1  Help & Tutorials / Help / Brawl Plus Problems: Messed up SD card? on: August 11, 2011, 12:21:17 PM
I seem to have my SD card with something that alters my gameplay, or I don't have something on my SD card. I will provide pictures of possible locations of some trouble:

Here is the root of my SD card.

Here is private>wii>app>rsbe

Here is the contents in the apps folder.

The problems I have been having occurs on the character selection page and the stages page. The character selection page doesn't have the layout of brawl plus (which is a total sign that something is wrong). On the stage selection page, the layout is funky compared to a fully working brawl plus (i know this from observing youtube posts). When I run my cursor over a stage(s), a beeping sound sustains until I turn the wii off.

Basically, the phantom wings works because I texture hacked and pressed random, on the stage selection screen. I honestly don't care if I run the game through brawl plus or minus. I just want the hacks to exist.

I am sorry that the pictures are small.
2  Help & Tutorials / Help / Braw; Plus Evil Beep of Death on: August 04, 2011, 03:33:33 PM
I have homebrew set up. I have bootmii in. I used gecko os to launch game. I downloaded the Phantom Wings hack and the code is used. I go to the screen that shows all of the stages, and I run my cursor over the stages and the game freezes. A loud noise sounds off. I wait no longer than a minute for any movement and trun off the wii. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Is it the Sd card set up?

A dead thread was the only tie that I could find with my problem.

3  Help & Tutorials / Help / Vertex Hacking Questions/Brawlbox: Kirby's Hats? on: July 12, 2011, 10:44:58 PM
I finally figured out how to vertex hack as a beginner and I wanted to take what I know to a step farther. I noticed that people can take hats from other characters and focus them in the correct spot on a character. I was looking up characters in the character vault and thought that jigglypuff is an easy character to morph. With the stretch of her ears I wanted to create a jigglechu, but I wanted it authentic. I wanted to use pikachu's actual tail. This means somehow splitting a polygon, I suppose. With this, I thought it was impossible to accomplish.

With thinking this, I decided to make some luigi jigglypuff (how beginner could I get? <.<) with an authentic hack. I downloaded one of the falcon helmet jiggs and noticed brawlbox incluiding many different mdlo files. I knew some were shadows and others wern't, but one was textures from falcon's hat (respectivly) while the other was one of kirby's hats. I have no idea where this kirby hat came from. Is it a Pac file (fit not motion, 00...) from where the hat originated (falcon) or kirby somewhere? I can't find the mdlo files. Please help. thanks!
4  Help & Tutorials / Help / Vertex Forum Reply to "Beginner's guide to MK64n's method without patching + Tip on: June 28, 2011, 05:45:31 PM
I have had an issue with this forum created by Miacis Kusanagi for a very long time. It is only around the AiS download by Miacis Kusanagi and provided by MK64. I have emailed Miacis and had no success. I also emailed Miacis and he never returned an email--I both personally emailed him and emailed him on kitty korp. But what really bugs me is how Miacis gives the excuse of not making a tutorial or giveing any more feedback with a general reference to the "I am too busy" excuse.

Anyway, I am having trouble with the AiS launching and working. I own a toshiba windows 7 laptop (64 bit I think). What usually happens with upon launching is that toshiba is trying to search the problem to the programs stopping of work. In other terms, the AiS stops working immediatly after launching and toshiba tries to search the problem with the program. I am sorry to say that I can't actually show you what I see on my screan because I don't know how to do that as many others do on kitty korp. If someone could show me, I would be so glad.

What I am totally searching for is either a different way to convert a  *.brres file to a *.dae file or I would like specific help with downloading AiS in order to allow it to work. I only found one specific topic on changing the .brres file. Here is the download like: http://kittycorp.proboards.com/index.cgiboard=ontopicdiscussion&action=print&thread=229

I'm not sure what I need to download or mostly anything else on this dead thread.

I actually understand everything else on this thread, but this AiS program is making me sick.
5  Help & Tutorials / Help / I NEED HELP WITH TEXTURES/GIMP 2.6 on: June 03, 2011, 10:07:07 PM
I sent this message to someone thinking that I would get an answer sought for, but it was unfortunatly never answered correctly or to my liking. Here is the message:

"Thoughts...wow, thats a sexy peach right there Shocked...red is lovely...what?

Oh yah, I'm am very new to texture hacking and just plain wii hacking in general. I am now to the point where I could just change the appearance of characters. My whole master plan was to change peach's appearance into a marry poppins figure--as well as many sexy things (like your red peach/rosalina figure). But, I am to my first blunder or complacation...

HAIR

I just recently downloaded the software, Gimp 2.6, and it looks so neat. But, I am still a newb to everything involved with texture changes. So, I tried erasing parts of the hair, and of course, it was hollow. I want definition with style changes. I don't really understand the boundries of the hair because it shows the texture of the hair with a surrounding, similar color. What do I do with that? If I made the hair longer, it would interfear with the other parts, wouldn't it? I just want definition (different highlights like the original hair) and a change. Do I stretch the polygon? What do I do in gimp to just subject the hair to a color change and not the whole picture? What do you do most of the time with your hacks? Am I asking too many questions?

I thank you for your patience with reading this long message. Bless you for your gift with texture changes.   Cheesy"
