted to take what I know to a step farther. I noticed that people can take hats from other characters and focus them in the correct spot on a character. I was looking up characters in the character vault and thought that jigglypuff is an easy character to morph. With the stretch of her ears I wanted to create a jigglechu, but I wanted it authentic. I wanted to use pikachu's actual tail. This means somehow splitting a polygon, I suppose. With this, I thought it was impossible to accomplish.

With thinking this, I decided to make some luigi jigglypuff (how beginner could I get? <.<) with an authentic hack. I downloaded one of the falcon helmet jiggs and noticed brawlbox incluiding many different mdlo files. I knew some were shadows and others wern't, but one was textures from falcon's hat (respectivly) while the other was one of kirby's hats. I have no idea where this kirby hat came from. Is it a Pac file (fit not motion, 00...) from where the hat originated (falcon) or kirby somewhere? I can't find the mdlo files. Please help. thanks!

So, umm, what tutorial should I look at to see how to change moves. For example, replace peach's turnips with poke balls or fox's lazer to a star from a star rod?

It might not be working because I unzipped it  incorrectly. I tried it on my windows xp, but it didn't work as well.

All I did was winrar the file, extract to my desktop, clicked on it, and the program shut down on me.

Oh, thank you, it popped up as if letters were going to appear in the black box, but it just went away. I used the downgraded version as well and it never worked. I have to be doing something wrong.

I'll try it on an actual windows xp computer (it sux because its so darn slow), but I want to see if it is me or my computer (as it is a windows 7).
