1  Help & Tutorials / Help / BrawlEx Clone Engine icons shows as RANDOM even with the patches in their folder on: June 17, 2021, 05:12:39 PM
MAJOR EDIT - Turns out the sc_selcharacter.pac was the cause of the freezing. Now I can enter the CSS, but my icons shows up as "RANDOM" plus freezes, even with the common2.pac file and the .rel file in my module folder. I'm stuck here, but at least I progressed. Smiley If anyone has a clue, please tell me.

I have been looking everywhere for INDIVIDUAL CHARACTERS cBliss codes, but, no success. I do not want ALL characters to have 10 slots unless there is no other choice. So, if possible, how can I make ONE character have 10 slots rather than 4, 5 or 6? Thanks.

So, uh, I dunno if you had this problem before, or if it goes in the right topic, but I had to create a new RSBE01.txt since I lost the old one, so I had to find the codes all over the Internet again. However, the ''Unrestricted Pause Camera'' I found crashes the Wii when I move the camera after pressing START during a match, so I can no longer take snapshots freely. Here's the code I have :

(found on YouTube along with a WORKING custom CSS code).  Is it because the Pause Camera code I mentionned is bogus or what?  'Cause I'm NTSC, by the way. Thanks!

EDIT : Turns out the code I mentioned was for the PAL version, and I finally found the NTSC one, and it works perfectly. Solved, topic locked.

So, yeah, I'm trying to go into the PSA, since I have several of my own OCs in Brawl, but stuck with the original character's moves. Also, I have characters whose movoes doesn't suit them well, like Flandre with Peach's attacks or Remilia with Zelda's attacks...not pretty when Remi turns into Nabooru via DOWN+B (Nabooru's over Sheik, but NOT in the Vault, I did the rigging and such)... So... let's start with the 2 first PSAs I'm planning to do first:

Metallix (at the right)
( NO, this is NOT the StC's brotherhood emperor, don't think it is because of the name!  Mario Facepalm Also, this is not a ''Mary Sue'' and the model is a mix of custom, original and vertex combined together, as I can't make 100% custom models yet)

Well, the main character of a novel I wrote has Ice-elemental attacks, so basically, it is a Sonic PSA with Ice attacks and a different Final Smash (dunno how to edit Final Smashes, though, so some help would be appreciated) The major changes are B button attacks and smash attacks

Neutral B - Similar to Lucas' PK Freeze, invulnerable when casting the spell
Up B - Simiar as Sonic's, but with no spring
Side B - Shoots a freezing beam from his hands
Down B - Punches the ground and freezes anyone too close

Final Smash : Sub-Zero Wind : A OHKO Final Smash, Metallix summons intensively cold wind that turns the background blue, and causes an explosion after a few seconds, only avoidable with Starman, Dragoon or a PSA move that makes you invincible Tongue

(Finally found an APPROPRIATE image of Colress after seeing countless of INNAPROPRIATE images for 2 hours on Google   XD) Oh... I'm somehow smitten with him for some reason. I know there's no 3d model of him...yet. However, one of my pals is doing it, and I'll ask him for a preview of the model. And I don't have much ideas for him, since he's a Pokemon scientist, exept the Up B attack should replace the Cypher by a Magnezone (I just don't want to give him Snake's explosives...) Any moveset ideas are welcome!  Laugh

EDIT : SuperBarrio sent me a preview of the model. Not completed yet, but soon to be.
Ahh, if only my laptop didn't ''die'', I would have started working on the PSA right now...

EDIT2 : Well, I would need the help of a PSAer (any PSAer will do), especially those who worked on PSAing Snake before. I just don't want Colress to have Snake's explosives (that's so un-likely him...) I should get my laptop repaired this weekend...

A friend of mine (and his own pals too) somehow need help, as they were told that newer Wiis (NOT WiiUs, but those Wiis which are not compatible with GameCube games) CANNOT have the Homebrew Channel installed on them, so these dudes lost all hopes of using the wonderful hacks out there in the Vault. I'm asking this question for my best bud and his friends; is there a way to install HomeBrew stuff on those newer Wiis? My pal said he would do something great for me if I was able to install Homebrew stuff on his Wii... BTW, his Wii is deep black, but I dunno which version he has, though.

So, yeah, I'm aware that G&W has only 1 slot when hacked (FitGameWatch00.pac/pcs) but I was told that someone successfully managed to create re-colors of his own model port in the single slot that G&W has (I don't know who, or which hack) so I was wondering : I exported a model with textures in 3DS Max (rigged over G&W's bones), imported it into the FitGameWatch00.pac/pcs and created new colors in the FitGameWatchColorAnim CLR file that bears the same names as the textures that need to be changed...but it doesn't do anything, as the character's body is still pink, even after switching outfits... Last, they are flagged as Flag2 in BrawlBox. Could someone help me in this thing?

