Saw a request to put the previusly made femele captain falcon (by ShadowLuigi I believe) over the actual captain falcon. Since I was bored, I took it upon me to do this. I ended up redoing the model. I did HORRIBLE things to both falcon and ZSS to get her over his frame. I gave up and had to use bone edits though, but indexes should be pretty much the same, so perfectly playable. Still needs materials and done.
Nice looking so far. A few things I notice though: -The angle between each change of direction in the blade should be smaller. In other words the change of direction should be a bit more noticeable. -The spikes that sprout every change of direction, should be a bit bigger.
This is based on the one robin seems to wield in the sm4sh trailer.
Any idea you can think of is most likely possible. If you manage to make the model, you should be able to get it in the game. However, this thread is to show custom made models. To request advice or help, you should go to the help section, or the model help.
Final tweaking on the mod, her in-game size was a bit small, even for Peach, so I made her slightly taller to compensate
Size mods FTW!
About that, I've been looking at your progress. Maybe the problem is that you rigged a small mesh over a big skeleton. That probably happened because peach has oddly long arms. Nice to see you managed to keep her proportional.
Yep, I may just make all scales be just single pallets and give him a furry spec map.
Progress on texturing Rogue; Modeling is still being worked upon, but has been put on hiatus. I may rig the original and release that and finish this one later.
Is pit the base of the model? I think I notice his chest and arms. Who was he going to be over?
It's the "Always deform" checkbox in advanced parameters. Just check it and uncheck it. But just to be safe, before doing that. Copy the skin modyfier. Then right click it and collapse all. Then paste it back. Now uncheck, then check the "Always deform" on advanced parameters. This will make the skin modifier take the current position as its default position, which is the one bralbox uses.