So. Some user told me, that if I want Zelda over wario (which I saw somewhere almost a week ago, but got deleted for being non-working) I'll just have to take the Peach over Wario REL (found here: http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=25193 ) and replace all digits with 67 by digits with 68 so they can become Zelda's. I followed the guy's steps, I can now choose Wario without crashing the game, but when I load a stage (any stage), this is when the Wii freezes... Basically all I did was to change Peach's digits with Zelda's digits using the Module Editor v3, but I wonder if there was a mistake in there... :- Can anyone tell me what mistake I've done?

I know the replays you register can't be converted into AVI or other things like that, but many people seems to be able to make videos on their own. So, how can I make such videos of my replays? I have my replays on my SD card, but I don't know what to do after that...

Someone gave me, via PM, a file named "FitCaptain00.pcs" with a model of Snake over Captain Falcon and with a PSA for Snake with Falcon's moves, but my Wii crashes when I wanna FALCON PUNCH my enemies... Is there something I'm not doing correctly? Do I need a .rel file or something like that?

Project Volvagia v0.13

Hi, and welcome to ''Project Volvagia''! What this, you ask? Well, this project USED to be a project of Rayquaza over Olimar, but it got abandoned not once, but TWICE by different people (Crashouti and Sliding Ghost) and was just a memory...until now! The two people who abandoned the project said that anyone who was interested could finish it on their own, and I was wondering why such a marvellous project was tossed into the dump, so I decided to bring it back! Volvagia is a real damage pummeler, loves to break shields and has a few moves, but still interesting.

WHAT'S NEW: Volvagia, as seen in OoT, is a dragon that can fly, therefore, can jump 99 times!!! Its size has been lowered down, (OBLIVIOUSLY or else it would take the 1 of 3 of the whole stage!!!) the weight over 200, very low gravity and tons of shield-breaking moves. Volvagia has a brand new jumping animation, made by yours truly. The animation when hit by a strong attack has also changed! Thanks to a special someone (who does not want to be revealed publicly), he ported a blowing-up Final Smash to Volvagia!!! The guy mentions he takes no credit for the FS, that he just used a random PSA with a blowing-up FS and ported it to Volvagia. Kudos to him!!!
EDIT : Someone PMed me telling me who was the owner of the FS, and since he doesn't wanna people using it without permission, the FS has been removed from the database. Sorry!


Most attacks to tons of damage, especially the SMASH DOWN, where Ray...errr, Volvagia spins its tail surrounded by lightning. It does 10% damage to itself, but if any unlucky foe comes in, they will take near a whooping 200% damage and will be sent flying across the screen, guaranting an One-Hit KO!
However, some moves still remains unchanged, and Volvagia even walks around with Pikmin!!! The following moves needs to be changed, but I dunno how to make them since they will use brand new animaions, so, if you're a PSA maker, you are welcome to help me create those moves!!!

Neutral B - Same as Olimar, pretty useless since Volvagia uses no Pikmin attacks. Needs to be replaced by a very powerful fire-breathing attack, much like Charizard's or Bowser's.

Smash Up - Nothing for the moment. Needs to be replaced with a vertical headbutting attack, which Volvagia raises its head from the ground and does heavy damage.

ATTACKS:
NEUTRAL A - Weak Ram : Basic attack

SIDE A - Bite : Doesn't actually bites the foes, but the animation was programmed to do a bite (poor Pokemon Snagger, forgot his name...)

UP B - Wheelie : Turns like a wheel, damaging anyone who touches it.

SIDE B - Strong Ram : A far stronger version of the A button attach, but needs som slight time to charge.

SMASH SIDE - Flare Cannon : Shoots a ball of fire (actually a Super Scope ball, TBH) but powered up with fire. Takes time to charge but send enemies flying away.

SMASH DOWN - Thunder Tail : A VERY dangerous attack. As quoted by Sliding Ghost ; Getting hit by the tip of the tail is an instant KO. What's worse, is that even hit, Volvagia will still performs the attack. However, it will do 10% damage to itself.

Hi, I'm having a hard time getting Rayquaza from the Subspace Emissary into 3DS Max, because even if I do anything right, after the DAE import, I get TONS of errors (usually over 110)...and nothing in 3DS Max. I wish someone would have ripped it or something like that. The errors I get are :

Hi, I learned that .rel swapping isn't possible with most characters, so I was wondering if there is another way to port a character over another one... Like if I wanted to replace Diddy with someone else, as it has been done with Falco and Marth (Sephiroth). I also saw a Zelda on Sheik, so I'm just wondering how can I do this...if possible.
